Problem with Emulator?

I've noticed something, I tried downloading Pokemon Shiny gold and Liquid Ocean, GBA hacks. Now I've gone over every question repeatedly, I may just be tired from lack of sleep but NOTHING I was told to do works.
HOWEVER.
The hacks for GB/GBC games work (Prism) for example (Gold Version).

But whenever I apply to patches to they're appropriate games ALL I get is a white screen.
I use Lunar IPS, I changed my Emulator Flash to 128 and back, and I used fresh download versions of the ROMS and IPS.

WHAT am I doing wrong????? :: hangs self ::

Yeah well... Have you downloaded the latest version of VisualBoyAdvance?
Because that could be the problem, what version have you got?
Also make sure you patch over a clean rom, and make sure it's patched over the right rom base.

Nope. Get 1.8 :D

Fire Red doesnt like your Version, I found that out too.
