What problems do you find about Pokemon Diamond and Pearl? Once I've already played through the game, it becomes boring for some reason...I've started Pokemon Diamond recently (after finishing Pokemon Crystal) and although Pokemon Crystal is older than Diamond, I found it better. For starters, things were a lot faster. There weren't any unnecessary pauses in between turns, and the storyline was considerably better than Pokemon Diamond. I'm just not motivated in Pokemon Diamond. What are some other things you found wrong with Diamond/Pearl?

it doesn't have much of a post story

Well, the game ended too soon. Like, when I finished the game, like finish national dex (Got Arceus by AR), we didnt have anything else to do. What I want is to go to other regions.

I found it was an overall good game but,,,

another evil team? *sighs*, nintendo is running out of ideas

When you get to hearthrome...go to the gym...big dissapointment, you cant face her yet because for a trainer you suck...get more badges and come back...which takes long enough>

The elite 4 and gym leaders get less creative each year,(i swear, roark and brock are almost the exact same)

Also volkner somewhat reminded me of the 3rd gym leader in kanto (was it Captain Surge or something?)

    still thinking up more...

Uninspired music. Overworld maps that were too linear. Poor framerate in battles (make a Pokemon use a move in this game and compare its speed to that of Gen III's, much slower). Underdeveloped characters (well, all the games suffer from this to an extent). GTS is impossible. Wi-fi is limited to basic battling and trading. Contests are just... GRRR!!! Baking Poffins isn't as fun as Berry Blending. And the snow, the evil, unbikeable snow.

Single Player is dry and overall too easy to beat. I remember RBY, that was kinda hard in the single player department, but that may be because we were new to the series back then. I seriously wouldn't mind an Elite 4 with level 90-100 types. It might make training too easy, but it would be sick, especially if the AI got upgraded.

There was very little to do in the after-game. A few of the new Pokemon bugged me too. *coughMagmortarcough*

    The snow place
i hated that entire trip of walking up thru the snow, and wen u fight someone it alredy has hail goin on
    it sux
i also just wish there was sum character customization among other types of that

Oh my gosh,, Ok you know how Cresselia and Mesprite are like running around sinnoh,, well.... Now that Ive caught them, theres a MissingNo. Replacing them 0.0
Ive ran into it a couple of times, Im afraid to catch it cause like, its a Glitch...

The storyline moves SO SLOWLY and whenever I would try to restart, I would get tired before I even got to the second gym and just forget about it. The surf speed also pissed me off as it would take you years to try and catch something.

At least the surf speed in Platinum is better and there's actually something to do after finishing the first storyline (Battle Frontier anyone?) Plus there's more to get in the beginning with 60 more Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex.

EDIT: Forgot about taking ages between turns i battle. It was a pain. They didn't really get rid of those in Platinum, but I prefer it over Diamond and Pearl.
