Tower Minister Roman: "Ahahaha! So you think you have the skill to defeat five trainers in a row?
Heh! You've got guts, kid! Tell you what, if you do manage to defeat my five star pupils and then defeat me, all without losing a battle, I'll let you in on a little secret about this island!
I'll be waiting for you at the top of Battle Tower! So says the Tower Minister, Roman!"
Trainer 1 - Cooltrainer Markus
Pre-Battle: "Haha! I'm the defensive master of the Battle Tower! If you can scale this mountain, then I'll give you the key to the next floor!"
Payout Line: "Impressive. You may have what it takes to make it to the top!"
Post-Battle: "See you around, kid! And don't give in, it only gets harder from here!"
Trainer 2 - Psychic Omendo
Pre-Battle: "Hmph. I don't care if you are the genius kid that destroyed Team Enel, I will prove to Roman that you're just another punk!"
Payout Line: "... Whatever, you're still just a punk!"
Post-Battle: "You don't deserve to join up with The Minister!"
Trainer 3 - Dragon Tamer Liam
Pre-Battle: "Oh, hello, wonderful day isn't it? Huh, a battle? Sure, why not, I need the practice."
Payout Line: "That was awesome!"
Post-Battle: "Just between you and me, there's something strange about Tower Minister Roman, but I can't quite put my finger on it... well good luck!"
Trainer 4 - Farmer Lando
Pre-Battle: "Ha ha ha! ... Gimme a hearty laugh, kid! Ha! Ha ha ha! There we go! Now, how's about we get down to business? Let's do some fighting!"
Payout Line: "That was a great battle, Kiddo!"
Post-Battle: "Watch out for the next guy, he's dead serious about everything!"
Trainer 5 - Enel Lenena
Pre-Battle: "You! I will get revenge for my fallen comrades! Prepare to face the last of Team Enel!"
Payout Line: "NO!"
Post-Battle: "No! I refuse to accept this defeat! .... just kidding! Actually, I've been working undercover with the Tower Minister for years, trying to take down his rivals Team Enel. You did the job for me, and, well... umm... thanks?"
Tower Minister Roman
Pre-Battle: "You've done well to make it this far, kid. Welcome... to the top floor of the Battle Tower, and the place where Deoxys is said to appear to the worthy.
Give me a battle to remember you by, and maybe we will impress Deoxys enough for him to come!"
Payout Line: "Haha! An excellent battle! Even if Deoxys does not come, I am satisfied for now with this!"
Post-Battle: "It is a pity that Deoxys hasn't come, but you are an amazing trainer. Will you accept the Silver Tower Seal, and return when you have the other Silver Seals? I will be stronger then.
Oh, right, the secret about the island. This island that the Frontier is built on is protected by Deoxys. Without his protection and his favor, this place would be crushed by meteors every month. Isn't that something else?"
ROUND 2
Tower Entrance
Enel Lenena: "Ah! Hey, you! Listen up! Two of our trainers had been looking for the power of Deoxys, and hypnotized the Tower Minister! They've managed to beat back everyone we've sent up against them, but since you made it up and got the Silver Tower Seal, maybe you can help?
We have to stop them before they anger Deoxys, without him there's nothing to stop meteors from crushing the Frontier to itty-bitty bits!"
Trainer 6 - Prometheus
Pre-Battle: "You seek to stop our master from taking Deoxys? Hah! Nothing will stop our master now!"
Payout Line: "Ha, your power is nothing compared to Roman's new power!"
Post-Battle: "...and now I shall retreat and warn The Minister! Have fun dealing with my partner!"
Trainer 7 - Andromeda
Pre-Battle: "...sorry."
Payout Line: "...thank you."
Post-Battle: "...please stop them."
Tower Minister Roman, Round 2
Pre-Battle: "Ha hA Ha hA! I will BRING THIS ISLAND TO ITS knees!
Hrrgh~! [Player]! He-he-help- me!
hA Ha hA! I am in conrol, HALFWIT! If you do not stand down, TOWER MINISTER ROMAN will kill you!
Hrrgh~! [Player]! Ple-e-ease! There-are too many-innocent
hA Ha hA! The innocents will SUFFER FOR what they have done TO ME!"
Payout Line: "Ha hA Ha hA! Deoxys will STILL COME! he will be ANGRY at what has been DONE to his LANDS! he will CLEANSE the ISLAND!"
Post-Battle:
Roman: "Ha hA Ha hA!"
(Prometheus, Andromeda and Enel Lenena show up, as does Deoxys.)
Prometheus: "Deoxys!? Yes! It was a success! Andromeda, the Master Ball if you please!"
Andromeda: "...wait, brother. Now is not the time."
Roman: "Ha hA Ha Hrrrg!"
(Deoxys smacks Roman around a bit.)
Deoxys: "Find me atop this tower if you wish to try your power against mine."
(Deoxys returns to the SKY)
Prometheus: "Wait, Deoxys, come back! I just want to make you mine!"
Andromeda: "...farewell, Deoxys. I look forward to our next meeting."
Lenena: "Roman! Are you alright?"
Roman: "...ugh, my head... what happened?"
Andromeda: "...you lost to [Player] and blacked out."
Lenena: "Thank you, [Player], for your help. I'd offer you the Gold Tower Seal, but it's not mine to offer."
Roman: "But it is mine to offer. If this strange girl is telling the truth, then you deserve the Gold Seal... but I wish I could remember the battle..."
Andromeda: "...it is better that you not."
Roman: "Well, in any case, here is your Gold Tower Seal! Wear it with pride! And if you wish to battle me again, you know where to find me! Andromeda, Prometheus, we need to prepare for the next challenger!"
Prometheus: "But what about Deoxys?"
Roman: "What?"
Andromeda: "...it was fated to be this way. Deoxys does not like you anyway, Prometheus."
Its okay, Zeta, I forgive you; from the looks of your first submission I bet you have your hands full with the rest. Sorry I've been out this week but the submissions have been top notch. I'll have comments up sometime in the next few days, and I need to update the schedule as to when this round closes.
I'm thinking we might skip this round and move on; no one completed a submission so tomorrow we'll move on to the next round. I'm sorry I wasn't active this round, Valentine's Day is more like a week for me =P. I'll be on top of it next round.
Is it just me or does it seem more and more of the recent submissions include (if yes) and (if no) options now. I wonder who thought of that lol. I'm mainly posting to say i probably won't post any more submissions :(. Real life demands too much. But at least I made it in to the Elite 4.
Even though nothing of mine has made it in, I've come up with some good story ideas for Dariath League (if I ever get back to working on that) and I've definitely had fun so far!
Sorry I couldn't get one in guys, I was out for the past 4 days playing water polo down in L.A. :/ I'll be active this week though, so next round I can definitely produce something.
We're just gonna break until Sunday. I know that I have been absent for the last three days, but it couldn't be helped; I didn't even have enough time to get on a computer and type this up. Enjoy your break everyone, project starts up again on Sunday. (FYI it definitely will start Sunday, I already have the Opening Round + Poll typed up, all that's left are the Poll Results). See you all then
EDIT: People have been wondering about the Battle Tower in the game now. I'm debating between not including it and making one myself. I might skip it; one less thing to script.
========================================================= Poll =========================================================
Because no submissions were completed this round, there is no poll to be held. ========================================================= Results =========================================================
The long awaited results are in and we have our winner for the first round of the Battle Frontier. Congratulations to...Zeta Dimentio. Your submission was incredible, and will no doubt shape the quality of all submissions to come throughout the last three (!!) rounds. If you consistently produce work like that in these final rounds, you might make a clean sweep! ========================================================= Current Round =========================================================
The current round is Round 19: Battle Stadium. The following are the requirements.
Remember, the Frontier Brain and Frontier Trainers can have a "star" pokemon which exceeds the max level by 5.
Battle Style
Battle Frontier Trainers: All the trainers have the same style. A 3v3 Battle with no legendary pokemon allowed.
Battle Stadium: This Frontier Brain is a Standard 6v6 Battle.
Battle Conditions
Battle Stadium: In the Stadium you are offered 6 Random Rental Pokemon. You can either take the whole set or use 3 of the Rental Pokemon and use three of your own. Your pokemon are healed before each fight.
========================================================= Where to Find Information
=========================================================
I require pictures & competitive movesets (complete with EVs and Natures) in the Battle Frontier sections. Any post that lacks either of these will not be counted. Here is where you can find them:
Sprites
*pokemonelite2000 link removed* - This is the site I use for most pictures: you can get them quite fast.
www.smogon.com - Easy, quick access to competitive movesets. Search the pokemon's name and look for a moveset that fits the team.
www.serebii.com - If the pokemon has been featured under Pokemon of the Day, you can get competetive movesets about them.
Obviously, there are also competitive movesets to be found on Pokecommunity.
NOTE: I am not advertising these sites, I am providing links to them as they provide information that is relevant to what I am asking of people during the Elite 4 rounds.
ALSO, I would love to see people go beyond the slate if they can, do whatever you can think of. All of the gyms that were selected went above and beyond in some way, so think of a way you can.
============================================================== Schedule
==============================================================
The rounds for the Battle Frontier are 7 days long; the Frontier requires less than do the Rivals, thus a shorter time to do them. If anyone is in need of an extension, I will extend the round by 2 days, no longer. The following is the schedule we will follow unless an extension is needed.
February 1st - February 7th - Battle Factory February 8th - February 22th - Battle Tower February 22th - February 28th - Battle Stadium
March 1st - March 7th - Battle Palace
March 8th - March 14th - Battle Chateau
March 15th - A Look Back At The Project
Congratulation Zeta ! =) Alright time for the Battle Stadium Workout!!

Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 8 Spe
-Stealth Rock
-Meteor Mash
-Bullet Punch
-Explosion Metagross is one of the most reliable leads due to its great typing and defenses, and will almost guarantee that you get Stealth Rock up near the beginning of a match. With its great bulk, it is not OHKOed by Earthquake from the likes of Hippowdon and Swampert, and by running an Occa Berry, Metagross can survive in the face of Fire-types and live to hit them back.
Lv.100 Gyarados @ Leftovers (Pos: Sweeper) (Moveset: Bulky Dragon Dance) Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe -Dragon Dance

Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD -Gravity
-Dynamic Punch
-Will-O-Wisp
-Shadow Sneak Gravity is Dusknoir's biggest niche move. Not only is it the only Ghost Pokémon and one of the very few Pokémon that can use Gravity, but it can use it well, especially when Spikes and Toxic Spikes are set up. DynamicPunch is Dusknoir's main attacking move. Under Gravity, it has an 82% accuracy, and therefore a 82% chance to cause confusion backed up by 100 Base Power.
Note: I have to split this into two posts, it's more then 50,000 characters w/o the pictures, so Round 1 will be in this post, and Round 2 will be in the next. I will be finishing this, and maybe the other post, tomorrow. And yes, I used a random pokemon generator for this.
Round 1:
Spoiler:

Nathan: With these sixteen, we hope that one can get through to the next round. Now that this is out of the way, let's begin the competition!
(?)
Ichigo: Heh, these people are gathered in one spot. The fools. I can take them out in one swoop. However, I think I'll wait. After all, it'll be easier when they're tired, after all. Hehehe. I'm going to clean house.
(Battle Tournament)
Nathan: For this round, it's going to be a good fight! Welcome to the stage, Daniel Syryge, and (Name)!

Katie: Oh my Arceus!
(? Appears over Daniel and (Name's) heads)
Daniel: What's wrong?
Katie: Look at the fight!
(Stage)
Nicole: H-how? How... what are you? Wh-what's going on? Where am I? WAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! What happened!?
Nathan: What the hell is going on? What did you do, Brandon?
Brandon: … I beat her. That's all there is to it. She was weak. I was strong. I won, without losing a pokemon.
Nathan: Doctor! We need a doctor! Someone help this poor soul!
Brandon: She's just overreacting.
(Nathan walks up to Nicole.)
Nathan: Her heart rate is too high, we need to calm it down.
(Backstage)
Katie: I hope I don't have to fight him.
Daniel: That jerk! I'd oughta teach him a lesson or two!
?: Clear the hall!
(Two people come through, carrying Nicole out on a stretcher)
Daniel: I think I'm going to have a couple of words with the guy.
Katie: Daniel, no! (Turns to (Name)) Please, you have to beat him in battle.
Daniel: Feh, I won't let him do that to anyone else! (Name) won't even have to do anything!
(Brandon walks into the Backstage)
Daniel: Take this!
(Brandon steps out of the way, and Daniel hits the wall.)
Brandon: Too slow. Now, will you leave me alone? I want to prepare for my next match.
Daniel: How could you do that?
Brandon: Really, I don't care about what you have to say. She was weak. She doesn't belong in this world. My mission in life is to exterminate the weak, and I will do just that. (Faces (Name)) You too, are a weakling compared to me. Don't even get your hopes up.

Katie: No! Please, don't!
Brandon: I accept.
Nathan: Will (Name) please come out here? Your next match is beginning.

Nathan: What is going on back here!?
Brandon: I beat him in a fight. Now let me prepare for the next round.
Nathan: Oh no you don't! You put someone in the hospital, and it looks like someone else is going! You had a problem with this before, too. Brent told us to leave you be, but now, I have to take action.
Brandon: It's not my fault, really. These trainers are too weak to handle fighting me. If their hearts burst at my skill, then let them suffer. Really, no one cares about those that are as weak as these people. Only the strong will be noticed, and I am strong. The strong step on the weak, as they are only stepping stones. But me? I step on so-called strong people. Weak people have no place in this world.
Nathan: You're insane!
Brandon: Well, you could try to take me in, but if you do, then something terrible might happen to foreign relations with Sinnoh, me being the Ruler's son, and all.
Nathan: … Fine.
Katie: Please, please do something about this guy. I- I'm terrified.
Nathan: I wish I could, but he is threatening to throw our regions into war if he doesn't finish this tournament. If we arrest him, or disqualify him, then we risk a war with one of the most technologically advanced places on the planet.

Katie: I- I don't care! Please... I don't want to fight this guy!
Brandon: This girl is too weak. Just let her waste away in her own waste. Don't worry about her.
Official: What did you do to them?
Brandon: Nothing. I didn't do nothing to them.
Official: …
Brandon: You're coming with me.
(Brandon walks up to Katie)
[Katie bites Brandon's hand]
Brandon: Ow. That kind of hurt. Do you want to be gone without a chance to defend yourself?
Katie: Please... just leave me alone... please. [Sob.]
Brandon: I can't do that. (Begins to drag Katie towards the stage)
(Name) gets in the way, but Brandon and Katie disappear, before reappearing behind him.

Lv. 100 Vaporeon (Item: Leftovers)
Nature: Calm
Ability: Swift Swim
Sex: Female
Moves: Baton Pass, Acid Armor, Wish, Surf
EVs: 128 HP / 252 Def / 128 Spd
Brandon: You think you won, this is fact, but it isn't over yet. My own team is waiting for you. I am considered one of the best trainers in the world. I only have three of my pokemon, but I can still fight well. If you wish to survive, judge, then I would get off the stage.
Nathan: I think I should.
(Nathan walks off the stage)
Brandon: Foolish trainer, you wanted to stop me, yet you are afraid.
Brandon: You're.. not afraid. I see. Well, so be it. I'll be taking your soul anyway. After all, I could use another one for my collection. You see, I can trap spirits weaker then my own, and that is going to help me make a world of true power.
Brandon: Hmm... I don't think I will stop. If you win, I will release their souls. If you lose, well, your soul will be added to my collection.
Soul Stealer Brandon
Appearance: Brandon has short, messy gray hair, with glasses covering red eyes. His facial expression is one of absolute neutrality. He's wearing a red and black checkered flannel shirt, and blue pants. His battle pose is him standing there.
Brandon isn't an idiot, though it may seem like it with his choice in starter. It is meant to weed out the weaker pokemon without using his other pokemon's abilities. Mew, though it is an Uber, is the weakest member of the team by both level and moves. Its purpose is to pass off Rock Polish and Swords Dance to Garchomp, making it even stronger and faster then it already is. Garchomp is the final attacker, and with the boosts from Mew, can be a dangerous opponent.
Gengar: Gengar isn't a complete pushover, if you think about it. Shadow Ball is an 80 STAB move. While that isn't too powerful (120), it is still not to be laughed at. Substitute allows Gengar to place a body double while it charges up for a Focus Punch, and if it can't use Substitute, it can still use Hypnosis. Unless you have Sableye or Spiritomb, either the 120 or the 150 POW attack will hit you, and it will hit hard.
Mew: Mew will probably have the shortest section in this. Rock Polish increases speed quite a bit, Swords Dance greatly increases attack, Taunt prevents opponents from boosting their stats, via moves, and Baton Pass allows it to transfer its boosts to other pokemon.
Garchomp: Garchomp, with the boosts from Mew, is a threat. Outrage is a powerful STAB move that can go on for three turns. While Garchomp gets confused, it should be able to do the job. Earthquake takes its powerful Atk, and base 100, and STAB, making it 150, and tears the opponent apart. If the opponent is a flier, or an Ice type, then Stone Edge would be the best bet. The final move, Dragon Claw, also takes Garchomp's large attack into play, and can indeed tear some holes in some defenses.
Closing Words: … I lose.
Brandon: I can't believe it. I lost, twice. But... I don't keep my promises, boy/girl. Now, it's time to meet your fate.
(Flash)
Brandon: What? How can this be? I can't take his soul! What? What's going on!? AAAAHHHHH!
(Flash)
Brandon: N-no... MY SOULS! I- I have to get more! I need those souls! (Turns towards audience, waits for a few seconds) What? NO! I- I can't believe this! I'm going to die. And it's all your fault!
Nathan: What was that about?
Brandon: I was cursed by a pokemon, one that hides in another dimension. I have to... keep... soul...s on, m...e, o-or... I'll... die.
Nathan: So that was it, huh? Well, I guess you don't have to worry about it.
Brandon: No. I... d.o.n.'t. (Disappears)
Nathan: That closes the book on that chapter.
?: And yet another chapter begins! Ahahaha! Such a pity that fine young man couldn't join us.
Nathan: Ichigo. What are you doing here? You're outnumbered 24-1, you can't beat us all.
Ichigo: Oh, you'd be surprised what I can do to exhausted trainers. None of you have the power left in your pokemon, since all of your efforts were on saving Brandon's victims. There are only two people strong enough to fight, and you two aren't strong enough.
Nathan: Get out of here, Ichigo, or all of us will attack.
Ichigo: Oooh, I'm so scared. You all with no pokemon are going to attack me, who has fully healed pokemon that can slaughter any of yours anyway. Face it, currently, I'm untouchable.
Marcus: No, you're not.
Cody: Even if we all don't have pokemon, we can beat you up before you get your own pokemon out.
Phoenix: The odds are in our favor.
Ichigo: Maybe so, but... are they really? Or are they in our hands? None of you will ever know... will you? (Ichigo uses Escape Rope and escapes)
Nathan: Dang it! He got away! This has been one crazy day.
?: NATHAN! What the hell is going on here!?
Nathan: Is that you, Lord Hunter?
Hunter: Yes. Can't you see that I'm trying to get some SLEEP!?
Nathan: Well, um... we had an interruption from both the traitor, and a kid named Brandon.
Hunter: Whatever. Who's the twerp I have to fight?
Nathan: Umm... that would be (Name), over there.
Hunter: So, you are the champ? Hahaha! Wow, you look pathetic! I'll allow you to heal, since you look so sorry.
(Hero/ine gets pokemon healed)
Hunter: Now, let's see how you do.
Stadium Emperor Hunter
Appearance: Hunter is a man with spiky black hair and glasses. He is muscular and wears a red jacket with a gray shirt underneath, and dark blue pants. His pose is him smiling with his left hand holding a pokeball, and his right in his pocket.
Team
Lv. 110 Aerodactyl (Item: Focus Sash) (Pos: Lead) (Moveset: Lead)
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Pressure
Sex: Female
Moves: Stealth Rock, Taunt, Earthquake, Rock Slide
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Aerodactyl is the lead for this team, and it is there to both set up Stealth Rock, and to wear you down. It's Pressure ability allows it to wear down PP quicker, so watch for that. Blissey is the classic wall, but it can bite back with Seismic Toss, and doing 110 damage isn't something to sneeze at. It may not be the biggest loss, but it can be the difference between a knockout or survival. Gallade is a Sweeper. It's purpose is to sweep teams, and it is well armed to do so, especially with Swords Dance. Bronzong is another Wall designed to defend against attacks, and wear you down. It can also strike back, and lay out Stealth Rock. Azelf is there only to put up Reflect and Light Screen, taking itself out when it's done with what it needs to do. Salamence is there to sweep whatever is left on the field, and with 225 POW Draco Meteor, it can do some serious damage.
Aerodactyl: Aerodactyl is the first up, and it will do something. Its main thing is Stealth Rock, however, it also has Taunt, which will only have you do damaging moves. If this happens, then you can't raise stats without items. Earthquake is a powerful attack that can get rid of Electric Types, and Rock Slide takes down Ice types pretty well.
Blissey: Blissey is the standard Wish!Bliss that is in so many sets, including my own, but I'll still write out its own description. Wish allows it to recover 50% of its HP after a few turns, Protect allows it to block attacks, but it doesn't always work, Seismic Toss is there as a semi-dangerous attack that can do some damage to weaker pokemon, and Toxic is there to poison the opponent.
Gallade: Gallade is the first of two sweepers on this team. It starts off with Swords Dance to increase its attack, and it has a selection of three attacks when it's ready. STAB 120 (180) POW Close Combat is one, and with Gallade's modest attack score, it can do some damage. The second option is Ice Punch, to take care of threats from above, and other... more draconic threats. Psycho Cut is another STAB move, though I don't believe that it gains any special things from the Swords Dance.
Bronzong: Bronzong is another wall (No way) which is quite possibly one of the most annoying things on this team. It is the first member of the Eternal Trio. This thing will wall opponents quite well, actually. It has Stealth Rock in case the opponent spins away Aerodactyl's Stealth Rock, or if it didn't have the chance to use Stealth Rock. Gyro Ball hits the opponent harder the faster it is, which is helpful, Earthquake is a powerful move, and Explosion is there to take down any opponent who is on the verge of defeating it. Going down quietly is not something Bronzong likes to do.
Azelf: Azelf, the support member of the Eternal Trio. It's purpose is to build up defenses for Salamence, via placing up Reflect and Light Screen, Stealth Rock in case the other two couldn't lay them down for whatever reason, and Explosion is to clean up any mess left on the opponent's side. It is quite possibly the weakest member of the team, but it can still do something.
Salamence: The third and most powerful member of the Eternal Trio, and its sweeping member. Salamence is a powerful sweeper in the OU metagame, and this is one of the best move sets. Draco Meteor, 225 Power with STAB. That is ownage right there. Earthquake is a powerful Base 100 Attack that can take down threats, Flamethrower can take down Steel type threats such as Scizor or Skarmory, and Outrage is another powerful attack. It is quite possibly the strongest member of the team.
Closing Words: Ha! I lost! That was an amazing fight!
Hunter: Hahaha! That was amazing! I'm glad to have this position, to face the best of the best! Haha! It's so invigorating to face that! But be careful, this also gives an advantage to the others, because they will have studied and practiced, so you might have to face some steep opposition.
Hunter: But I know you'll win, I'm not known as the Stadium Emperor for nothing. I have confidence in you, kid. Maybe you and me fight again sometime, eh?
Nathan: And that's the end of that, now Round 4 shall begin tomorrow.
(???)
Ichigo: Heh, those fools don't even expect it. Soon enough, when this tournament is over... this island will belong to us. Hahaha! Jajajaja!
?: Next round, we will make our strike, sir.
Ichigo: No... don't. We will make it when the tournament is finished. Now get back to the tournament.
?: Yes, my lord.
Ichigo: Soon, we will rule.
(? (Looks like Torn World))
Brandon: Wh-where am I?
(Brandon looks around the area)
?: Oh, you don't recognize me?
Brandon: What? Wait... no... GET AWAY FROM ME!
?: Heh, it's too bad. You lost. Looks like only your soul can be used. Time to bring you back, eh?
Brandon: Please, I don't want an-
(Brandon disappears in a white sphere)
?: Heh...
I will post Round 2 after someone else posts, just in case.
Here goes my submission. I don't want to break Zeta's storyline, so (zeta try to e-mail me the overall plot if you can, it would help) I'll connect mine with it!
The Battle Stadium
Leader: Stadium Legend Benito
Round 1
(In a dark area, three figures are huddled under a dim light)
1: Why are we gathering here, of all places? I could just fly us over to my spa, you know...
2: Quiet! It's better for us to meet here because of what will be revealed. Now, silence! The boss is talking!
3: Gentlemen... I'm disappointed in the overall function of the Supremacy at this tournament. Our first two schemes have failed completely, all because of this Enel champion. We need to clear him out.
1: Boss, how do you suggest we do that?
3: The Supremacy has several branches, Layton. Since the Battle Stadium is open to all comers this time around, we can easily plant in some of my most powerful agents from Orre in the tournament to wipe (player's name) out.
2: Orre, Boss? You don't mean...
3: That is exactly what I mean, Spryton. I want you to go in as well as an honest Trainer. What we want to do is disqualify (player name) from the tournament so we don't have to lose to him completely. You'll know what to do when the time is right.
Spryton: Got it, boss. I'll head to the Stadium right away.
3: Very good. The two of you can go now. (3 walks into the shadows)
Layton: What did he mean by "You'll know what to do?"
Spryton: That's for me to find out. Take care of my branch while I'm at the Stadium. A few of them love Viridian Whisky a bit too much, and can cause problems at times. (Spryton leaves, and the screen fades to the player standing at the Battle Stadium entrance)
____________
(When the player attempts to walk into the Battle Stadium, a tall, buff man with red hair walks into the player.)
Man: Huh? Oh, sorry buddy, didn't see you there. Let me introduce myself. I am Dakun, a visitor from the Orre region? You haven't heard of it? We have some of the greatest technology in the entire world! Here, let me intrigue you with a piece of it. (Obtained the Arm Contraption!!) Don't worry, I have one of my own. You see, Orre has had two Shadow Pokemon crises in the past. This contraption was created to capture Shadow Pokemon and open the doors to their hearts. It really is pretty awesome, but really its now used for decorative purposes nowadays. Anyways, I need to be going now. There's a trainer inside that is just stomping everybody, and I need to heal my Pokemon. Take care, kid! (Man walks off)
(Player then walks inside)
Receptionist: Welcome to the Battle Stadium! Please show me your card so I can enter you in the challenge... Oh? You're (Username)? It's an honor to meet you! Anyways, since you are in the winners portion of the tournament, you can go right in. But first, would you like to substitute some of your Pokemon for some of our Rentals? You can replace 3.
(If the player picks 3)
Alright then, select the Pokemon you wish to swap... you can now pick from our selection of Rental Pokemon!Well, actually... our Rental Pokemon had to be swapped due to the banning of some of our old Rentals from the Frontier. Go ahead and pick some of the Battle Factory selections instead!
(If the player says no or when the Pokemon swapping is completed)
Alright then, go on in, (username), and good luck!
Description: Metagross comes to town as the standard Stealth Rock lead. It can be a great asset to those wishing to use offensive teams, setting up Stealth Rock early and capable of wiping out several threats with its immense power.
Description: Lead Swampert works great in OU, since it is capable of supporting both offensive and defensive teams thanks to its great defenses and typing. Several Pokemon in OU carry Hidden Power Grass just for this guy, which goes to show how important it can be to take down.
Description: Normally, Tyranitar's Speed is pretty poor. Equip it with a Choice Scarf, however, and Tyranitar becomes one of the most powerful revenge killers in the game. It also can catch several opponents off guard, since most Tyranitar are seen as Dragon Dance or Choice Banded/BaitTar.
Description: In the days of old DP, Garchomp was a fearsome sweeper. This set showcases that power, and works extremely well with Tyranitar on the team. Once Garchomp is safely behind a Substitute to prevent status, it can Swords Dance up to its content, then smash everything in site with either Outrage or Earthquake.
Thunderbolt
Flash Cannon
Hidden Power Fire
Explosion
Description: Magnezone is notorious for being one of the best revenge killers of Steel-types in the game, thanks to Magnet Pull, great Defense, and Magnet Pull. It can easily dispatch any Choiced Steel Pokemon locked into a resist move, and can even remove troubling Blissey with a powerful Explosion.
Jolteon @ Life Orb
Timid Nature- Volt Absorb- level 100
252 Spa/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP
Charge Beam
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power Grass
Shadow Ball
Description: With a powerful 110 base Special Attack and swift at base 130 Speed, Jolteon is very capable of taking out a great portion of the standard metagame. Charge Beam is used to boost Special Attack, while Hidden Power Grass makes this Jolteon a perfect lure for Swampert that think they can come in and wall Jolteon. Getting rid of Swampert can open up a physical or mixed sweeper that normally has troubles with Swampert.
Close Combat
Hidden Power Ice
Grass Knot
Fire Blast
Description: Infernape's Fighting-type and great movepool make it one of the best mixed sweepers in the metagame. Close Combat wrecks incoming Special walls and Tyranitar, and the remaining moves are used for coverage against other walls that Infernape can easily break, including Swampert, Gliscor, Foretress, and Hippowdon. Removing these can open up a physical sweeper to clean up a team.
Description: Salamence has been considered for Ubers because of this moveset, which brings nearly the entire metagame to its knees when played correctly. Anything that can take an Outrage or Draco Meteor is quickly decimated by Fire Blast or Earthquake, which Salamence can use effectively because of its high offensive stats and natural bulk. This Salamence actually pairs well with a mixed Infernape since they weaken each others' counters, and also enjoys the benefits it gets from a Magnezone killing Steel-types.
Description: This bulky Roserade was initally created by the genius known as Dark_Azelf. This Roserade is bulky enough to take a few hits, and can either Recover off the damage with the NaturalRest combo or use the opportunity to set up Spikes. If a team also does not like Toxic Spikes, Roserade can easily Absorb them. The common Rapid Spinners of OU also find it hard to come in on this set, as Forretress hates Hidden Power Fire, and Starmie is quickly killed by Energy Ball, allowing Roserade to set up Spikes again. However, Starmie can choose to Ice Beam Roserade, which is why something that can outspeed Starmie and kill it in one move makes a great choice to back up Roserade. An example is Choice Scarf Tyranitar.
Description: Rotom-H makes a great supporting Pokemon, thanks to its 3 immunities and several resists. Rotom-H is a notorious support Pokemon as well because of Discharge, which can paralyze Pokemon it can hit, crippling them for other sweepers to take advantage of, and Will-o-Wisp, which cripples physical attackers to the point where sweeping becomes very difficult. Rotom-H appreciates anything that can take out Tyranitar or Gengar, its two worst enemies. A Choiced Scarf Tyranitar can take out both with Crunch and Superpower, and a Jolteon and an Infernape combined can also wipe them both out.

Man: Want us to pull the trap now, boss?
Spryton: Save it for the tournament round, Blusix. Doing it now would be a waste. Besides, I'm sure your newest addition wants to rampage a little bit first.
Blusix: Got it,... (Turns and notices player staring at them, ! sign appears. Blusix walks up to player) Why are you looking at me like that? You have no idea who you're messing with, punk! (Marches off)

Razel: Let's... just pretend this never happened. (walks off)
Announcer: Over in the next square, we have Bodybuilder Douglas taking on Moby Jones!!
(Player walks out to the concession stand once again. There, he runs into Kamika)
Kamika: Ahhhh! It's the creeper!! What? What am I doing here? Simple! I heard that one of the trainers at this tournament had a Mew!! Once I find that trainer, I'm going to battle him for the Mew and take it from him!! Ahahahahaha! Now, get lost! (runs off)
Spryton (from a distance): Hmm... a Mew, eh? We'll see who gets to it first, lady. (walks off. Player walks back to battle area)

(Mario steps up once, but backs up for some reason.)

(Lloyd doesn't move)
Cooper: The fifth competitor is a man who has faced with the Mighty Regigigas and survived! Introducing, Edward Drake Landis!

Ezekiel: Fine. I'll break you free, I was going to do so anyway. Too bad that the higher ups are in another prison, eh Tora?
Tora: Shut up and break us out.
Ezekiel: Fine.

((Name) and Mario walk up on stage.)

Mario: Well, they are. My father is a Mario fanboy, as well as my mother! Not to mention that... never mind, I doubt anyone would like to hear the worst thing about them.
Cooper: Well, that's all fine and dandy, but we're in the middle of a tournament, if you don't mind. Let's begin!
Mario: Prepare to face... Super Mario. Heh.

(Backstage)
Mario: So, have you come to mock me, too?
Mario: Feh, it doesn't even matter. Go on with your life.
(Lloyd walks in)
Lloyd: You know, you shouldn't be so down on your parents. You know that they're still good people.
Mario: There we go, I was trying to avoid having to go into this.
Lloyd: Tough, where I come from, we have to deal with some of the worst problems. Famine, rape, murder. And I'm not from Orre, so get that out of your head. What they did isn't damning to Arceus. In olden times, before the War, there was a time where almost everything we thrive on was outlawed, and Arceusism, Mewism, and Giritanism were outlawed, and suppressed under other religions. At least you don't live in those times.
Mario: How do you even know?
Lloyd: … I'd rather not say.
Mario: Heh, it doesn't matter. No one likes us anyway. Oh well... hopefully I can redeem myself in front of everyone. Not like I'm going to get the chance.
(Katie and Leo walk in)
Leo: What's going on?
Lloyd: …
Mario: Nothing, Leo. Well, I'd better get out of here. Take the challenge next time, eh?
(Mario walks away, Lloyd turns to Katie)
Lloyd: Hm? It's you.
Leo: Hey, don't stare at her. What's your deal with her, anyway?
Lloyd: … Nothing. I'd better get going. My match is starting soon.
(Lloyd walks away, Leo looks at (Name))
Leo: Oh, it's you. Stay away from Katie, I don't trust you around her.
Katie: ...
(Phoenix walks in)
Phoenix: Kid, it's time for our match. Sorry, you two, but (Name) has to leave.
Leo: Feh, good riddance.
Katie: …
(Stage)
Cooper: With this match comes two of the top tiered members! We have, (Name), the slayer of Team Enel, and the Supremacies, and Connor, a powerful trainer who ran the Underground Criminals out of Goldenrod! Let's begin the fight!
Phoenix: Kid, the odds are against you. Nothing in your hand can save you. Fold your hand in defeat, or face my Royal Flush.

(Phoenix walks off stage)
Cooper: And the next, and last fight will be between the Enigma, Lloyd, and the Hero/ine, (Name)! Come on up, Lloyd!
(Lloyd walks up onto the stage)
Lloyd: So, you were my next opponent. Heh... this will be entertaining, won't it? Now... what do you say we make this interesting? After all, this will be the last match before... it... happens.
Cooper: Umm... let's begin! Final match! Champion (Name) vs. Enigma Lloyd!
Lloyd: Good luck, you'll need it.
Enigma Lloyd
Appearance: Lloyd has spiky black hair, but most of his body is hidden in his cloak. His eyes are brown. His battle pose is him looking at you.
Lloyd's team is similar to Brandon's, except he has a Wall first instead of a sweeper, and he focuses on speed passing. Hippowdon uses Stockpile to up its defenses, that's it's schtick. Ninjask's use is to just survive, then Baton Pass to Dragonite, who uses the speed boost to attack and sweep.
Hippowdon: Hippowdon's schtick is using Stockpile to raise defense, while using Roar to switch out pokemon, Slack Off to heal, and Earthquake to attack, if necessary. Its purpose is to wear you down so you can't fight off Dragonite.
Ninjask: Ninjask is the support character of this team. Its purpose is to give Dragonite speed, so it isn't as slow as it is. Protect and Substitute are there to allow it to survive and boost up speed over time, and X-Scissor is there to attack opponents if need be. Baton Pass is the main move in the set, allowing it to pass stat gains is the whole purpose of Ninjask to begin with.
Dragonite: Dragonite is the sweeper of the team. It Dragon Dances so that it can gain more attack, allowing its other moves to do more damage. Outrage is a 120 base POW STAB (180) POW attack, which is pretty good. Earthquake is good as well, being a 100 base POW attack. Fire Punch is there to take down pesky ice types that threaten it.
Lloyd: Heh, I lost? Well, congratulations, kid.
Cooper: And the winner is... (Name)!
Lloyd: 3... 2... 1...
(BOOM)!
Cooper: Wh-what was that?
((Name), Lloyd, and Cooper run to the back and see Katie, and Phoenix against the wall, with a meteor having punched through the wall.)
Cooper: What the heck?
Lloyd: Don't go near it! If you get too close, then it will attack! This creature likely attacked those two because they were too close. Check up on them, but don't get too close.
Phoenix: Urgh... i-it's a monster... I can't describe it. It defeated us handily. It... it didn't just counter my hand, it forced me to fold.
Katie: H-h-h-he's b-b-back...
Cooper: What?
?: So, you're still alive, (Name). Oh, it's been too long. I'm not even sure how I'm still here, but I am. My name is Brandon. You remember me from the first round. I lost my first body, and for some reason, I got trapped in this one.
Lloyd: You know him?
Cooper: I think I do. He's that hooligan from the Silver Symbol tournament that stole a bunch of contestant's souls.
Brandon: As I am now. My body is that of Deoxys. However, as my body becomes more powerful, I feel as though I am missing something. I don't even know what. Oh well, what better then to test my new powers on you. Will you even survive my power, I have to wonder about that myself. But you... you will all suffer right here, right now.
While Brandon doesn't have a full team of six, his team is still deadly. Like last time, except he has an actual lead, and an actual wall. Skarmory is there to set up Stealth Rock, while Snorlax walls against the opponent. Gengar sweeps with the Substitute and Focus Punch, or Hypnosis and Focus Punch, Mew transfers large stat boosts to Garchomp, who will proceed to sweep with its own attacks. Damn.
Skarmory: This creature's main thing is to set up Stealth Rock, but it can fight back as well. Brave bird is a powerful STAB attack that can deal some damage to opponents, Roost allows Skarmory to heal from attacks, or even recoil damage, at the cost of its flying type, Stealth Rock forces the opponent to take damage when a new pokemon hits the field, and Whirlwind returns pokemon to their pokeballs. Not the easiest pokemon to deal with.
Snorlax: A pain this creature is. It is a wall, and a status absorber as well. With Rest and Sleep Talk, Snorlax can recover HP without the negative of losing the ability to attack. Body Slam is an 80 POW STAB (120) attack, and with Snorlax's somewhat large attack, it will do damage. Then we have Earthquake, which is a base 100. It receives no STAB benefit, but it is powerful enough to deal quite a bit of damage.
The final move, Dragon Claw, also takes Garchomp's large attack into play, and can indeed tear some holes in some defences.
Brandon: I lost again. Tragic. Now, it seems as though I must attack myself. Prepare to die.
?: Excellent! This is something I didn't think I'd see!
Lloyd: Oh, look. It's the Supremacy.
?: Oh, why did you have to spoil the surprise.
(In walks Ezekiel, Melody, Blake and Tora)
Ezekiel: Yes, we're back. And we are more powerful then ever before. Heh, don't even think you'll beat us this time.
Cooper: Why are you here?
Ezekiel: I'm here to basically show myself to you all. We're back, and we're not going to lose. Hehehe... even little (Name) is no match for us now.
Melody: Prepare yourselves, because we're coming after you.
Blake: We're not here yet, we will be there soon, but for now, you'll have to deal with the holograms.
Tora: The moment we arrive. The. Island. Will. Sink.
(The four disappear)
Cooper: Well, walk right out of one problem, and into another. That's just great.
Lloyd: … It looks like my job is done.
Cooper: What!? But we need you! Stay around for a while longer, at least!
Lloyd: Sorry, but I lost. Losers are unable to 'stay around for a while longer.' So I must leave.
Cooper: …
Lloyd: But there will be someone else coming. He's not in the tournament, but he is our best agent, right up there with the leader of our little force. You'll know who he is.
(Lloyd walks away)
(?)
?: So, Brandon failed, eh? Well, I should have expected this. Oh well, he isn't the only creation of mine. Though I doubt the other will work for me, so it looks like I'm going to have to do this myself. Well then, I suppose I'll use those new people to my advantage.
?: I will not remain sealed. I want to be free. And I will.
?: Soon. Really soon, I will be free. Hehehe.
(Battle Frontier)
Cooper: Now, with that out of the way, we may conclude the final battle! We have... Champion (Name)! Who just saved us from Brandon again, a few minutes ago! Then we have Hunter, our Battle Stadium champion!
Hunter: Well, it's a pleasure to meet you again. I was getting bored without a real challenge. So this time, there is something special in store for us. The loser loses all of their money on hand. I have 20,000 poke on me right now, so if you win, you get 20,000. 40,000 if there's an amulet coin, since somehow it doubles it.
Hunter: Now, let's begin. I can't wait to begin.
Stadium Emperor Hunter
Appearance: Hunter is a man with spiky black hair and glasses. He is muscular and wears a red jacket with a gray shirt underneath, and dark blue pants. His pose is him smiling with his left hand holding a pokeball, and his right in his pocket.
Team:
Lv. 120 Gallade (Item: Focus Sash) (Pos: Anti-Lead) (Moveset: Anti-Lead)
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Steadfast
Sex: Male
Moves: Close Combat, Shadow Sneak, Taunt, Destiny Bond
EVs: 56 HP / 252 Atk / 200 Spd
This team is a little better off then the other one, with a lead Gallade to take down other leads, Celebi to boost its power, and give it to Lucario, who will proceed to shove the attacks down your throat. If it loses, then the Eternal Trio will emerge. Bronzong will wall you, and Azelf will prep the field for Salamence to come out and sweep.
Gallade: Gallade is an anti-lead who's job is to get rid of opposing leads. Close Combat is a powerful Base 120 STAB attack that can deal some intense damage, Shadow Sneak allows Gallade to attack with priority over almost anything, Taunt stops opponents from boosting stats, and Destiny Bond is its last ditch attempt to take down a pokemon with it.
Celebi: Celebi is not pure support like Brandon's Mew was, since it has attacks of its own. It's main deal is to Baton Pass Swords Dance boosts, but if needed, it can use the boosts for its own gain with Seed Bomb as its attacking move. It also has Recover to allow it to heal off damage if necessary.
Lucario: Lucario is the sweeper of the Secondary Trio. With attack boosts from Celebi, it doesn't need to wait in order to get to full power, when it's already there. Extremespeed allows it to go first. No exceptions. Close Combat is a STAB 120 (180) POW attack, and can do some decent damage. Crunch can take down pesky psychic pokemon, while Stone Edge takes on the fliers. Not the most balanced, but it is good enough to do damage.
Hunter: Whoa-ho! That was awesome! You definitely deserve the Gold Symbol! Take it, that battle was amazing.
Cooper: And that's that, folks! That ends the Battle Stadium! Now, if you may please, exit the building. The next round shall be in the Battle Palace, there's nothing else to be seen here.
Hunter: Heh, don't mind us, boy. Enjoy the rest of the tournament. It is, after all, one of the greatest I've seen, which is admittedly too few.
?: Sir Hunter, do you have a moment?
(Hunter turns towards the area behind him)
?: Hello, it's so nice to meet you, I am known as Drake. I was a member of this tournament, and I thought... maybe, juuust maybe you are inept at this job.
(Another man walks in)
?: Come on, Drake! Just kill him and take his pokemon. We don't care about his position.
Hunter: What's going on here? Who are you?
Drake: We are the criminal bounty hunters, Drake and Marcus. And the Supremacy put out a large bounty on your head, so we came to collect.
Marcus: And to take your pokemon for ourselves, heh.
Hunter: So, you're following the orders of a dead team. Heh, I knew you would be pathetic, but stupid? Well, I should have expected that. As a Frontier Brain, I have the power to make arrests. Even if you did beat me, there is still Brent.
Marcus: He's our next target. He can't handle our combined strength.
Drake: Now, are you going to surrender peacefully? Or will you fight? Because either way, you're going to die.
Hunter: Heh... you two are cocky. You kind of people piss me off. I could take you on myself, but my pokemon are unconscious.
(Katie and Leo walk in)
Leo: Stop right there, you two. You're not going to get away from us, and you can't accomplish your deed!
Drake: Heh... hehehehehahahaha... HAHAHAHA! You kids are hilarious! I have captured a GOD! And I can't be stopped. Marcus, prepare for battle!
Hunter: I don't think so. (Name), you and me. I want to see you battle with the same intensity as me.
Drake: Let's go!

Nature: Jolly
Ability: Drought
Sex: Genderless

EVs: 112 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def / 136 Spe
Strategy:
Marcus' Team
Spoiler:
Skarmory: Skarmory is Marcus' lead, and indeed it can be a pest. Spikes is there to damage pokemon as they come out, obviously. Brave Bird is there so Skarmory can hold its own against other pokemon, and with a STAB, it is quite powerful. Whirlwind is also somewhat of a problem, as it switches your pokemon out, which can be annoying.
Blissey: Aromatherapy is there to heal status effects on their teams, as well as on itself, allowing them to stay stronger for a while longer, Softboiled keeps Blissey in top shape allowing it to go on longer while Drake hammers on your teams, Flamethrower is there to attack opponents of a Steel or Grass type persuasion, and Toxic is there so it can whittle down more health quicker.
Flygon: Another supporter, and generally a pest. It uses Toxic to wear down opponents, and Roost is to heal himself, so that it wouldn't fall as easily. Earthquake is there as a STAB attack that can whittle down HP, and Fire Blast is another attack to drain health from the opponent while Toxic does its work.
Drake's Team
Spoiler:
Mamoswine: Mamoswine is Drake's Lead, and true to Drake's team, it is powerful. Earthquake is a powerful STAB attack that, complimented with Mamoswine's 130 Base Atk, would be pretty powerful. Ice Shard is another STAB attack to take down Grass and Flying types. Stone Edge exists on this team to take down Flyers, including Gyarados, and Superpower is to take down endurant threats like Blissey.
Scizor: With U-Turn, it deals some damage to the opponent, and might switch in Groudon if your pokemon is weak, so be weary of that, Bullet Punch is a STAB Steel move that gets priority. Superpower allows for heavy hits against endurant pokemon, much like Mamoswine's, so that too could be a problem. Pursuit is there to deal damage with incoming pokemon on either David or (Name), so that too may be a problem. He may not be the most powerful, but he is a threat.
Groudon: Another powerful sweeper, and quite possibly the most dangerous opponent in this fight. Groudon can already hit hard, and with Rock Polish, it can become faster, but it's still not done! If it can get up Swords Dance, it will be devastating. Earthquake is a STAB 100 Base Power attack, and with Groudon's high POW, it will do some damage. Stone Edge is there to devastate flying, ice, and fire type pokemon.
Drake: No! I-I had a god! How did I lose!?
Hunter: You want to know why you lost? Oh, I'll give you a reason. You suck! You two have to be some of the worst trainers ever!
Marcus: Boss, let's get out of here!
?: Oh no you don't.
(A cloaked figure walks in)
Hunter: Is that you, Lloyd?
Lloyd: Heh, so I was right. You two are here. Good work on taking these guys down. Okay, you two are coming with me.
Drake: Damn...
(After the three leave)
Leo: Maybe you're not such a bad person after all. Sorry for snapping at you earlier.
Hunter: Well, I feel like a fourth wheel in this mess, I'd better leave you to your own devices.
Leo: Not at all. Stay. I need to say something.
[Smack]
Leo: Why didn't you give Katie her soul back!? You are just a rotten piece of work, you know that!?
Hunter: Umm... you do realize that it was Brandon who did that, right?
Leo: I don't care. Let's go, Katie.
(The two walk away)
Cooper: Wow, that was... weird, eh? Anyway, now there is nothing to see. You may leave. Round three will commence, and at the end, there will be only ten!
Hunter: Good luck, kid. You'll need it if you want to win. You may be the number one seed, but don't count your eggs before they hatch. There are some tough people left, not to mention the Frontier Brains ahead.
Amazing submissions so far guys, keep 'em coming! Comments will be up Friday, so try and get something solid done that I can comment on by then. From what I've seen so far, it looks like the quality of this round is gonna be high. I'm hoping more people choose to submit today; if not, I will have to do some hardcore marketing of this project =P.
