OP is one of the very few who hasn't accepted that Pokemon has a terminal sickness called... The Simpson Syndrome.
It's a very strange syndrome that's been around for over 20 years. And probably ever since the 3rd or 4th Generation, Pokemon has caught the virus that produces the syndrome. One of the symptoms is conflicting time-lines, like how exactly one year passed by in the 3rd movie, and yet one year hasn't even passed by whilst the show has been going on for about 15 years.
I mean... just saying. Once a show displays the syndrome, you probably shouldn't make it so much srsbsns anymore.
