let's compare similar topics about two different Pokémon that came into play around the same time,
    first is mine
    https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=293832
    second is another member's
    https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=292584

    now let's compare posts:
    mine = 0
    another member's = 18

I've given feedback before that I feel I am being singled out on this forums... and now I have proof to back it up, I lost 0 - 18!!!

I feel people are reluctant to post on my topics because I admit I do have some pretty strange interests in Pokémon (like my physical attraction to Reshiram)... but I feel that I am being judged because my interests are different and not always mainstream. but everybody's unique... you shouldn't judge me because I have odd tastes in Pokémon... but I feel like I'm being just that!!!

it NORMALLY takes a *NEW* member to even make the first comment on my topic and my topic usually are only consists of new member posts. because they haven't seen my weird side

and I think also I'm being ignored because my sig suggests intimacy with a Pokémon... It's NOT breaking the rules!

please don't judge, single me out, or ignore my topics just because I'm different!

Their thread has been around for almost a month, and yours has been around less than six hours. It's isn't really fair to make a direct comparison.

then someone broke the rules and revived it!!!

it is not just about that thread... it's all of them!!!

It's because of how you present yourself in posts. You have every right to be unique but you should step back for a minute and compare your posts with other people's. You excessively use capital letters, exclamation marks, etc. in your posts which basically makes it sound like you're shouting at us all over the internet and that's... not something people will really want to reply to at all. I really think calming yourself down a bit and expressing yourself in a more collected manner in your posts would help you get more interest in them.

Regarding the Reshiram thing - you're right in that you aren't in violation of the rules and that it is alright to be unique but, on the other hand, you can probably see why some people would be uncomfortable with reading about how much you love it in every single post you make. Once again, I think you're presenting yourself in an unhelpful way there.

So yeah overall I'd say to be a bit less in-your-face in your posts and in showing your attraction to Reshiram. Just tone it down a bit and maybe you'll get some more replies.

Perhaps no one has anything to respond with to your topics. I don't know all the topics you're referring to, nor do I feel like checking them all, but don't you think you jumped to a pretty big conclusion too soon? I don't think people aren't responding because you're different. It's possible that no one has an interest in the threads you're posting or they haven't formulated a reply to them yet.

No one can force people to reply to your threads, unfortunately. As for those two particular threads, notice the difference in the first post. It's full of questions that people can use to jump off of. Also, it's a different Pokemon. Lucario is one of the most popular Pokemon in the franchise, and Lugia frankly isn't particularly popular, even with the acknowledgement that it is a legendary.

All that being said, even if there was someone telling you outright that they do not post in your threads specifically, there is nothing that anyone can do about it. No one can force people to post in your threads, and it's not disrespectful to choose not to post in a certain member's threads. Just because you are not breaking any rules does not entitle you to a certain amount of replies to your threads, unfortunately.

Maybe if you think you're being judged for your previous actions, make a new account? You obviously can't pretend to be someone else, but you also are under no obligation to announce to the world that you used to be justinrpg either, so you can make a fresh start.

I only use excessive exclamation marks in problem posts!!! not in normal discussion posts!!! and that's another, all my life I've grouped punctuation in threes on the internet... it is not shouting, it how it type...

IF I WERE SHOUTING, I'D TYPE LIKE THIS

Keep in mind Justin, this isn't about how you see yourself. It's about how other people see you. Just like people that speak English as a second language often put that at the end of their posts, because people will judge them negatively for incorrect grammar or spelling otherwise. They know that without the extra knowledge that English is not their first language, they will be seen a certain way. We know that that's why you type that way. Random members do not, so they can only go off of their impression of you.

ARE YOU CRAZY??? LOSE ALL MY POST COUNT AND CLAIMED POKÉMON??? I THINK NOT!!!

Maybe the post just doesn't attract some people and you just posted it like a few hours ago. Some people are still sleeping by the time you posted it and the time you made this thread. Just wait a bit and don't judge people based on your attraction to Reshiram. I HIGHLY doubt it has anything to do with it.

then you haven't seen my Pokémon x Human thread that got so out of hand with negative comments that it was locked... all I asked was are you ok with Pokémon x human, and the train jumped the rail, blew up and no survivors on that topic...

    But that wasn't your fault.

I don't know about others, but groups of 3 punctuation marks to me is read as an emphasis to what a person is saying. So ... to me means a long pause. !!! to me is another form of shouting. ??? starts to approach a hysterically asked question. So yeah, excessive punctuation are fairly problematic, especially used in everyday grammar. Why not just stick to one punctuation? It gets the point across without all the freakoutery associated to the multiple marks?

I second what Sydian said, some people just may not be interested in the threads you're posting. Remember that everyone has different interests, and there's no need to rage about it.

Using all-caps makes people think you are shouting, and if you tone it down you might make more friends and get better opinions when discussing.

    Wow, man... just, just... wow...

all I want to be seen as around here is a normal person, not some crazy person who wants to "love" a Pokémon... when people try to ignore me because of that, I feel I don't have a right to be who I am... so of course I'll yell...

    But that wasn't your fault.

I know that.. that was just an example of judgment...
