Hello folks, I'm creating a Pokémon Fire Red Rom Hack (Intended For Nuzlocking) and was wondering what the community's thoughts on PSS vs. No PSS are. I will be creating the game without PSS, but I was thinking about creating a PSS version afterward. Also, DM me if you're interested in playtesting in the future!

Well, the question would be whether you want less or more Pokémon to become useless.

No PSS mean sending Pokémon like Kingler, Hitmonchan, Flareon, Sneasel, Absol, and Crawdaunt to the trash bin, while making others like Gengar's Ghost type offensively useless, Breloom awful as a Grass type, Piloswine awful as Ice type, Gyarados as Water type, etc.

It can benefit certain Pokémon, like making Vaporeon OP because it's a Special tank and both its weaknesses come from Special attacks, or giving Typhlosion and Alakazam a Thunder Punch that runs on Special Attack, but generally speaking, no PSS does much more harm than good.
