I was reading the thread and I got curious.

It's Four points you can get and then it's a Perma-Ban?

Nine points until you get a 2 week ban.

Fifteen infraction points for a one month ban.

Eighteen infraction points for a three month ban.

    Twenty points for a perma-ban.

Just another question; sorry if this is dubbed "hijacking", but it's really the same idea xD and it'd be a bit unnecessary to make a whole new topic for something so similar.

I have an infraction at the moment - 3 points, given out in early April. Beside it is a red card. I'm just curious. In the Infraction Guidelines, there's a yellow card and a red card. I never received a yellow card before. What's the difference between both? Can you get an infraction that has a yellow card in your profile?

Yellow cards are warnings. They do not count towards your total for a ban.

If you have fifty yellow cards and only one red card, the red one is the only one that counts.

A yellow card actually carries no point value, it's just a warning posted to your account. Normally Mods only hand these out to newbies.

A yellow card is a warning. It simply means "You screwed up, but we're just giving you a slap on the wrist. Next time it'll be a real infraction." It's really up to the moderators' jurisdiction whether they give a yellow or red card, though in general most of the time you'll get a yellow card first. But it's not saying they can't jump straight to a red card - some mods are stricter than others and have less tolerance.

    Ah, okay.

So you can get handed a red card automatically without getting any yellow cards?

It was my first infraction ever on PC lol so I never saw a yellow card before o0!!

    [Edit]

Morkula answered my question before I asked it ):

Oh,It's quite confusing from my point of view.

Thanks for clearing it up for me,Klippy.

No problem. If you have any other questions, let me know.

Yep. It depends on the moderator, like Morkula said. But most of the mods know when a member is new and direct them to the rules or give them a yellow card and remind them to check the rules.
