Question: Question I Need To Be Answered

• I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you can if you're helping somebody, albeit I'm not really certain on this one.
 
It wouldn't be ok to post roms in your sig, or link to sites with roms. If it is...it shouldn't be, although I see no reason why it would.
The above post seems to imply that it is ok...I wouldn't reccomend posting links to such sites even to help people although you could add them on msn or whatnot?

-Sorry if my words aren't organised in the best possible way. I'm not really the best at that :P
 
I know my first question would be a great no-no, but I guess you misinterpreted the second question I had...
Lemme try and make it clearer this time around...

2. Is it okay, or is it not against the rules, if I put a website link in my signature, where in that website, it has a link towards a ROM? This means that the website has no ROMs there, but only a link towards that ROM...

No. Providing links to illegal content is against the rules, however you do it. You may be getting this confused with the rule that allows other forums to be advertised in Sigs, but nowhere else.

This one is questionable. You can't provide a link to Rom Websites, although you can't always avoid linking to sites where there may be a link to other, illegal sites. Basically, you can't link to a site, intending to provide users with Roms. Just tell people to find their own Roms.
