Questions about the number of threads in Progressing Hacks

So on the little info thingy to the right of the title, it says there are over 1,000 threads total. But when I click onto the forum, there are... Ehm... 42.

WHAT SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS NOW.

I'm pretty sure 42 isn't even close to a thousand.

There are indeed over 1000 threads in the Progressing Hacks, but it only shows one page of them. The other threads still exist, they just aren't shown.

This just means the other threads are inactive. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can change the "From The" field from "Last Month" to "Beginning" and then the forum will load all of the threads in that forum.

Bear in mind that the Progressing Hacks section has a thread revival limit, which I believe is 1 month. While you can look at threads that have been inactive for longer than this, please don't post in them.

This thread revival limit is why the older threads aren't shown by default.
