3rd Gen Quick breeding question in Fire red

    does anyone know if i can breed a growlith to have a thunder move from joltion?

    if someone does know can you please list the steps
     
    Ok the mother hands down its type (like the female is a pikachu the baby will be pichu.) the father hands down the moves. So do that it will work. PM me if it doesn't
     
    If I recall correctly, the father can pass down moves, but if it's a TM/HM, then the baby must be able to learn the TM/HM itself. In other words, an Eevee can hatch with the TM Shadow Ball. However, a male Pokemon cannot pass the move Thunder onto Eevee because Eevee can't learn Thunder itself. (That's a move it can't learn until it becomes a Jolteon, but because no Egg hatches into an evolved Pokemon like Jolteon, this is moot.)

    Besides, Growlithe can't learn Thunder either, so it can't pass the move down to anyone. If you meant Thunder Fang, then it still can't pass that down because Eevee can't learn it.
     
    joltion is the father and i want to pass down the TM shockwave so far i have 2 growliths with only bite and roar.

    is thier a certain lvl it has to get to first?
     
    Sorry, this is kinda off the subject, but can you breed in FR? How? You can't leave 2 Pokemon with the Daycare guy.
     
    You can't pass down Shock Wave to Growlithe no matter how much you try. Since Growlithe can't learn the TM naturally, no Pokemon will be able to pass down Shock Wave to Growlithe.

    Yes. If you have passed a move down successfully, then the newly born one will have it straight away.

    i know this next post is a off topic but i have a question about trading pokemon
    i have a blue version with mew on it and i want to trade it to fire red problem is i only have 1 GBA and 1 origenal GB with a link cable every time i try trading on the GB i says its reserved for 2 people via link anyone know how i can make this work?
     
    It won't work. You can't trade from 1st generation to the 3rd generation.

    R/B/Y can only trade with G/S/C and vice versa.
