For the National Dex, you have to see EVERY Pokemon, including Legends.
 
The only legends you must see include

Rotom
Manaphy
Uxie
Mesprit
Azelf
Giratina
Palkia
Dialga

In Diamond and Pearl,yes you do need the National Dex to migrate, because Pal Park does not open until after you Beat the Elite Four.

In Platinum you need it too.

Just to clarify, all that is needed to obtain the National Pokedex and unlock Pal Park is to complete the Sinnoh Pokedex. The Elite Four do not need to be defeated in order for this to occur. Most people simply say so because certain Pokemon cannot normally be seen without fighting the Elite Four and Cynthia, but trading for them prior to this works exactly as well.

I did know about the trading pre- National Dex, I just didn't about the Sinnoh Dex completion.

Trading for Pokemon is not the same as being able to use them. Any Pokemon can be traded for as soon as the game can actually trade. The only requirements that need to be met are those related to accessing Wi-Fi and the Union Room.
 
Not always. There are some restrictions on some Pokémon. And you just repeated what I said. I said when certain requirements are met, which is what you said here...

Hello

So I'm getting Platinum soon. (Use to have Diamond). I just wanted to know if there is anything different in this game besides the Wifi Plaza. Also this is my second post so I'd like to have a little shout out. Woot. Hope this game rocks.
 
HOw many proteins Will it take to max out my pokemons attack

Hey like the question asks what is the answer cause i got heaps of money and i mean heaps lol And I wanna do ev training but if i can do it faster why not So please answer my question
 
You can only use 10 of one of those items on a Pokemon in total, so the protein would only give you 100 Attack EVs. You'd need to train to get to the full 255.
 
How many levels do i need to get it to 100 or what lol thanks and is 10 protines the max ordo i still only train with pokemon that the give attack Ev
 
Each Protein gives +10 EVs in ATK.
You can ONLY raise EVs by +100 in this way, however.

The maximum amount of EVs you can have is 255 in any stat, but only 252 of them will work.

Summary: Use 10 Proteins to get 100 ATK EVs, then fight enemies for the remaining 152.
 
So say i train with shix do i have to fight 152 shinx and then what level will my attack reach full evs
 
EVs are not detemined by levels. They are determined by how many Pokemon you defeat and turn into tomato soup.
Shinx give +1 ATK EV per battle, so you would need a total of 10 Proteins and 152 Shinx defeated.
 
Yeah i know its not determind by level but i have fed my pokemon 10 Protines and im on level 2 now and my attack is still only 7 so why didnt it level up to 100 So when will all my evs in attack appear
