So I want to catch a Heatran in Platinum, and I have the National Dex and I have gone through and Charon got arrested, but when I returned there was no Heatran, can anyone enlighten me on a step I may have missed?

Breeding mistake?

I was playing Pt and i wanted to breed eevee so I could get all of the Eeveloutions. So I put my female eevee in with my male bunnery and I got an egg, and started to work on hatching it and around 5400 steps it starts to hatch, not the 8000 some steps for an eevee, and out comes a bunnery. What happened, you get female species and male moves. So what did I do wrong? Any help would be great.

This can't be possible. Check that the genders are right. The game is mechanized for this to just... no...

Here's a few explanations I made up

1. The allele for a bunnery is Dominant while an eevee is recessive meaning that you must have had a hetrozygous bunnery. -shot-

2. Bunnery looks pretty feminine even if it's a male so the game must have thought that is well and have a 50% male and 50% female one but it shows up as a male since the Y is dominant to X, which means that there was a 50% chance of getting a Bunnery egg. <--- fail

3. You might have got the genders wrong, the one pointing down is female and the one pointing up is male. -stabbed by NeroIV-

4. It's probably a simple game error

Female is ♀, male is ♂. You didn't mix up the symbols, did you?
Are you sure the egg you hatched was an egg from those parents? Sometimes I take an egg out of my PC, and it hatches into something completely different than what I expected...
Finally, you might have accidentally left a Ditto in there, instead of Eevee...

For your seventh badge? In my opinion it's the easiest gym battle in the game. All the Pokemon the gym leader has can be found in the Acuity Lakefront (except Abomasnow, who is the evolved form of Snorunt anyway). So just train there and you'll be well prepared.

Snorunt evolves into Glalie or Froslass not Abomasnow , snover is the one that evolves into abomasnow

Adamant would be best in my opinion!! because absol strength is in attack, so minimise sp attack and maximise attack :)

ok now a question please:

does anyone know if it is possible, with poffin eating, to "start again" ?? and take off the characteristics (beaty etc) I'm guessing no but I would like to know for sure

Don't worry about it just recheck that you have a male buneary and female eevee (btw female eevees are only 1 in 8 so quite rare - maybe yours was a male?)
put them in the daycare again

tip: eggs take less steps to hatch if you have a flame body ability pokemon like slugma or magcargo :)

Does anybody knows how you can level your pokemon fast up?
I am searching a long time for this.
I am not gonna do the daycare trick bcause that takes a lot time to do.
I want to make my Giratina grow to lvl. 60.

EASY!!!!????

Go to the Global Terminal and battle ALOTS of trainers their! That is the way I level up my Giratina FAST!

Hm, well I'm going to assume you have Platinum since you mentioned Giratina. Well...all I can say is battle the Elite4 over and over and if you get bored there, battle trainers with Pokemon LV50+ with the Exp. Share to gain lots of EXP.

After EV training, I go and battle the Elite four a billion times with the pokemon I want to level up in slot 1 and a couple of stronger (Like lv100) pokemon in the remaining slots of my party.

No I have never used AR on my game.

Ya i checked they are right I have an eevee with a ♂ next to its name and a buneary with a ♀ next to its name.

So what do you think I should do? I can try to breed them again and see what happens.

I have attached 2 pictures one of the eevee with the gender symbol and one of the buneary with the symbol. Sorry about the quality, i was using my web camera.

That Eevee is male. The ♂ symbol means male. You get the female Pokemon with the Male's egg moves, if I'm not mistaken.
