Quick Question and Answer Thread / Breeding Questions

What area has the highest-level wild pokemon? I'm just grinding...
Why not Battle the highest trainer, that your specific pokemon your training has advantages over? o.o Trainer pokemon give more exp, and you get money, and is more reliable.

IMO.

In terms of sheer level and excluding Resort Area Magikarp (because really now), Stark mountain has the highest level wild Pokemon with Pokemon going up to level 58.

Also VS Seeker, so yeah.

Cause you can't battle trainers endlessly I thought? Enlighten me on where to go.
Well as above thats where the highest Wild's are, you can use the VS Seeker to re-battle trainers as much as you want, Although it doesn't work in Buildings/Caves (Kinda stupid), And if you have platinum you can rebattle gym leaders after doing a few things. But just use the VS seeker next to some trainers you want to battle, if a "!" pops up, just talk to them to rebattle,if it doesn't work, you have to reuse the VS seeker.
The VS seeker it requires you to walk/bike 100 steps per use. (Really easy)

Hey
I have chained two shinys and they are both the same colour but just a bit brighter, how do the shinys become a completely different colour

A shiny Pokemon is a set color for that species of Pokemon. All they are is a different color Pokemon for example the only shiny for a Charmander is a Gold Charmander where as the normal color is a red one. Hope this helps answer your question

Cool. Looks like its a combo of wild + VS seeking for me. Thanks for the info.

ok thanks for your help mate

The ID is 50707, so it's from 2005. Pretty cool since my friend just gave it to me just to give me a power belt.
Old post, but looks like no one actuallly answered.
Yes, its a Tanabata Jirachi, it was given out at the Pokefesta events in Japan, but I am not sure if it was in a pokeball. Hope I helped!

Is there anywhere better than E4 to grind to 100? I figure probably not but I thought I'd ask.

I'm also wondering this, cause the E4 is mad boring. As I asked on the previous page, if you want high level wild Pokemon/trainers, Stark Mountain seems to be a good choice.

Yes, other than the Elite Four, Stark Mountain is a fine place to train to LV 100 as the pokémon level range is between 54-58 if I remember correctly. There is also the Fight Area to get to LV 100; the level range is also around the fifties. These two locations should give a good assistance, but as you grow stronger it gets harder. :[
Happy Training! :)
