Yeah i figured that out, instead of using stun spore or leech seed, I just kept using Mega Drain on meditite and won the battle. So i got the knuckle badge and I am off to slateport!

well, I don't think I'll reserve Abra for you until you get your emerald, and since someone's asked for it already, they're going to get it. Ask for a Pokemon when you get your Sapphire back.

If it's not breaking the rules, then of course you can! You didn't even have to ask. XD But, Charmander isn't one of the Pokemon on the list, which means that you could only use it for HM purposes, or to fill your dex. And you can't train it or anything. :x

I think I'll start this on Emerald as Treecko, I have a question though.
When I reach mauville can I take a detour and make another 3 treecko's by breeding? I've seen what happens when you try to have 1 Sceptile at the elite 4 :P
 
Okay. I'm bored so here's an update. Started Emerald earlier today. Forcefully struggled past Roxanne to get to Dewford so I could get my three Abras. Well, I'll skip from there to where I'm up to now. Just beat the 8th Gym, quite Easily. Now I'm on my way to Evergrande City
Now have three Alakazams
Alakazam Lvl 51

Well I got started on the Treecko monospecies challenge last night (for me):
-Soft reset to get a female treecko (hasty natured)
-Charged through the routes to roxanne (The twins wouldn't challenge me, lol)
-Cleaned up route 116 for some more experience to be ready for roxanne
-Threw Roxanne out the door until she pays her rent money with my evolved Grovyle
-Went to Dewford to catch a magikarp for HM Slaveness (gyarados) and to breed some treecko's (Dragon egg group)
-Lost to brawly :( at level 20
-Cleared the beach and beach house, and the oceanic museum
-Completed one battle tent run; slateport, idk why, got a crappy full heal :P
-Lost to the rival at level 24
-Grinded to level 29, smacked brawly up, 2 leaf bladed rival's combusken
-Defeated enough trainers on Route 117 to enable me to charge from verdanturf to mauville for breeding
-Placed Grovyle and Magikarp in the day care "The two don't seem to like each other."
-Got 3 Eggs, hatched 3 eggs, and got magikarp to high level 19 (9996 exp)
-Evolved magikarp to become Gyarados, future HM Slave
-Began the training of the three treeckos

Ok, havent updated for about a day, and Ive been busy watching the pokemon show (never seen it before). But all Ive done is cleared all the slateport beach trainers, defeated team aqua at the museum, and trained a bit, then easily beat may.

EDIT - 37 trainer fights and 1 rival fight from slateport to the point where you cannot continue until you fight wattson, that seems like a bit much... Oh and a little update, after all those fights, breloom is level 29 and shroomish is level 27.

-Obtained a meteorite after beating Maxie and getting praised by Archie (still weird to me)
-Abused soft resetting on the kecleon trainer to find out the hidden power elements of the 4 battlers
-Defeated Flannery with some major luck
-Trained to level 32 in the desert and obtained a Root Fossil
-Defeated Norman with surprise ease (Slaking used yawn when my pokemon was asleep :P)
-Captured Tropius as my 2nd hm slave

Well I am still stuck on flannery, i got so lucky the first time until my shroomish decoys were useless to lower its special attack when it uses over heat, it was holding white herb. So now im getting a third shroomish with hidden power water, gunna take a while to train him too. And ill need hidden power ice for winowa.

EDIT - Gah, im out, i accidently used VBAlink instead of VBA (emulators), so I couldnt continue after elite 4 because in game saves dont work for me on VBAlink.

Are you sure, because VBAlink saves work for me, meaning the ingame ones.

Oh yeah, I forgot about this. I defeated the Elite Four, and went on to the Battle Frontier. I continually battled my way through that one where you use the buildings Pokemon until I got 48 BP so that I could give one of my Alakazam's Fire Punch.
After that was done I battled Steven. It was a hard battle and I went through at least 20 Hyper Potions. But I finished the battle eventually. I'd post the team, but I continued playing after that battle and my Alakazam are on different levels now than what to they were there. But I had three Alakazam.
