Update #2:

-Battled all the trainers up to Petalburg city
-Wally caught Ralts
-Trained up a little bit more
-Battled everyone up to Rustboro & headed straight for the gym.
-Beat the gym trainers and faced Roxanne and won, earning the Stone badge.
-Got peeko back from the grunt for the old chap
-Got the letter to deliver to Steven
-Went to the old chap's house and we set sail for Dewford town
-Battled the gym trainers and faced Brawly, which was a hard battle but I eventually beat him, earning myself the Knuckle badge.

Next to catch Aron & onto Slatesport...

Great! I see a Charizard in my random team! :) Love vaporean too. But was the Charizard really randomised? I find it hard to believe I got exactly what I wanted...

Just got my charmander and beaten my rival, named blue.
Thinking about my team...kangaskhan is gonna be one tough one to get.

Update #3:

-Caught Aron, named him Zod, and grinded him up to level 16
-Got to Slatesport & battled all the trainers and got rid of team magma
-Did the trickmasters thing
-Caught Gulpin and called him Brainiac.
-Grinded the team for a while
-Battled May & won fairly easily
-Got to Maulville, got the bike and did Cycling road
-Grinded the team a bit more
-Battled the gym trainers & beat Wattson, earning myself the Dynamo badge.

Btw, is it okay if I sign up for another random team? Since I'm going on holiday on saturday, and I might finish this fairly early on so I need to be prepared, and If I don't get onto it on holiday, I'll put it on hold until I finish the Ruby one. ;) Anywho... If someone can generate another team:

i start my journey on fire red using emulator
-started new game,choose squirtle,he gonna be HM slave poor him
-after gary n oak event headed straight away to viridian forest to catch weedle n caterpie
-searching lvl 5(for easy leveling up bcoz i dun want exp sharing)caterpie n weedle took me a lot of time
-1st i caught caterpie n evolve it to butterfree
-2nd i caught weedle n while training it i found shiny caterpie lvl 3, lucky me
-bcoz i have shny caterpie i decided to use him
-weedle evolve to beedrill n start a exp sharing for shny caterpie

next to beat gary n 1st gym wish me luck

-after my shiny caterpie evolve to buterfree i beat gary with him alone. he simply awesome
-next i trained a little bit to face brock and caught spearow for fly
-then i beat brock. again i using only my shiny buterfree
-caught paras at mt moon, very weak one but ok for me i take as my challenge
-at curelean city i beat gary once gary using only my shiny buterfree
-then beat misty and caught meowth for item pickup
-currently on S.S Anne

-after i get the flute from mr fuji i straight ahead to catch venonat and caught one
-once i kinda lucky bcoz my meowth pickup TM10 when i try to catch venonat

I'm changing my game to Pokémon Silver for this run. I already have a challenge going on on Gold.

First Update:

Started the game, named myself Dude, chose Chikorita, named her Chi Chi (poor thing, it will be relegated to HM Slave class), and did the delivery quest, naming my rival Sweet along the way.
Traded over a Tauros Egg, since I don't wanna wait until I'm able to fish a Magikarp to start my team. Walked around until it hatched (spacebar, I love you), and named him Toro. Basically, beat everything around and in Violet City up with no trouble.

vs. Falkner

Skipped most trainers south of Violet, got the Old Rod, fished a female MagiKRAP (named her Big Momma), who leveled a little with the skipped trainers and the battles in the cave. Toro is a beast, he decimated everything that stood in our way.

vs.Bugsy

At this point, tragedy struck. I suddenly remembered that Sweet has a Gastly at this time, and my team is composed by a Tauros with only normal moves, and a Magikarp.
Enter the Grindfest. Now I have a level 20 Tauros, and a level 20 Gyarados, who chomped through Sweet's team.

Arrived at Goldenrod, skipped most trainers, caught a female Vulpix (no nickname). Traded over a male Stantler, bred them, got a Vulpix with Hypnosis and named Lily (it seemed right at the time xD).

Arrived at Ecruteak, beat the Kimono Girls, got Surf. Realized I couldn't use it without the Gym Badge, so I kicked Morty's ass with Big Momma's Bite (forgot to record the video, but it was like Bite, Bite, Bite, Bite, Bite xD). Went ahead and caught the Red Gyarados (named him Chaos). He is gonna replace Big Momma, sadly.
Backtracked to Union Cave, and caught Lapras (named her Tefnut). Kicked Sweet's ass again, and released the beasts.

Now I'm at Olivine City, about to swim to Cianwood.
