You may use them, but the new rules will be applied. Taillow and Duskull stay as they are.

-Started the adventure and picked Totodile
-Arrived at Violet City and quickly caught a Mareep, named it Anne Fross.
-Trained the Mareep until it learned ThunderShock and took down some of the trainers I purposely neglected for this reason
-Swept the Sprout Tower and Mareep reached level 14, close to level 15.
-Evolved Mareep outside of Violet City.
-Swept the gym with Flaaffy's Thundershock, Thunder Waved Pidgeotto to avoid Roost spamming.
-Caught a Hoppip outside of Violet City, named her Roihu (I have my reasons)
-Currently training Roihu inside Union Cave, it's quite a hassle.

- Helped out Birch with a Torchic he gave me
- Defeated May then birch gave me 5 pokeballs.
- Skipped as many trainers as possible
- Caught a Tailow after wasting 3 pokeballs
- Purchased 10 pokeballs and recieved a premierball
- Went back and defeated all the trainers i skipped
- Headed into Petalburg woods caught a Shroomish then defeated every trainer along the way.
- Battled Roxanne for a test and actually won.
- Saved then turned off.

Time for the second update.

-Roihu evolved into Skiploom
-Trained Roihu up to level 19 to join Anne.
-Togepi egg hatched
-Exited Union Cave
-Both Anne Fross and Roihu reached level 20.
-Spoke to Kurt to gain access to the Slowpoke Well
-Cleared out Team Rocket
-Took a moment to consider my HM Slaves.
-Deposited the Togepi.
-Withdrew Totodile for my first HM Slave (Will have Cut, Whirlpool, Surf and Waterfall). Will be included in the team sections from now on but won't level or see any use in battles.
-Entered the Gym and took down the Gym Trainers
-Took on Bugsy, Anne Fross took down each of his Pokemon.
-Defeated Silver.
-Saved for a break.
*EDITED*
-Entered Ilex Forest and retrieved the two Farfetch'd.
-Taught Cut to the Salva Saal
-Made it through Ilex Forest and tried to avoid the trainers on the next route.
-Got the Daycare Man, Lady and Lyra's PokeGear numbers.
-Entered Goldenrod City and got the bike.
-Left, avoided all but one trainer on the northern route and went to the National Park.
-Since it was Christmas Eve when I did this, I time traveled a day forward so I could take part in the Bug Catching Contest.
-Caught Venonat (Arcturus), didn't win the contest.
-Left and caught a Growlithe (Allucius)
-Leveled them up to an equal level with Anne Fross and Roihu before going back in time.
-Returned to Goldenrod City, got the Radio Card and went to the gym.
-Defeated Whitney without any trouble.
-Got the Squirtbottle and went to encounter Sudowoodo, defeated him.
-Arrived at Ekruteak City.
-Defeated the Grunt and obtained Surf
-Defeated Silver in the Burned Tower
-Challenged the gym and defeated Morty after a little hassle
-Saved.
-Continuing now, will update later if no one else has posted.

Day 1 - The Beginning:

-Got my starter Pokemon, Bulbasaur and nicknamed it BULBAPEDIA.
-Won my first Rival Battle against GARY.
-Headed off to Route 1, and received a free Potion.
-Arrived in Viridian City, and got Oak's Parcel.
-Returned back to Pallet Town, delivered Oak's Parcel to Professor Oak, and received a Pokedex and 5 Poke Balls.
-Received Town Map from Daisy.
-Returned back to Viridian City. On the way there, I caught my first Pokemon, a Rattata, and caught a Pidgey. (NOTE: Rattata is what I will be Trading to get Silcoon)
-Teala introduced me to the Wireless Club.
-Went over to the WiFi Trading Center.
-Saved my game and entered the Union Room.
-Offered my Rattata for a Silcoon.
-Cancelled trade, and left Union Room.
-Saved Game and Shut Down the Game.

Bulbapedia Lv. 7 (I might deposit this one on my PC and catch a Ponyta.)

Day 2 - Trade Failure and Viridian Forest

Previously: Attempted to Trade my Rattata for Silcoon, but it did not work, as I need to do something that is part of the after game.....
Today:
-Left the Pokemon Center in Viridian City.
-Did the questionnaire answering this: "Link Together With All" and was told about Mystery Gift.
-Bought 5 Poke Balls and 2 Potions at the Viridian Poke Mart.
-Found an extra Potion in Viridian City (In the secret area before you enter Route 22, go to where the Tree is, and press A on the Poke Ball. It holds a free Potion. In Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow, you have to press A on the Tree to get the Potion.)
-Was taught on how to catch Pokemon by the Old Man, and was given the Teachy TV.
-Departed from Viridian City. Entered Route 2. (NOTE: In Route 22, there is an optional Rival Battle against your Rival, but this is not required to beat the game. Route 22 is the last time you will fight your Rival, as he will become the Champion.)
-Left Route 2 and entered Viridian Forest.
-Got the following items at the Viridian Forest:
Potion(X2)
Poke Ball
Antidote
-Got a Pikachu (Will put this into my PC)
-Bubapedia won the first Trainer Battle with 4 HP left, and leveled up to Lv. 8.
-Escaped the Viridian Forest after so many random encounters, none of them are the Pokemon required for my team.
-Entered Route 2 again.
-Arrived at Pewter City.
-Healed up my team at the Pewter Pokemon Center.
-Deposited Rattata, Pidgey and Pikachu in the PC.
-Left the Pewter Pokemon Center.
-Entered the Pewter Gym.
-Bulbapedia leveled up to Lv. 9.
-Bulbapedia leveled up to Lv. 11 and learned Vine Whip.
-Saved Game and Turned it Off.

End of Day 2...
