Rarest card?

    I have a Charzard (will provide numbers and pic tonight) that is on a yellow holo background with nothing else on the picture.....is this a rare card and what is it worth? This card is mint and I have never seen another.
     
    Er...this is a forum about community questions ^_^;; please post your card things in the Pokemon Card forum please I know your new and everyone makes mistakes :)

    My rarest card.... humm... Dunno.
    I hate Rare Cards cuz probably 75% of'em are the ones we cant strategys XD
    I think my "rarest card" is a 1st Edition Holofoil Base Set Blastoise... Dunno...
     
    I think my rarest card might be my Ampharos ex. It's what a friend of mine calls "Broken". meaning it's so powerful it's almost unfair. It has a pokebody where whenever your opponent attaches an energy card, the pokemon they attached it to takes ten damage. Also, his attack Gigavolt does either seventy damage or forty plus paralysis. Now that is a good card!

    Ampharos ex is a really good card, a broken one.
    But ex cards are not so rare...
    (And I hate ex cards >_<)
     
    Well...I can't say I have a rarest card.
    Every EX is as rare as any other EX
    Every Holo is just as rare as any other holo.
    Though when it comes to Uncommons...a Steven's Advice (I've gotten...around 2 boxes worth of Hidden Legends via Winning Tournaments...and I've gotten about 7 Steven's Advice) can be "rarer" then a normal rare (I have like..4 Dark Celebi, and like..7 Gorebyss.)

    So cards are hard to determin which is rarer, especiall when card ratios make Uncommon cards rarer then most rare cards. XD

    But, if I had to pin a "rare" card out of my collection, I'd have to go with...my signed, Legendary Collection Gyarados, it was a gift from my friend Pam, she had it signed by the artist, who was at the 2003 World Championships that she attended. So it's a pretty "rare" card for me, since Gyardos pwns and it has some sentimental value behind it too.

    Other then that card, none of my cards are as rare as one another...since I buy cards (or win cards) by boxes or large amounts of packs, (I play competitively, so I always use or trade the cards. Not to mention the fact that I collect at least one card from each set.) It's hard to pin point a "rarest" card outta my set. ^^;

    Wow..I typed a lot..The card game is probably my biggest point of Pokemon. ^^;
     
    Very weird card, Dukester. I have a feeling that it is a fake. Where and how did you get it? I think you got ripped off. Holo Charizard cards don't have backgrounds like that. Also, the one there with the weird background by the looks of it has Charmander as the form before it in the upper-left corner, when it should be a Charmeleon, like in the card next to it.

    For my rarest card, it would probably be my Shining Mewtwo from Neo Destiny. I think my Mewtwo ex is pretty rare too. I have an Ampharos card too, but I think it's usless. It's nowhere near to being "broken". It's attack misses half of the time. If you flip tails, you do no damage, and your Ampharos ex gets Paralyzed.
     
    Thats what I think the yellow charizard is a fake if you look at the colors they are very diffrent.

    Dang, what ampharos ex are YOu using?! Mine is in my hand right now and it reads as follows:

    Ampharos ex 150hp
    Poke-Body: Conductivity. As long as ampharos ex is in play, whenever your opponent attaches an Energy card to his or her pokemon from hand, put 1 damage counter on that pokemon. You can't put more than one damage counter even if there are more than 1 ampharos ex in play.

    Electric, colorless, colorless. Gigavolt 40+

    Flip a coin. If heads This attack does 40 damage plus 30 more damage. If tails, the Defending pokemon is now paralyzed.

    Like I said, that is one broken card. Either serious damage ar a good chunk of damage plus parlysis. It can't get much better than that. And as a matter of fact, I have two of him. This guy is my best card and i intend to use him.

    I would have to agree with you but with the exception of the pic in the upper-left, they are identical.....the photo is with the card in a hardcase.

    I purchased both cards at the same stall in sealed boxes.

    Other noted differences:

    The pic in the lower left on the common holo has a pokeball with a 2 around it. The odd one does not have a pic there.

    The numbering on the cards is different....the common holo is 4/130 where the odd one is 4/102

    That's what is confusing me. I do have some other holo's that aren't very common either.....

    BTW.....what does the "EX" stand for when you guys are discussing some of the cards......
