Every Game has its share of Rare Pokemon which are very hard to find in the Wild, because of their low appearance rates.

So which Pokemon has been the hardest for you to find & in which Game?

    Pika Pika :chu:

I am currently having an incredibly hard time finding Plusle in the wild on my OR. I want to fill out my Dex Nav, but I can't seem to find a Plusle, and I know it's there because I see it's little silhouette on the Dex Nav... so frustrating.

The roaming beast(s) Raikou/Entei/Suicune in FR/LG. I'd spend hours looking for them, before I could find them. Not had any problems with any other roaming Legendaries.

I find myself hard to find Nosepass back then while I'm on the journey in RSE, I haven't met every single one of them in the wild there. The only time I met it was when I was battling Roxanne. It's even rarer than Surksit or Skitty were, in my opinion.

It's the same for me, even though it's Minun in my case, since I'm playing Alpha Sapphire.

Without a doubt the rarest Pokemon I've searched for is Dragonair in the Safari Zone in FireRed. It has a 1% appearance rate and after that you have to try and get it not to run away, it has a 45% catch rate to make up for it but I spent a good couple of hours trying to find one...

    Feebas for sure in DPP!!
I remember fishing for hours for one in Mt. Coronet then finding out that there's only 4 random tiles Feebas can be found that day and it's not even guaranteed you'll get a Feebas from that one tile

    Female combee in W2.
It's got a low encounter rate, and females are very rare. Vepsiquen can be found in rustling grass, but Audino encounter rate man :(

Chimecho and Nosepass in R/S/E. Feebas was really hard to catch too, but I managed to find one in Sapphire back then.

And Tauros in the safari zones of both gen 1 and 3.

Probably trying to find a Chansey in Kanto's Safari Zone. Its appearance rate is already so low that trying to catch one when it finally does pop out, usually drives me up the wall. But the desire is real. I always try to encounter and capture a Chansey with every playthrough.

I'm pretty sure it's about impossible to find Munchlax from honey trees. Maybe I just believed an urban legend...

    This is very true!

But for me, Feebas was pretty awful.

Female Combee in the D/P/Plt or Munchlax in the same games. Not going to count Feebas in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald because I didn't even want to try looking for it when I found out what the method was.

Feebas in R/S/E no doubt. Spent hooours looking for the correct tiles back when I played. However, I ended up finding one after around 8 hours of searching iirc, and I did indeed catch the Feebas! Sooo worth it omg. Not doing that again ever. x'D

It took me forever to find a Munchlax in Platinum. I think it can appear on certain honey trees depending on your Trainer ID. Very glad I spent the time to get one though and I still have the Snorlax on my ORAS.
