I've been using this Gen V team in Pokemon Online over several days. I've won some matches, and lost some matches. Anyway, here's the team:
Nattorei
-Stealth Rock
-Gyro Ball
-Power Whip
-Spikes
Nature: Relaxed
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP/80 Atk/176 Def
Thanks to its typing and bulk, Nattorei can take a hit and set up a layer of Stealth Rock and a few layers of Spikes. Once Nattorei has done its job, or is Taunted by the opponent, I can fall back to Gyro ball or Power Whip for STAB.
Doryuuzu
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Rapid Spin
-Swords Dance
Nature: Jolly
Item: Balloon
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Ability: Mold Breaker
My Rapid Spinner, designed to clear away entry hazards. Swords Dance increases Doryuuzu's power and Earthquake and Rock Slide provide good coverage together (I wish Doryuuzu got Stone Edge...). I opted for Mold Breaker over Sand Throw because I don't have Sandstorm support.
Shinpora
-Psycho Shock
-Air Slash
-Hidden Power (Fighting)
-Roost
Nature: Timid
Item: Life Orb
EVs: 40 HP/252 SAtk/216 Spe
Ability: Magic Guard
Ended up replacing Urugamoth with this. Psycho Shock and Air Slash provide STAB (the former is a way to hit Blissey); HP (Fighting) lets it deal with Rocks and Steels and Roost is for recovery. Magic Guard is for avoiding Sandstorm damage and Life Orb recoil.
Sazandora
-U-Turn
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Surf
Nature: Timid
Item: Choice Scarf
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
The revenge killer that comes in after someone in my team dies. It can use one of its 4 moves to try to dispatch the opponent; once it does, it either stays in to damage the next switch in (if the switch in doesn't resist the move it picked), or leaves the battle for another revenge kill. Added U-turn for scouting.
Burungeru
-Boiling Water
-Taunt
-Recover
-Toxic
Nature: Calm
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP/80 Def/176 SDef
Ability: Water Absorb
This jellyfish ghost serves as my spin blocker (with its typing) and status spreader (with Boiling Water and Toxic). Taunt prevents set ups; Recover lets it regain HP.
Roopushin
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Payback
-Mach Punch
Nature: Adamant
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 216 HP/252 Atk/40 SDef
Ability: Iron Fist
Originally: The standard Roopushin (according to Smogon). Taunt allows it to break stall by forcing walls to attack. Force Palm provides paralysis support (albeit unreliably). Payback and Stone Edge let Roopushin take out Ghosts, Psychics and Fliers. I'm also not sure if I should make it a Bulk Up set with Mach Punch/Drain Punch/Payback or Stone Edge. Thoughts?
Now: Roopushin is the Sub-Puncher. Substitute + Focus Punch is one of the most famous combinations; Payback lets it deal with Ghosts and Psychics and Mach Punch is for priority.
I tried this team, and like I said, it's won some, and it's lost some. But, it tends to struggle against rain teams, as well as Sand Throw Doryuuzu. This is why I want to get some suggestions on how to improve this team. And, while you're making suggestions on who to replace (if you are intending to replace any of the team members, make sure it's Gen V only because I want to test out the Gen V Pokemon exclusively.
Thanks for reading.
