I guess it's ok, though maybe not the best. I like cbmence rather than ddmence.
    Salamence@Choice Band
    Nature: [Adamant]
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    Brick Break
    HP Flying
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
If you still want to keep your Salamence with that moveset, then I suggest to put more EVs into speed because it's much better as a sweeper.
Well, hope this helps and good luck.

Yes, Fire Blast should not be given to Salamence, but don't give it Aerial Ace either, because even with getting Stab, Brick Break has still more attack power and is super effective against more types than Aerial Ace.
Btw, I've just remembered seeing a special mence. It was something like this:
Salamence@? - probably Leftovers or Lum Berry. can't remember...
    Nature: [Modest]
    EVs: 252 sp.attack 252 speed 6 HP or sp.defense
    Flamethrower
    HP Grass
    Hydro Pump
    Dragon Claw
Though I still think, that: physical mence > special one
Trying to use a Salamence as a mixed sweeper won't work, because there won't be either enough EVs in speed or in one of the attacks. You can keep Dragon Dance, but it can be OHKO-ed with Ice Beam while it tries to boost attack and speed. That's why a physical sweeper cbmence is better.
It won't need so much EVs in HP anyway :/ ... because it doesn't work as a tank either...

60*1.5= 90 and 90>75 so after STAB aerial Ace is hitting harder

Fighting is super effective against: Rock, Steel, Normal, Ice (lol), dark

against all of those types it will have a base power of 150, but, for Rock and Steel earthquake does a better job as it will have 200 base power against those types. Rock slide hits the ice types just as hard and hits flying types hard. Normal and Dark are both hit neutral effectively by both of thsoe moves. Aerial Ace is required to hit the grass, bug types that resist earthquake, and the fighting types that resist rock slide. A super effective aerial ace has a base power of 180 easily beating out brick break.

except most things that use light screen have a resistance to fighting anyway such as claydol, alakazam, zapdos, and Girafarig.

Yes, destroying reflect could be useful.

    so is your arguement:
Use brick break for the 1/1000 chance that you will need it

    cause that is quite lol

That's fine imo. Fire Blast is useful for the 2hko on Skarm but I doubt you'll be battling many, if any. Only use Choice Band with the BB/RS/AA/EQ set, and Leftovers for the Dragon Dancing one.

Try this (if it hasn't already been sugested):

    Salamence@Lefties
    EVs:252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    Nature:Adamant
    Dragon Dance
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    HP [Flying]

I like HP [Flying]>Aerial Ace, it beats both Brick Break, and Aerial Ace.
    :D

IIRC 143 sp.def lets u survive nonstabbed icebeams of less than 220 sp.atk

You know, EV training is almost as tedious. I was stating thruth, that HP [Flying] is in fact better.:\
Obv this pokemon is in game, so I don't really know how we're going to be getting an HP flying that is better than Aerial Ace w/o forcing this user to develop OCD.

we use flamethrower since it is more accurate

it still OHKO's forry, and 2HKO's skarm

if his salamence had a non -SpAtk nature it still wouldn't have been able to OHKO skarm with fire blast

Adamant is not a good nature for Salamence. Salamence is designed to be a mixed sweeper or a D Dancer.
    Natures to avoid for Salamence:
    Adamant
    Brave
    Bold
    Impish
    Relaxed
    Modest
    Quiet
    Calm
    Careful
    Sassy
    Timid
    Jolly

Lonely, Naughty, Mild, Rash, Hasty, or Naive are the best natures for Salamence(ATK/SA/SPD+, DEF/SD-)

Actually, Adamant sucks more than any -- it blocks Salamence's necessary Self-cover (Flamethrower-self cover vs Ice)

If you insist on using Adamant, try this
    D Dance
    AA
    Brick Break
    Dbl Edge

A Phy sweeper to take what little advantage you can from Adamant nature.

For an item, Scope Lens maybe?
From my simulations, Scope Lens>Choice Band. Scope Lens increases Critical Hit ratio. CB prevents you from using three of your moves with a power boost for the fourth.

Adamant is actally the best nature for a DDmence. more attack is never a bad thing.

Flamethrower is for One-Hit-KOing Forretress and maybe Scizor, and 2-Hit-KOing Skarmory, Steelix, and maybe Weezing. it does all that despite adamant nature.(maybe not Scizor/Weezing, but anyway...)

most users of Ice moves are Water type/Blissey anyway.

If you insist on using Adamant, try this
    D Dance
    AA
    Brick Break
    Dbl Edge

not Earthquake and Rock slide? those are some great physical moves.

For an item, Scope Lens maybe?

    Leftovers, actually. it's universal.

From my simulations, Scope Lens>Choice Band. Scope Lens increases Critical Hit ratio. CB prevents you from using three of your moves with a power boost for the fourth.

you One-Hit-Ko something with a CB'd attack, then switch out, and back in to OHKO something else, with possibly a different move.

but I like DDmence better anyway.

~not all ice moves come from ice pokemon, it is possible for a non ice type pokemon to have ice beam which makes our "self cover" useless

~flamethrower is on the set to beat skarmory and other physical walls

~Choice band boosts your over all attack by 1.5x

~With an adamant nature you get way more attack power and still 2HKO physical walls.
