This is most likely going to be my team when I get emrald. I'm litterally editing it as I type this out. For reference: I choose Pokemon based on their DEFENSIVE properties, because normally, Pokemon can learn upto 200 or so moves. I'll also describe why I chose that pokemon in paticular.
    Kingdra
    Type: Water Dragon
Why I chose it: Its 2 types cancel out eachother's weaknesses and enhance its fire type resistance and its water type resistance. So all I really need to worry about is its Dragon-Type weakness. Plus, it's pretty fast.
    Moves:
Dragon Dance (need at least 1 support move on each Pokemon)
    Surf
Dragon Claw (or some othe powerful Dragon Move)
    Ice Beam
    Item: Nevermeltice
    Metagross
    Type: Steel Psychic
Why I chose it: Even though it's slow, it's other attributes are balancing him out. Thanks to its Steel type, all of the Psychic type's weaknesses are cancelled out while its Psychic type cancels out it's fighting weakness. It only has 2 weaknesses (fire and ground) which aren't that critical any way, and it has all the resistances of the steel type (his psychic resistance is doubled)
    Moves:
    Psychic
    Meteor Smash
    Calm Mind
    Metal Claw
    Item: Bent Spoon
    Ampharos
    Type: Electric
Why I chose it: Chosing him was actually quite hard. I like to have a water, a fire, a grass and an electric pokemon at hand without doubling types or picking legendaries. I chose Ampharos based on its stats. Othe then its speed, it is the best electric type out of all of them (I actually had the pokemon.com pokedex up in helping to determine him).
Moves (Ever since my secong game on silver I have pretty much been teaching the same moves to Ampharos with 1 exception, instead of Thunder Bolt, he would've known flash):
    Thunder
    Thunder Punch
    Thunder Bolt
    Headbutt
Item: Magnet, Pink bow or Polka-dot bow
    Cradily
    Type: Grass Rock
Why I chose it: The only 2 things I don't like about it; It's stats are too average, but in comparison to Tropius, some might disagree. Another thing is the Ice type becomes a major weakness, but that's a risk to take. Other then that, rock/grass make a good combonation. Most of everything is cancelled out except for a few weaknesses (Bug, Steel, Fighting and the previously mentioned Ice). Other then that, it's pretty much the best grass type there is without doubling up types.
    Moves:
Solar Beam (there's a reason it's not combined with Sunny Day)
    Sleep Powder
    Rock Slide
    Giga Drain
    Item: Hard Stone
    Houndoom
    Type: Fire Dark
Why I chose it: It adds 2 weaknesses onto fire's current count of 3. It also balances out the Bug type disadvantage of the dark side. It also adds on 3 resistances. It's weakness count is at 5, which is considerably low, and I wouldn't be stupid enough to fight Pokemon that could learn moves of that type anyway. It's got 6 resistances and one super resistance (Psychic). It's also one of those quick-strike (high speed and attack, low defense) pokemon.
    Moves:
Sunny Day (opponents last pokemon is a water type, you get first blow, use sunny day and when your opponent defeats you switch to Cradily, assuming you have him, and use solar beam)
    Flamethrower
    Crunch
    Fire Blast
    Item: Blackglasses
    Crobat
    Type Flying Poison
Why I chose it: Hmm... Very strong against the grass type, figthing type and the bug type. It only has 4 weaknesses, which isn't that bad, and they're not that major either. And, finally, most of his stats are around the average level except speed which is above average, extremely above average...
    Moves:
    Wing Attack
    Bite
    Confuse Ray
    Fly
    Item: Sharp Beak

    MMMMMMMMmmmmmm.........
    Pretty good....
    7/10.
but you need stronger pokemon for offence.

Kingdra can't get Dragon Claw, HP Dragon is as close as you'll get.

    10% hold items suck.

If Kingdra can get Agility it'll suit your set better than Dragon Dance, or perhaps consider Rain Dance > Dragon Dance.

No such move as Meteor Smash, it's Meteor Mash, also Metagross has better Attack than Special Attack so go with something like Meteor Mash/Earthquake/Sludge Bomb/Agility

Ampharos has 3 moves that do the same thing, so go with Thunderbolt/Substitute/Focus Punch/HP Ice (Since you are in-game, go with Thunder Wave)

Your Sunny Houndoom > Solar Cradily seems way to specific and stupid, so ditch Solar Beam for Barrier.

For Houndoom try something like Fire Blast or Flamethrower/Crunch or Pursuit/Substitute/Reversal.
He don't need both Flamethrower AND Fire Blast.

Crobats set don't look to great, consider something like Sludge Bomb/HP Flying or Aerial Ace/Confuse Ray/Something else, maybe Snatch for fun.

    Or that.

There's also that Chaos Black thing up there lol.

Seems more like Chaos isn't a unique nickname.

    Neither is mine though.

    DO NOT USE FLY!!!

    Aerial Ace
    Confuse Ray
    Toxic
    Sludge Bomb
    Item: Leftovers/Lum Berry

confuse ray, toxic and haze are pointless on him IMO
he has 130 sp and 90 Att
    perfect for a physical sweeper
abuse that instead of going a annoying route

Crobat has the defenses to pull of being a Hazer/Annoyer (...) but he does have better Speed and Attack and that should be where his moves run off, not just running off "no stat" like Haze and stuff.

That, and the fact he is weak to some very common elements, he is weak to Psychic/Ice/Rock/Electric, maybe more, that's off the top of my head.

Psychic is used frequently enough to pose a threat, all Alakazam's have it, and so does Espeon, no threat in it being a Hidden Power though, as nothing uses HP Psychic.

Ice is a major weak for him, as Ice Beam makes up the other half of Boltbeam, and alot of things carry an Ice move on them, with Hidden Power Ice being the most common way bar Ice Beam of utilizing it.

Electric is a threat, as a fair few pokemon use Thunderbolt as a main move, and it makes up the BOLT in BOLTbeam.

Rock is yet another massive element which he is weak to, not good, any pokemon that learns Rock Slide WILL have it on them, or Hidden Power Rock, not to mention that Hidden Power Rock is an alternative on Fighters to Hidden Power Ghost and thus Crobat has to watch out for it.

If you ask me Crobat has to many weaknesses which are a huge part of the game right now and is no use in using.

    ESPECIALLY as an annoyer.

    Or not.

Crobat can pull off being an ordinary attacker with ease, base 90 attack is nothing to say "sucks" about.

When he has a CB he is easily predicted, which kinda loses out on the whole extra power thing, especially when he relies on a move that is ****ed over by two different types.
