The simplicity works nicely, it is quite pleasing to look at. And the Shaymin is very cute. It is not flashy, and it still looks good, which is not the easiest task to accomplish. I must say, I have no complaints.

It's set out nicely, but apart of that collab so... 5/10.
 
The gradients are good, except for the one at the top whichs borders have disappeared in shrinking, you should add them. A little pixelly on the transitions between backgrounds. The backgrounds are fine, but don't match the images well, you could go with a pixel art one or an anime style instead. 7/10
 
Fan-games with interesting dialogue are win.
