Once, a player put my Torterra to sleep. Then used Dream Eater, only for Torrterra to wake up on the same turn. Long story short, it ended in a 6-0, my win.

No..... Dream eater = Fail. Remove it now. You'll get laughed at if your opponent it remotely competent and knows what he or she is doing.

Really they can just switch out =/

Good point.

That or if you try to do it to another pokemon, they could switch in something with a permanent status such burn or paralysis.

Another god point

Yet another good point. I just get these weird and crazy ideas into my head, its just that i have seen it work so well for a Darkrai before. OK, i now have three main options with Ggar:

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid
Levitate
252spd,252sp.atk,4hp
Hypnosis
Dream Eater
Nightmare
Mean Look

I think this could work, tell me if i'm wrong. This is the tactical one.

OR

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid
Levitate
252spd,252sp.atk,4hp
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball
Sludge Bomb
Thunderbolt

STABx2 + wide variety of pokes can be hurt.

OR

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid
252spd,252sp.atk,4hp
Thunderbolt
Dark Pulse
Focus Blast
Energy Ball/Giga Drain/Hypnosis

No STAB so i can super-effective hit:water, flying, psychic, ghost, normal, steel, ice, rock + (if the grass moves are chose), Ground. Note: Psychic for Dark Pulse on Luke, Ice Beam for Psychic on Cress.

Good point.

Use the last set with Shadow Ball >> Dark pulse.

NO! Just give it Shadow Ball. It does more than a super effective hit. The first set is even worse. If they wake up, it's over for you. And you've wasted 3 slots for something situational. As soon as they are sleep, they will switch, wasting Mean Look on a counter. Or, as soon as you use Mean Look, you die.

WRONG!!!!........................................................(i've wasted four)

Use the last set with Shadow Ball >> Dark pulse.

K.Got it. All hail Dragonite and his army of Empoleon.

Okay, i know this probably looks like i am ignoring you all, but i have taken everything in, particularly on Gengar, but this is gonna be the new team, please tell me if i have got it wrong with Empoleon and Torterra:

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid
Levitate
252spd,252sp.atk,4hp
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Energy Ball

This should do better at leading than Dragonite. Special Sweeper

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Timid
240sp.atk,240sp.def,46hp (tell me if i've got the hp wrong)
Hydro Pump
Ice Beam
Flash Cannon
Agility/Toxic (not sure wether to weaken or try to outpace enemys, although the latter is probably impossible)

Bulky Special.

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Jolly
Inner Focus
252atk,252spd,4hp
Dragon Claw
Dragon Dance
Fire Punch
Earthquake

Physical sweeper as usual.

Torterra @ Lefties
Jolly
240hp,240def,46atk
Light Screen/EQ (prob. no EQ coz. nite's got it.)
Wood Hammer
Crunch/Stealth Rock
Protect/Stealth Rock

New physical wall, as you can see, i love all the starters from Diamond except the one i chose, and even Swampert isn't indespensible.

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Timid
240hp,240sp.def,46sp.atk
Psychic
Thunder Wave
Rest
Sleep Talk

Same old special wall...nowt rong wit it as far as eye can sea.

Lucario @ Leftovers
Naive
Inner Focus/Steadfast (got 2 with same nature and moveset)
200atk,200spd,108sp.atk
Aura Sphere
Extremespeed
Shadow Claw
Iron Tail

Mixluke of my own creation (well, more physical luke with STAB Aura Sphere)
Swampert may not be indespensable, but this guy is.
As should be obvious by now, my style is not very tactical, the closest i get to that is Stealth Rcok on Tortankterra and T-Wave on Cresspecialia. I hope you will apreciate this when rating.

All offense is overkill. You want Hypnosis to sleep stuff.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Timid

Bulky Special.
No.it wants Calm and Stealth Rock/Roar over Flash Cannon.Grass Knot or Roar are replacing Agility/Toxic.Surf over Hydro Pump.

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Jolly/Adamant
Inner Focus

Oh dear.Psychic is a horrible move by itself as the only offensive move and invites Steel/Dark types to laugh at you and set up.Tyranitar, anyone?

Lucario @ Leftovers/Life Orb

I beg you, don't use the sets you created.Cresselia should be walling things when it gets walled by sweepers.Lucario is better of with Sword Dancing.Gengar is just overkill,Empoleon has no business trying to be fast,Torterra is just horrible because it's so slow so I'd rather get rid of it.2 4X Ice weaknesses aren't helping.Let alone HP Ice Magnezone will slaughter your only ice resistance.Cresselia has a horrible nature, too. What do you plan on outrunning?

I'm glad you took my advice, but it seems that you still have some problems.
Mamoswine weak, Weavile weak, lack of physical walling.
Okay, ditch Torterra. Put a physical wall over it such as Skarmory.
Life Orb Gengar should pack Hypnosis. If you don't want Hypnosis, go put Choice Specs on it.
Cresselia cannot wall effectively with Timid. Run the CM set if you can't change the nature. I would recommend something else > Thunder Wave since your team isn't reliant on paralysis.
Outrage > Dragon Claw since that is the only advantage Dragonite has over Salamence. If you want a set like this, run DDSalamence.
Sorry to tell you this, but you should try to use the standard and become acquainted with the metagame before making your own sets. Lucario should only be mixed if you have a Blissey problem. Either go SDLuke:

Lucario @ Life Orb
Adamant, 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Close Combat
Extremespeed
Swords Dance
Crunch/Bullet Punch/Stone Edge

or SpecsLuke

Lucario @ Choice Specs
Timid/Modest, 252 SpA, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Aura Sphere
Vacuum Wave
Dark Pulse/Shadow Ball
HP Ice/Dragon Pulse

I would put Bronzong > Empoleon and run Gliscor > Torterra. Bronzong takes care of Weavile and Mamoswine effectively and is effective as a lead.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Relaxed/Sassy
252 HP/152 Atk/8 Def/96 SpD (Relaxed)
252 HP/152 Atk/8 SpD/96 Def (Sassy)
Gyro Ball
Hypnosis
Stealth Rock
Earthquake/Reflect/Light Screen

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Impish
252 HP/252 Def/4 Speed
Earthquake
Roost
Taunt
Ice Fang/Stone Edge/Aerial Ace

Overall a decent second attempt, but you should try the standards more before attempting to be creative.

New ideas, any better?

Gengar-lead,standard
Dragonite-same as before
Empoleon @ Lefties
Timid
252sp.atk,216spd,40hp
Agility
Ice Beam
Surf
Grass Knot

The physical wall:

Lapras @ Lefties
Modest
Water Absorb
200hp,200def,52atk,56sp.atk
Avalanche
Thunderbolt
Rest
Sleep Talk

Snorlax @ Lefties
Adamant
Immunity
252hp,200sp.def,56atk
Brick Break
Rest
Sleep Talk
Crunch

Resttalkin,Brick Breakin, Crunchin Snorlax.

Will add last poke upon decision as to who it should be.

Supereffective Brick Break is outdamaged by STAB Return, and Body Slam is probably more useful than both. Snorlax also NEEDS Careful and near-max SDef. Snorlax isn't invincible against special sweepers like it was in past generations, so you're going to have to bulky it up.

also, use Thick Fat or Heatran is going to run you over. It also helps with random Ice Beams and Fire Blasts that could be headed towards physical walls.

Is this EV spread better 200hp,252sp.def,56atk? And how about this moveset? Body Slam,Crunch,Rest, Sleep Talk. And are you guys all American by any chance, coz i notice that all the replys seem to be at about 11:00 to 04:00 at night in my time? Just wondering.
