    Is anyone else suuuper disappointed with the new pokemon designs? With an exception for Cutiefly, Grubbin and Vikavolt I'm not too fond of the new pokemon, something about them is.. off I don't know what it is about the designs other then them looking pretty funky. What's your thoughts on it?
     
    I like them. Each generation will have different pokemon that appeal to different pokemon, so dont worry, you'll probably like a few. Also, they'll probably grow on you. it's not uncommon to not like a pokemon when it is first revealed.
     
    I used to see Bruxish as very ugly, but now I think it's very cool with what fish it's based on and having an ability that would heavily shake up competitively. Personally I feel no new Pokemon from 7th Gen has been a letdown so far.
     
    So far "Bruxish" and "Slandit", I think really stand out and look awesome. I do enjoy how the other newly revealed pokemon appear so far. I haven't seen any pokemon that I dislike, but I'm sure that there will probably be a few that I will dislike, because every new generation will have some terrible pokemon.

    If the new pokemon bother you that much, you could always bring over older pokemon from past games and just enjoy the game with pokemon you know you like.
     
    I'm actually fond of all the new Pok?mon introduced, even Bruxish (I don't have a problem with it whatsoever lol), but the only one that's giving me a problem is Tapu Koko :/
    Don't really like the human-esque vibe it gives off + its mohawk

    I really like the new pokemon, especially the one in Mudkip's avatar(no, not mudkip. The other one). The one I don't like is the newest pokemon introduced yesterday, the Salandit. I don't think Corrosion would be a very useful ability.
     
    So far two Pokemon for me were 'love at first sight' as soon as I saw them I instantly loved them.
    They where Litten and Solgaleo, could be that I love cats.
    The rest, some designs I really liked (such as Togedemaru, Salandit, Rowlet, Lunala) while some others I really disliked (mainly Bruxish and Popplio).

    Then again, I choose my favorite Pokemon on animals I like.
     
    On the contrary, I think this is one of the strongest generations to date in terms of Pokemon designs. Every new Pokemon revealed so far feels totally unique and there really aren't many I dislike. We're getting some great new typing combinations along with some interesting abilities and overall I think they have done a great job.
     
    I'm really enjoying the new designs overall. There are a couple I'm not crazy abut but I wouldn't say I dislike them either. My favourites include Rowlet, Drampa, Salandit, Bruxish, Grubbin and Tapu Koko. I think Popplio and Lunala deserve a mention too.

    I'd say the pikaclone is the only real disappointment, but it's an expected disappointment so I guess I can't really complain too much about it.
     
    I love the designs. Charjabug, Salandit, and Litten all look awesome. I, however, am concerned about the names. Most of them aren't so pleasant to say.
