That's the thing, for MY one, I don't want any pokemon he hasn't had, so I don't want to use evolutions unless he actually had it.

Why does Ash have to pick a bunch of Pokemon that are concidered UU one NB dammit ;(.
Pikachu @ Light Ball + Volt Tackle does insane damage. Dugtrio is all over him though =P.

Spike, Dugtrio is over just about everything Ash has ever had.
EQ, Rock Slide, Aerial Ace and ANYTHING will virtually ruin Ash's team.
I don't see why Haunter can't FP since it has hands.
Could try HP Ice on Haunter to make up a sort of weaker version of Boltbeam...
