1st Gen Red/Blue Monotype Challenge!

alright sorry for my lack of updating, iv been busy this week so i havent gotten round to it

so far i have

did the usual boring beginning stuff, caught caterpie and weedle
still training them

-Caught Nidoran Male, for the end-game
-Trained Nidoran Male to level 10 with bulbasaur
-Thrashed Brock with Bulbasaur's Vine Whip
-Caught Zubat in Mt.Moon
-Defeated the rival @ nugget bridge with little difficulty
-Visited Bill (after glitch capturing the 2 mews :P)
-Smacked Misty's pogeymans around until she gave me the badge.
-Proceeded southward to Vermilion
-Got cut from the sick sea captain
-Caught an oddish (HM Slave)
-Defeated Lt.Surge

On a side note, I realised one can start a fighting monotype challenge, but who is seriously going to clear to bill's house and THEN finally have a pokemon they can use.

caught my geodude in mt. moon and named it "DUDE!"

made it through mt. moon with ease and with a dome fossil

beat my rival, the nugget bridge, and the trainers near bill's house in cerulean city.

DUDE! evolved

skipped misty to go to the s.s. anne

pumped DUDE! with TMs and was surprised to have it learn earthquake at lvl 36

received cut

body slammed misty

received old amber

quaked surge

went through rock tunnel easily (without flash)

made it to lavender and left.

got to celadon

currently beating the rockets in the casino.

First update.

Started, named my guy Red and rival Blue.
Picked Carmander and easily beat rival.
Sped through till when you can first go into the forest and caught a Pikachu.
Leveled to 10 and destroyed Blue.
Caught another Pikachu in the forest by pure luck.
Leveled Pika2 (his nickname) to 8.
Currently trying to get Pikachu and Pika2 to 20 to go face Brock.

-Proceeded through Rock Tunnel.
-Reached Lavender Town.
-Travelled West, to Celadon and my next badge.
-Destroyed Erika with Golbat (Leech Life is SE vs grass/poisons o.O)
-Trashed the Rocket's Hideout, demanding a Silph Scope
-Defeated the under-leveled rival :P
-Caught Gastly for the team (Level 24 :P)
-Levelled and evolved Gastly twice into Gengar
-Gained the Pokeflute, which was used to capture Snorlax for the dex entry
-Defeated Koga with little problems, Gengar was nearly immune to him :P
-Got HM02, 03, and 04
-Caught Tentacool, by using a gyarados that I had put in day care as Magikarp
-Flew to Pallet Town, and surfed south to Cinnabar
-Caught Koffing, making my 6th team member!
