    Okay, now that I've gotten your attention, who here has been on a yacht before and sailed around? I've been on one.. all my life. It's a pain in the neck to look like we're going to capsize all the time but a yachtie life is for meh!

    I don't really like going on boats. But I have been on loads. Just doens't make me feel right.

    Hmm, Sailing is okay, I don't really like going on boats. It does make me feel sick. So I try not go on many..

    By any chance, do you live in a houseboat?

    And for me, yes, once, for about three minutes. That was quick and cool.

    I don't know if this counts, but I've gone kayaking in Year 6 Camp before, while feeling sick at the same time. That same day the teachers sent me home.

    Oh, I love boats!
    I was on a ferry for a wedding...
    I actually drove a motor boat...
    I've been on lots of different boats on lakes and rivers during vacations, really.
    Paddle boats, peddle boats...
    Best of all my junior prom took place on the Cornucopia Princess ship.
    (Not a yacht, though!)

    Aw, crud, I voted wrong. I meant to say yes, but I said no instead ^^;;;

    Anyways, I've only been on a boat at least 2 times. One was when I was whale watching a few years ago, and the other was for a Dinner Dance, to celebrate me and every one else for graduating into the High School. It was pretty fun too...except it got really cold that night, and I didn't have a jacket ><;;;

    Oh, I love boats! ^^ They're so much fun, just looking out into the water and I always admire it.

    Once, when was 9-10, somewhere around there, my best friend invited me to go for a trip in their boat, and it was so much fun ^^ He even let me steer the boat for a little while, and I really liked it.

    I was on a paddlewheeler on the Ohio River for about twenty minutes, but it was unstable and I kept getting sprayed with river water (and this wasn't pleasant, as the Ohio River is polluted to the point of it being dangerous to swim in it).....I don't remember much more about it because I was only nine or so, but at least the captain let me take the wheel for a minute o_O;

    I went on a ferry between Honshu(sp?) and Hokkaido, in Japan, to go to the Sapporo Snow Festival. I didn't really get sick. Or at least I didn't throw up. XD; I rather enjoyed it though. I like traveling for some reason.
    I've been on motorboats before too. usually it's fun, until you have too many people in the front, and water splashes onto the front, and you're paranoid, and you think you're going to sink... XD

    Never been on a yacht though.

    Yacht? No, I don't think so. Not that I can remember, anyway.

    As for boats themselves, I've been on a lot. :> Driven a few, too. We lived in Vancouver for a while so we'd go on ferries between the mainland and Vancouver Island to visit my uncle's family every so often. We'd also went on vacation once with some friends and we all rented a boat. That was fun. Then when we lived in Halifax, we'd go out on mini cruises every so often and, since the boat was owned by my dad's company, we went on the Bluenose II a few times. :D (The original Bluenose is the boat on the Canadian dime, for anyone who cares...XD)

    I've been on a boat a few times.
    The first boat I was on was not very fun for me. I stayed clingy to my mom the whole time. Stupid Anthony was driving the boat so fast I was afraid I would fall overboard. o.o *was a little girl* XD The only thing I enjoyed was the fireworks in New York City.

    My dad and I used to own a little 4-man Beetlecat... I loved that thing, I love to sail, really. I want it back! *cries*

    No. My family rents a house in Malaysia but I don't have a houseboat. Just a yacht and a house. And god, both desparately need a cleanup job.
    And I've been at the helm too. It's cool to be in control of the whole yacht, but the time I was at the helm the most was for about two hours and in the middle of a rain shower down an esturary (if I spelled that correct). I practically froze, and when I went down I was shivering! Oh yeah, and the heeling... once my boat heeled so hard it went completely on its side. Running aground is scary.
    Also, I was once in a dinghy and this big (and REALLY big) wave went over it, and it capsized. God. The dinghy hit me in the back of the head and I was in all my clothes too! Gladly, I didn't have my bag with me.
    Well, now I'm rambling about my yachtie stories. *Slaps self*

    I love being near the water, so naturally I enjoy riding all kinds of boats! I've done it all my life and I've never gotten seasick... I guess I'm a natural sailor. XP

    My grandparents have a house on a nearby lake and they have two boats and jet skis that we always ride during the summer. It's a lot of fun, especially on the 4th of July.

    I've also been on 3 cruises before, and they are definitely my favorite kind of boats to go on! They are just so much fun. <3 They're really the best deal if you're ever having trouble deciding what to do on a vacation. I highly recommend them!

    Nope, never. Well, I did once, when I was like 6, but like I can remember.. >_>
