Question: Regarding mods and PMs

    I don't know if this question as been address already, but I'm just curious:

    Can higher-powered mods (like super mods, etc) view different member's PMs?
     
    Thats interesting...because i remember when i was a admin and even before i was a admin and when i was only a super mod on mmotop.org that was able to see all recent pm's by the members...

    Perhaps this forum of yours has different software than vbulletin, or maybe the staff permissions are different?
     
    They are powered by same i just think permissions are set different here then.
     
    I don't think that even Steve can see others' PMs here. If they can see them on another vB forum, chances are that there is an add-on installed that allows this to happen on that other forum, which isn't a great thing really. Everyone deserves the privacy of PMs, as far as I am concerned...and staff doesn't need to see PMs unless someone forwards it to them for a report or chooses to share the PM with them.
