The Regi Trio, in the R/S/E games, is a trio of legendary Pokémon which is composed of Regirock, Regice and Registeel.
They have a very original and unique way of unlocking their caves, and then once again solving puzzles to unlock the deepest chamber. To unlock the caves, you'd need a Pokémon with Dig, a Relicanth at the front of your party and Wailord at the end (RS, for Emerald it's the opposite). Now, you need to go to Sealed Chamber. You'll find a Dive spot on Route 132-134, somewhere between the currents. Now, enter the Sealed Chamber. At the north side, you'll find a piece of Braille, just press A, then use Dig in front of it. It'll open a hole in the wall. Walk through that, go to the second piece of Braille. Press A, and it'll shake- some text will appear. It'll say "It sounded as if a door opened somewhere far away." This should unlock the caves, and now you should be able to capture the Regi Trio!

Regirock is a Rock-Type legendary Pokémon, being a bulky Pokémon with a 200 Defense stat, and a good attacker with a 100 Attack stat. It's found in Desert Ruins, situated on the south part of the desert on Route 111. It resides in the deepest chamber. To reach Regirock, you'll have to talk to the Braille, then the player must go two steps right, then two steps down, and then use Strength. It also has a catch rate of 3; making it just as hard to catch as the Weather Trio. It's based off a golem, it's body being made out of large brown rocks. The pattern on it's face also resembles a "H". Rocky spikes also run down it's back, you can see this from it's backsprites and stuff!

Regice, also known as the Iceberg Pokémon is an Ice-Type legendary Pokémon. It has a high Sp. Defense stat of 200, while it's regular Defense and Special Attack reaching a good 100 stat. You can find it in Island Cave. Island Cave is found on a small island on Route 105. It also has a catch rate of 3, making it pretty difficult to capture, especially in a regular PokéBall. To access the inmost chamber, you'll have to talk to the Braille on the wall, then stand still for 2 minutes. A hole in the wall will suddenly appear, letting you get to Regice. It's said to be composed of Antarctic ice. The pattern on it's face resembles a "+", and it's known even to survive falling in lava, from how cold it is.

Registeel is the Iron Pokémon, a pure Steel-Type legendary Pokémon. It's Defense and Special Defense are a stat of 150, which is actually surprisingly good. It's other stats don't really catch up as much, sadly though. You can find it in Ancient Tomb, which is located on Route 120. You've probably noticed the big rock that you can find just after you explore Route 120 a little more. To get access to Registeel, in R/S the player must use Fly in the middle of the room, and a path will open. For Emerald, you'll have to use Flash in the middle of the room, instead of Fly. The pattern on it's head looks like a hexagonal shape. It's Ruby description indicates that it's body is apparently hollow, and that no-one knows what it eats.
So, did you take a liking to the Regi Trio? Did you ever bother doing the Sealed Chamber event to unlock the 3 caves? Did you catch all of them, and if not- did you catch one, or did you not even bother?
