[Intro] Reintroduction after 7 years

It's been a while since I've been here, so here we go!

Hi there! I'm Taco, formerly known as KBenchy (for some reason). I don't think many people know me since I haven't posted much when I was active for a short time back in 2018, but I might as well take the chance to post another intro (or I guess re-intro) again, cause why not? It's been a few years and I've grown since.

I've been a fan of Pokemon since I was in my early teens (which is when I first joined this forum! I'm 20 now... woah) but since then I've kinda been flip-flopping between other interests in-between my growth. My interest in Pokemon never really went away, though, despite me not being able to play the games since I don't own either a Switch 1 or 2 (ergo, I'm stuck on the 3DS). On that note, I still need to catch up to Horizons badly.

In terms of non-Pokemon interests, my biggest one personally is Sonic, started around the same time as my Pokemon interest. Guess which one grew more over time.

Oh yeah, I also draw now... I'll probably have an art thread in a few days if I don't forget

I've never been good on intros and stuff so the only thing I can really say is... thanks for reading!

Hello there Taco, and welcome back to the PC! (nice avatar btw)

At least the 3DS has a good selection of games on it, and there's always fangames on your computer if you're looking to try something new.
Looking forward to seeing some of your art if you ever get around to making that art thread by the way!

Thanks! My avatar I didn't draw but is of my non Pokemon trainer OC! Speaking of, since it's related, omg Rin (Hoshizora) on your sig... I've played around with a few fangames but I don't think they're gonna run smoothly on my 5+ year old laptop 😅 And yeah I'll most likely get around to doing the thread a few days, just need to pick and choose some of my work.

As for official games, the last one I remember playing was Ultra Sun, and I liked it a lot ^^

That's cool! Your OC's got a nice style to them! And yep, I love that gif so much I had to put her in there too. (I'm surprised I haven't linked to the credits song it's from as of yet, I really should do that soon... >.>) You might be surprised what you can get working on an old laptop lol. I've got one as old as dust that still manages to play older 2D games decently well, so it could still be worth a look if you're interested just in case. (not trying to advocate here, though, I'm not even personally into fangames, I just know the old laptop struggles well LOL) Good to hear, I'll check it out when you do!

Glad to hear you had a fun time with it! Gen 7 had some great Pokemon release with it! Do you have a favorite Pokemon by the way?

Thanks! Yeah, Rin's great and I love the series she's from. She's not my #1 favorite, she's from another group.
As for my favorite Pokemon? Hmmm I don't have any real rankings for mine, and one of it is basic, being Greninja. (Funnily enough, I think I said the same thing in my first intro LOL) Though I also really like Ceruledge.

Greninja cool, thought! I never pick it cause I always go with the Fox (check my name LOL), but it's a really good starter Pokemon for sure! It would have better luck with me if it hadn't been stuck in the same Gen as the Fox starter, though lol. Ceruledge is awesome too, and it also has an extremely broken Fire move, which I love it for.

Hi there! I think it was Emerald? Though I never owned a DS or a GBA, I went with the "unofficial route" LOL, that and I also don't think I ever finished Emerald sadly
