Rep Are Getting Out Of Hand Now

I am now, wanting to disscuss rep, now, rep has REALLY got out of hand lately, and i mean it, look how many people are still asking for rep when the rule has been announced, i am really kinda tired of it, e.g, we get so many members getting tons of more rep than admins now, and it isnt right, i know some people deserve it, im not referring to them, im referring to the people who have asked for rep all along, and now they have tons of blocks, me?, i know, i once was mad asking for rep, but not now, today, the rep system is used like its a fun activity, not like before, no no no, it used to show your rank of PC, today, its not, now, i just wanted to point this out, i would kinda suggest somehow, that we start again, now thats just an idea, i wanna know YOUR opinon.

I agree with this, people are still saying "give me rep" when the rules have been enforced. Is there a way to prevent this?

Maybe they should reset all of those who ask for rep's rep back to 0 (or less than 0, for that matter), that would sure stop people fast. It would also punish those who break the rules. Anyway, that's my oppinion.

How rules are actually XD, yeah, oooor, we could just start again, if you see someone asking in there sig or wherever, send it back to 0, or just less lower.

I'm agreeing with the people who said to reset the reps completly, or maybe give them as much bad rep as the have good rep (i.e.: If they have 10 rep blocks, give them 10 bad rep blocks.) I'm only saying this to the people who do not deserve it, look at FG, she totally deserves all the rep she has, she's an awesome artist and mod. Maybe someone will respond to this and listen to all us, but most likely not. XD

Reset the people's reps that ask for rep.. ohh geez. >_< I can already imagine all the chaos of that. Do we really need threads like ''noo! where's all my rep!''.. I have a strong feeling that would be going around, and many other complaints.. Not only that but setting their rep to 0 will be a pain. (especially since many people do that) Overall, it's not as g00d as it used to be.. looks like it causes more problems than g00d. (actually it moves smoothly, then gets out of hand)

Rep has become spam. Thats the only way to put it. On the other hand, I dont want to lost my rep. So people, just STOP giving people piles of rep for no reason. Its called "Reputation" for a reason!
Its to show if a members posts are good quality or not! lets keep it that way!

I still dont see how that's gonna change anything.. =/ If that were to be done, that will still have to be done to everyone that abuses the system.. and will still cause immature complaints, even after warning them to stop begging for rep.. Donno how that'd work.

Well, what happens if we just leave it? Those who ask for rep get tons more than those who don't, by breaking the rules.

This way at least rep lives up to it's name.

That would be great, and many of us don't give rep, but there are those that exchange rep. They think it would be better to obtain rep and help someone out who doesn't deserve it, then to do what is obviously right. If they could be stopped, it would fix this whole thing, but they can't.
