Repeating the same mistakes

Why do you think Nintendo uses images from Japan instead of capturing their own? Discuss.

Seems more broad rather than B/W specific, since you provided DP examples, saying it has happened in the past, so. I'm not sure really, but I think it's probably due to the fact that they don't like extra work? Idk. Has this happened with other games other than DP and B/W? If so, seems like a trend that won't be changing soon.

And even so, if the English games for B/W have those images (somehow?), thennn there wouldn't be much of a discussion in the future. But, since it applies to Pokemon games other than B/W, it seems more fit for GPG (and especially the way you worded your post).

Maybe somebody could come up with an answer in... General Pokemon Gaming!

(Syd if this is a duplicate or something I missed, sorry).

-Munchlax sprite is different

And there's even more: the battle background is different. When playing gen IV Pokémon games, the batle backgrounds have a black outline. I think they look better without the line, as seen in the beta screenshot. Why did they add it? We don't know...

And I think it's a bad idea to use beta screenshots for Black and White. I feel like if they were saying: "Pokémon BW is still under development. Japan doesn't exist"

With that gen IV battle screenshot, that's always bugged me. It looked rather nice imo, and I wish it had actually looked that way. What in the world is that attack though?

I always thought that it was just that the game wasn't done and that it was just a beta screenshot, not that they were saying Japan doesn't exist. But oh well, what do I know? lol

Hmm, NoA is probably just too lazy to make their own footage of the game, and just reuse the Japanese stuff. xD And someone also stated that before Gen IV was released to America, the Pokemon names weren't in all caps, but once the final game was released, they remained in all caps like before. I wonder if that'll happen with Gen V? :o

Oh, and Sydian, I think the move that was used is Swallow. xP

To me, those screenshots show that the game is still in development and it also shows how the game would roughly look in the final, with some tweaks of course.
