H-how could you replace them?! I'd pick adventure's three. Baby Pokemon would be an interesting mechanic to start out with. c: But maybe Togepi instead of Smoochum?

If forced...
Mareep -> Flaafy -> Ampharos
Hoppip -> Skiploom -> Jumpluff
Marill -> Azumarill
but if it needed to be balanced to 2-2-2 I'd pick
Slugma -> Magcargo
Remoraid -> Octillary
Sunkern -> Sunflora
Though some of these Pokemon would need to be rebalanced...
