when you get rep,how much does it take to appear as another block?

I think it depends on the amount of rep of the user who gave you your rep. That's how it is with my rep at any rate. Also, you could have just looked in the FAQ you know. -___-

It changes as your rep increases - as you get more rep, extra blocks are harder to get. :)
Rep doesn't matter so much, though - as long as you post well and are an active, rule-abiding member, the reputation from that will be worth more than any you could ever get! ^_^

I didn't say that ^^; I said for the first couple of blocks its that, then goes up and up to about 400 or more

It's like this...

0 = one dark green block
100 = two dark green blocks
200 = three dark green blocks
400 = four dark green blocks
500 = five dark green blocks
700 = one light green block
900 = two light green blocks
1300 = three light green blocks
1500 = four light green blocks
1750 = five light green blocks
2000 = six light green blocks

I'm pretty sure that's how it goes, but correct me if I'm wrong. =)

Close enough. I'm not sure of the accuracy of that list, since the rep manager doesn't seem to specify which levels produce more blocks. O_o; If that's right though, yeah it should be added to his FAQ and then just refer people there.
