Request a Team / Individual Move Set Thread

thanks for making me this team CL

Rather specific request: a L50 team featuring this bad boy:

Metagross@Choice Band
EV: 100 HP/252 Att/90 Def/68 Sp Def
Nature: Adamant
Meteor Mash
Shadow Ball
Rock Slide
Earthquake

Well, my request 2 pages back seemed skipped. Or did I miss it? W/E, new team request.

Arcanine, maybe, and some UU. Maybe a Lightball Pika, too.

I'll see if I can fill in this request:

Arcanine@Leftovers
EV: 60 HP/252 Att/40 Def/144 Sp Att/12 Sp Def
Nature: Brave
Trait: Intimidate
Howl
Extremespeed
Iron Tail
Fire Blast/Overheat

EVs look funny, but they work.

Pikachu@Light Ball
Nature: Modest
EV: 252 Speed/252 Sp Att/6 Sp Def
Trait: Static
Thunderbolt/Thunder
HP Grass
Surf
Thunder Wave

Surfchu. Different alternative to the usual selection of Subpunching Pikachu. You could use Thunder if you want to use Omastar to set you up.

Omastar@Leftovers
Nature: Modest
EV: 120 Speed/252 SpAtt/60 Def/68 HP
Trait: Swift Swim
Surf
Ice Beam
Rain Dance
Spikes

Second fave UU Spiker.

Steelix@Leftovers
Nature: Impish/Adamant
EV: 200 HP/176 Att/228 Def
Trait: Sturdy
Earthquake
Rest
Rock Slide
Explosion

Physical wall.

Meganium@Leftovers
Nature: Calm/Bold
EV: 212 HP/144 Def/60 Sp Att/94 Sp Def
Trait: Overgrow
Leech Seed
Toxic/Grasswhistle
Razor Leaf
Light Screen

Some consider Meganium to be BL, I think he's more UU. Anyway, LS to help with Sp Def walling.

Tentacruel@Leftovers
Nature: Calm/Bold
EV: 140 HP/180 Att/80 Def/110 Sp Def
Trait: Liquid Ooze
Sword Dance
Sludge Bomb
HP Fighting/Ghost
Rapid Spin

Cos every team needs a spinner.

Sorry it's taking so long Melee Master, but don't think I forgot about you, I'm just dealing with alot of stuff right now. If anyone else would like to fulfill Melee Master's request, please do so, as i might take a while.

edit: here

Jolteon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 132 HP / 196 Spd / 180 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

I doubt a team of which you requested can really BP much, but you're the customer, and this is the best I'll be able to do. Second Best sub-passer in the game IMO.

Umbreon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Curse
- Moonlight / Wish
- Taunt / Mean Look

Mean Look probably won't get you anywhere without Taunt, but it's still there.

Ho-Oh @ White Herb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 204 HP / 216 Atk / 88 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Sacred Fire
- Shadow Ball

You can always use Substitue with a 404 HP stat over Shadow Ball.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 144 Def / 64 SAtk / 60 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Hydro Pump / Roar
- Ice Beam / Rock Slide
- Rest

Tyranitar counter as well as a good Cursepass receiver. Roar is an option if you require a phazer

Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 236 HP / 172 Atk / 100 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Body Slam / Return / Frustration / Double-Edge
- Earthquake
- Rest
- Shadow Ball / Fire Blast

Another Curse recipient :D. If using Fire Blast, use Sassy Nature and at least 16 SAtk EVs.

Dugtrio (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Arena Trap
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Slide

On the first turn that Umbreon comes in, baton pass to this, as stuff like Heracross pops up.
Actually on the first turn it comes in, just Baton Pass period.

You may have som Gyarados problems, so you can use Bato n Pass Zapdos ocer Jolteon to help out. No doubt you'll have Hera and Medi problems, which is why I suggest that you use Baton Pass more often than Curse on Umbreon. Remember not to get too greedy with Curse, just one or two should suffice for Swampert, and maybe 3 can help out Snorlax.

If I don't feel like using a special attack on Swampert, where should I put the extra 64 EVs?

I would put it in HP or Defense.

Split the EVs between HP and Defense.

IMO, you shold keep SAtk on Swampert, but otherwise, just put it into Defense and Attack, since Swampert has enough HP already.

I didn't see that it already had 240 EVs in HP.

could I have a team for pokemon rocks america tournament

with

shedninja
Mewtwo
and swampert plz

Think of the other three Pokemon and I'll help you with those.

Shedninja @ Choice Band
Trait: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
-Shadow Ball
-Silver Wind
-Aeriel Ace
-Hidden Power [Fighting]

Just sweep with CB Adamant Shedninja. It won't last long.

Mewtwo @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
-Thunderbolt / Flamethrower / Ice Beam / Recover
-Calm Mind
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt / Flamethrower / Ice Beam / Recover

Calm Mind and Psychic are standard for Mewtwo. You can choose berween the other two slots.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 60 Atk / 84 Def / 64 SAtk / 60 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
-Curse
-Surf / Ice Beam / Rock Slide
-Earthquake
-Rest

Cursepert with Earthquake for STAB.

Note: Dump the Special Attack EVs into Attack, Defense, and/or Special Defense if you're using QuakeSlide Swampert.

Apparently this is an in-game team, and HP Fighting should not be suggested. Not to mention i think he needs 3 more pokemon. and not to mention CBSHedinja sucks. Needs more Swords Dance

My swampert is brave

I like mewtwo's set but It's hard choosing between recover and the rest

and the other 3 are

rayquaza
Groudon/Kyogre
Good Swift swimmer/cholorphiller

You can always use my Grudinja. Can be useful, although needs a T-Wave set up for Grudge.

Shedinja@Lum Berry
EV: 255 Att/255 Speed
Nature: Adamant
Trait: Wonder Guard
Grudge/Swords Dance
Shadow Ball/Silver Wind
Protect
Toxic/Silver Wind

Better for 2 v 2s, but can still be useful. A few options to play with.

Rayquaza@Choice Band
EV: 252 Att/252 Speed
Nature: Adamant
Trait: Air Lock
Extremespeed
Aerial Ace
Rock Slide
Earthquake

CBquaza pwns. First strike death dealer with Extremespeed

Groudon@Focus Band
Nature: Jolly
EV: 252 Att/100 Def/158 Speed
Trait: Drought
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Thunder Wave

Absolute beast. If you're 2 v 2ing, use Shiftry's Fake Out to set you up with Swords Dance, then proceed to rip.

Shiftry@Brightpowder
Nature: Lonely
EV: 252 Att/60 Speed/198 Sp Att
Trait: Chlorophyll
Fake Out
Shadow Ball
Solarbeam
Protect/Explosion

Protect is more for 2 v 2. Most psychics have Calm Mind and low Def which makes a fast Shadow Ball infinitely more useful. Fake Out + Shadow Ball should do enough to finish low Def Psychics like Mewtwo. Blow up on things you can't immediately handle.

Can aragornbird make me a team based off CB Groudon to counter other Groudon's? Must include a Shedinja.

I'm not aragornbird, but I can certainly help.

Groudon@Choice Band
Nature: Jolly/Adamant
EV: 252 Att/252 Speed/6 Def
Trait: Drought
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Aerial Ace/Thunder Wave
HP Bug

Beastly.

Flygon@Scope Lens
Nature: + Sp Att, - Sp Def or Modest
EV: Att/Sp Att/Speed
Earthquake/Flamethrower/Fire Blast
Solarbeam
Dragon Claw/Crunch/Protect/Earthquake
Protect/Earthquake/Crunch

Flygon has a lot of options. Probably the best counter to standard Groudon, Solarbeam is a 1-2HKO depending on Groudon's Sp Def, and plenty of things to support you. Protect is obviously a 2 v 2 thing.

Shedinja@Lum Berry
Nature: Adamant
EV: 255 Att/255 Speed
Swords Dance/Grudge
Shadow Ball/Silver Wind
Silver Wind/Protect
Grudge/Toxic/Baton Pass

Needs a T-wave set up for Grudge.

Shiftry@Brightpowder
Nature: Lonely
EV: 252 Att/60 Speed/198 Sp Att
Trait: Chlorophyll
Fake Out
Shadow Ball
Solarbeam
Explosion/Protect

Arguably one of the best Chlorophyll Sunnybeamers.

Ho-oh@Leftovers
Nature: Calm
EV: 60 HP/24 Def/4 Speed/170 Sp Att/252 Sp Def
Trait: Pressure
Flamethrower/Fire Blast/Sacred Fire
Thunder/Solarbeam
Recover
Reflect/Light Screen

Heck of a staller with the screens.

Heracross@Salac Berry
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Trait: Swarm
EV: 252 Speed/252 Att/6 HP
Megahorn
Endure
Reversal
Rock Slide

I've seen this thing OHKO Kyogre from full health. Fearsome beast around ubers.

I don't see much wrong with this team. I like CB Flygon better than CB Groudon in my opinion. I like the original set Earthquake/Fire Blast/Swords Dance/Rock Slide.

T-Wave over Fire Blast for me IMO, I find it infinitely more useful on standard Groudon. Groudon is for Att, not Sp Att. At the very least Overheat > Fire Blast.
