  • And the reason that only 1% of them are getting answered is because I'm the only one that actually does teams for D/P =/... I'll work on something once I make it back from the dermatologist.

EDIT: Okay Heavy Troopa's ready to launch. And for the record, posting large text likes that only makes people NOT do teams for you, so you should consider yourself lucky that I'm doing this. Now a team with Lucario, you say?

    Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
    Ability: Steadfast
    EVs: 128 Atk / 252 Spd / 128 Sp. Atk
    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
    - Psychic
    - Close Combat
    - Stone Edge
    - Dark Pulse
    All attacks cover its weaknesses.

    Leafeon (M) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Leaf Guard
    EVs: 196 HP / 40 Atk / 216 Def / 56 Spd
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Swords Dance / Protect
    - Leaf Blade
    - Wish
    - Baton Pass
This is the only thing with some type of defense that you can WishPass with. SDPass if you think you're good enough to pull it off.

    Weavile (M) @ Leftovers / Choice Band
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Ice Punch
    - Fake Out / Quick Attack / Ice Shard
    - Pursuit
    - Aerial Ace / Brick Break / Night Slash
Such a wide array of options. But the main point of it is that a CBed, STABed Pursuit from Weavile will make people have so many nightmares.

    Dusknoir (M) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 56 Def / 160 SDef
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Will-o-Wisp
    - Focus Punch
    - Pain Split
    - Payback (some filler I dunno)
    Your mission here is WispPunching.

    Azelf @ Expert Belt
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 40 Atk / 252 Spd / 216 SAtk
    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
    - Psychic
    - Thunderbolt
    - Flamethrower
    - U-Turn / Explosion
    Special Sweeping on drugs.

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
    - Seismic Toss
    - Aromatherapy
    - Softboiled
    - Stealth Rock / Ice Beam
Stealth Rock to spike up the team or Ice Beam to ward off Gengar (dunno what you'd want to do that for, Azelf has him covered already)

This team's biggest worry is Electivire. Probably something like Rampardos or some hard-hitting Earthquaker instead of Weavile could work him over.

I'm looking for three things here. I'm looking for a Physical Tank, a Special Sweeper (No Legendaries and Preferably no Ubers.) and a moveset for a Politoed (Don't ask). This is for Generation III so It shouldn't be hard too find a good Moveset. My current Politoed moveset is:

    Politoed (M) @ Salac Berry
    Trait: Water Absorb
    EVs: 40 HP / 235 SAtk / 235 SDef
    Bashful Nature (Neutral)
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Ice Beam
    - Psychic
    - Surf (Filler Move for STAB and HM)

    Thanks a Ton!

Anyway, I need (more of a want) movesets for:

    1. Blaziken (must include Earthquake)
    2. Giratina
    3. Palkia
    4. Dialga
    5. Staraptor
    6. Lucario

Feel free to want to change my pokemon if it'll help my team. I'm not into EV's and natures so PLEASE, don't bother me about that.

    Thanks!

    Gengar @ Salac Berry
    Levitate
    - Shadowball!
    - Hypnosis
    - Grassknot, Or energy ball, or another move, idk
    - Thunderbolt

My god, what a bad moveset you had, xD!

    Mesprit @ ?
    Levitate
    - ?
    - ?
    - ?
    - ?
    (Help, please? xD)

    No clue, lol

    Dragonite @ Life Orb
    Inner Focus
    - Dragon Claw or Outrage (Depends what you want)
    - Earthquake
    - Thunder Punch
    - Dragon Dance

Why do you have dragon dance with a special moveset, it boosts BOTH speed and attack, go with what I said, as DD will help the moves.

    Celebi @ Chesto Berry
    Natural Cure
    - Silver Wind/Psychic
    - Leech Seed
    - Calm Mind
    - Recover

    No clue

    Mamoswine @ Leftovers
    Oblivious
    - Ice Shard
    - Stone Edge
    - Earthquake
    - Stealth Rock

    Perfect, imo

    Arcanine @ Choice Band
    Intimidate
    - Extremespeed
    - Flare Blitz / Aerial ace
    - Reversal
    - Thunder Fang

    Hmm

    Any suggestions?

I'm also thinking of replacing one. Which should I replace, and with what?
Btw, I need something good against this Darkrai.

    Darkrai
    - Hypnosis
    - Dream Eater
    - Night Shade
    - Nightmare

This is a crap moveset for darkrai...

Hmm, if you used reversal on him from arcanine, it would hurt him alot, specially with CB. So try predict a switch, Otherwise, use a legendary that is faster than darkrai

My suggestions in BOLD, Hopefully they will help

Hey all, i'm lookin for a team that can do some competitive netbattling, I was originally just making this team on gold version just to battle my brother. Things changed and now I have access to every version of the game.

Heres the team I have so far and the moves as well, the actual pokemon and moves are all from G/S/C so with that in mind could you suggest some better moves and pokemon as well as the EV's, natures and items?

    Dragonite
    Thunder Punch
    Earthquake
    Outrage
    Surf

    Tyranitar
    Rock Slide
    Earthquake
    Crunch
    Brick Break

    Gengar
    Hypnosis
    Shadow Ball
    Thunderbolt
    Ice Punch

    Jolteon
    Substitute
    Thunderbolt
    Agility
    Baton Pass

    Skarmory
    Spikes
    Steel Wing
    Roar
    Drill Peck

    Umbreon
    Mean Look
    Curse
    Baton Pass
    Wish

Please try and keep Umbreon and Skarmory both on the team.

Also try and keep the pokemon and moves accessible to leaf green version, if you can't don't worry about it, its not a big deal.

ok i need help with a team

    so far i have

    Arcanine @ Lifeorb / Leftovers
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 (Whatever) This is the basic physical sweeper EV set
Adamant or Jolly, for extra speed
    Moveset:
    Crunch
    Flare blitz
    Extremespeed
    Thunderfang / Roar

This set is already good, when I train my own Arcanine, I will be choosing thunder fang, as a surprise to bulky waters, if they think they can try switch in on him, but roar could be a phazer, so that you can get rid of stat boosters

    (need evs)

    Dragonite @ lifeorb
    Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 6 (HP or Def) Basic Sweeper set
    Dragon dance
    Earthquake
    Dragon claw
    Thunderpunch / Rockedge? /Aerial Ace

You could go with Aerial ace for stab, or thunderpunch to take out bulky waters, other than that, this is the basic DD set for Dragonite. Is rockedge a move?

Problem with this guy is, his 4x weakness to Ice, so makesure you switch on a starmie or any pokemon that has Ice beam. (Prediction is the key)

    (need evs)

    ludicolo @leftovers
    calm
    leech seed
    giga drain
    surf
    toxic

I dont know too much about Ludicolo, I'll find out for you later.

    need evs

    dusknoir @leftovers
calm or bold? idk Calm for a special wall, or bold for a physical wall, you choose
    brick break
    will o wisp
    confuse ray/shadow punch
    mean look/trick room

Ahh Dusknoir, I am training up one for myself also this is my set:

    Dusknoir @ Leftovers
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 152 Sp. Def / 200 ~ 252 HP / 52 ~ 104 Def
    Moveset:
    - Fire punch / Ice punch
    - Will-o-wisp
    - Protect / Shadow punch (For stab)
    - Pain Split

I went with Impish, because attack is the 3rd best base stat on him, Impish is (+Def, -Sp. Atk), I went with impish because I want him to soak sp. atks and do damage to them whilst he takes minimal damage.

next i would like help choosing my last two pokemon

    some choices are
    metagross I'll post this later
    tyranitar
    porygon z
    alakazam
    vaporeon(already have awater)
    raichu
    scizor
    drapion
    bronzong
    shuckle?

i was leaning torwards porygon z and metagross..but in terma of making my team complete i need help choosing the last two members and what their evs and movesets should be..im not much good..i was thinking

    metagross
    adamant
    meteor mash
    agility/thunderpunch
    earthquake
    pursuit/explosion/brick break/stone edge

    PLEASE HELP ME!

Allright your team was basically good moveset wise, but you didn't have any EVs which I put up, and I noticed that you wanted them lol, :P anyway hopefully I helped, the meta set will come tomoz, and it's good you chose meta, because you need a physical wall, I'll also post skarmory, because he is a beast of a bird. (AND great physical wall!)

    whose better porygon? or alakazam???
both are really fragile yet are fast(alakazam being SUPER FAST) and super good special

    alakazam would look somehitng like...

    timid or modest

    energy ball
    psychic
    shadow ball???
    someother move....possibly charge beam...

porygon im thiking might be better with
    timid
    nasty plot
    tri attack
    thunder bolt
    ice beam....

    idk tho..please help me choose

(aerodactyl is one of my favs..is super fast and strong yet im thinking he wont fit anywhere... ma i right baout this or no? could he effectively replace someone?

i did a little research..and found out the best physical walls for my team

    it would be in between

    DRAPION
    WEEZING
    METAGROSS
    SKARMORY
    and GLISCOR

so far ive been leaning torwards metagross for his extremly good attack strenght..i dont like the fact that earthquake can take him out quickly.... so

weezing is an option being only weak to psychic....and normally a team only has one psychic pokemon....weezing is a good physical sponge that can not only poison..but in some cases even explode......trap oppnents..(iun case of toxic burn might be good tho toxic has better accuracy and is stronger)

drapion could be a good spikes man....he has great attack and defense...and is only weak to ground....(not so good) his toxic spikes are awsome!!! in that case roar would better suit arcanine.

skarmory and gliscor are meer novelties......tho skarmory..might intrigue me depending on what paranioa brings back....ive battled skarmory before and he is truly a foe to be feared...please someone..help me choose!

heres the only move set i can think of for weezing

    bold @leftovers
    sludgebomb
    dark pulse/flamethrower
    toxic/will o wisp
    pain split/explosion

    what would be the best???

I like aerodactly, I'll go through your team tonight and see if he is good or if he is a bother, anyway here is two movesets for metagross and skarmory, and some random comments:

Metagross @ Choice Band or Choice Scarf
    Trait: Clear Body
    Nature: Adamant
    Moveset:
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Meteor Mash
    - Bullet Punch / Zen Headbutt

    And

    Skarmory @
    Trait: Keen eye / Sturdy
Nature: Careful (+Sp. Def, -Sp. Atk)
    Moveset:
    - Drill Peck
    - Spikes
    - Whirlwind
    - Roost?

i did a little research..and found out the best physical walls for my team

    it would be in between

    DRAPION
    WEEZING
    METAGROSS
    SKARMORY
    and GLISCOR

so far ive been leaning torwards metagross for his extremly good attack strenght..i dont like the fact that earthquake can take him out quickly.... so

Yeah, eq is the most common move, but it doesnt affect meta that badly, you just need to switch in at the right times.

weezing is an option being only weak to psychic....and normally a team only has one psychic pokemon....weezing is a good physical sponge that can not only poison..but in some cases even explode......trap oppnents..(iun case of toxic burn might be good tho toxic has better accuracy and is stronger)

Weezing is a good choice, I like weezing, and if you go up against a psychic user, just switch out

drapion could be a good spikes man....he has great attack and defense...and is only weak to ground....(not so good) his toxic spikes are awsome!!! in that case roar would better suit arcanine.

He could be, but the problem with his toxic spikes are that they don't effect steel, which is one of the most common types in competative battling (Metagross, Magnezone, Skarmory...)

skarmory and gliscor are meer novelties......tho skarmory..might intrigue me depending on what paranioa brings back....ive battled skarmory before and he is truly a foe to be feared...please someone..help me choose!

Skarmory and gliscor are not novelties, gliscor is the famous heracross counter, and skarmory the famous spiker, they are extremely hard to defeat, and are awesome.

heres the only move set i can think of for weezing

    bold @leftovers
    sludgebomb
    dark pulse/flamethrower
    toxic/will o wisp
    pain split/explosion

  • Team...

    Hello,
I'd like to ask You for help. I want very good pkmn team which MUST be finnished (collected) before elite 4. But no ubers, plz. I'd like to have in my team Lucario and I also like Empoleon, but it's not necessary :) Help to get perfect team by giving me full setup, with natures, movesets, holding item and EV training advices.
    Thank You in advance.

PS. I'd also like to have FLY and SURF (and other HM's if they're useful) in movesets.
