Lol. If you're using this for competitive, no. But I assume we're still talking about In-game so uhh...

In-game: Yes, because you can still pwn everything with it. D: Competitive: No, because Fly takes two turns to use and they can switch out on the second turn. Brave Bird >> AA. And Staraptor has better things to do than Steel Wing stuff.

whats a good pokemon in the battle tower im using gengar and garchomp need a third

Well, tbh, if you want a wall like Blissey or something, go with that. Otherwise, if you want full offensive I'd go Metang@! Gyarados or whatever.

Well it is in-game so honestly you could use nearly any Pokemon. But try to fill your weakneses up and get some strong attackers.

i use the battle rev electivire as it nos ice punch to kill ground types and it nos cross chop, thunder punch and earth quake

(Yeah, this is In-game.) =p

Anyway, I just read that, and Base stats doesn't matter, also. Electrivire can't do jack to pretty much anything.

yes it can.sorry the first post didnt come up on my pc.electivire can use earthquake and crooss chop to kll rhypo, thunder punch to kill milotic and icepunch to kill dragonite

1.) Rhypo is bulky (not a wall, though) so it can survive Cross Chop.
2.) Milotic is a wall and Bold is also a benefit.
3.) Yache Berry.

yeh but what if cross chops high critical hit rate kics in.lapras can kill a slightly weakend milotic
and giv electy nevermeltice or icicle plate and ice punch should kill dragonit

=/ No. Those items aren't even used In-game iirc. o_o; Yeah, Critical Hits kinda will ko it, but it doesn't always happen. =)

i use the plates as they boost damage from curtain attacks

so its still 20%.giv electa scopelens to boost cross chops effect

Hax item in competitive and there's still pretty much nobody who uses Scope Lens in-game.

On the 20% "debate," I'll leave it to someone else since I've stayed up since 2AM and I can't remember why you don't use those somewhat... =p

i use the scope lens in game.anyway just because no body really uses an item dosnt mean that its rubbsquash.and items r good for different situations

The boost only applies to one move, and not to mention Expert Belt gives a 20% increase for all moves while Life Orb gives a 30% increase. These items are only applicable when the pokemon only has one move to attack with, and does not need Leftovers and would not appreciate Life Orb's recoil, e.g. Venomoth @ Bug Plate, Toxic Spikes / Sleep Powder / Bug Buzz / Baton Pass.

Next would be again pokemon not wanting Life Orb's recoil but needs the 20% to KO targets as opposed to the 10% Muscle Band / Wise Glasses gives, and that target is not hit SE by that specific move.

Again another example of a user of these items is a pokemon which does not desire the Life Orb recoil (thus preserving a bit of survivability), and wants to boost one or two main moves on its moveset, e.g. Kabutops @ Mystic Water, Waterfall / Aqua Jet / Stone Edge / Swords Dance.

Except for these Life Orb and Expert Belt would be superior.

---

Luck leads to an unhealthy metagame, basically the degree of uncertainty is negative to one that stresses skill over luck, much like Pokemon. Scope lens is banned because it "unfairly" raises the critical rate, while not being a broken item in itself as it only has a miniscule chance of affecting the outcome, it is still banned on the premise of promoting luck over skill.

I do not find this applicable to accuracy raising items like Wide Lens, as they actually minimise the effect of luck for the user and the opponent.
