well, we need a little more information on what you want, but most Vires use this set.

    Electivire @ Expert Belt
    Lonely
    252 atk/178spd/80sp.atk (I think that's the spread; correct me if I'm wrong.)
    Cross Chop
    Ice Punch
    Thunderbolt
    Earthquake

You'll need to attract electric users to get your Motor Drive boost. Gyarados is the best known partner of Electivire.

    Gyarados@Focus Sash/Leftovers
    Adamant nature
Unsure of EVs; someone can fill those in for me?

    Waterfall/Ice Fang
    Stone Edge/Earthquake
    Dragon Dance
    Taunt

Taunt to prevent you from being Roar'd out of the area after Dragon Dancing. If you fear a OHKO, go Focus Sash. If you go bulk, then go Leftovers. Use the above moves with one another (Waterfall and Stone Edge, Ice Fang and Earthquake) for best coverage.

To TBD_Leader: Rhyperior is best as a physical wall... Never expose to special attacks. Contents may melt.

    Rhyperior@Leftovers
    Impish nature
    Solid Rock (IMPORTANT!)
    252HP/252Def/6Atk

    Swords Dance
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Avalanche/Hammer Arm/Megahorn

Unsure of last move; designed to fit where needed.

212 HP, 16 ATK, 180 DEF, 100 SPD for Gyara.

  • ABYAY thanks for the info. With the Gyrados I was wondering could I replace him maybe with Empoleon because that's what I started the game with and it won't let me switch him out will it?

Also if I have an Electivire then use the Empoleon to draw out his electric could I possibly use a Weavile with Ice Punch as a lead then fill in the other three slots with something else? Maybe use Dialga for one of the last three slots.

The problem with Empoleon is that its stats can make it a good special sponge, and somewhat steamroller as well. (I just use steamroller to specify slow, high-powered pokemon). The main issue is Magnezone and Magnet Pull. You won't be able to attract electric types if you can't escape. I still suggest Darkknight's Gyarados set.

  • Someone ask for a Slaking moveset?

    [Slaking] @Choice Band
    EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature
    -Return
    -Earthquake
    -Pursuit/Focus Punch
    -Fire Punch

Hits a lot of things hard. Sucks he has Truant though, but eh.

  • Giga Impact with Slaking is also fun with Choice Band ^^

Alright, I've been planning a Tank set for Magnezone. I gave my friend one of these, although its EVs aren't quite the same, but it works rather nicely if it pulls its moves off.

    Magnezone@Focus Sash
    Modest nature
252 HP/180 def/72 sp. def (unsure of EVs for this set too)

    Protect (scouting a moveset somewhat)
    Thunderbolt
    Mirror Coat
    Flash Cannon

A non-hidden power set that basically tanks off a sp.atk and Mirror Coats back. Things that hope for a one-shot, think again. Any suggestions for a tanking Magnezone set? It's not designed to sponge anything, but it's to take a hit and deal back damage respectively. Modest nature to help out sp. atks.

Suicune does this quite a bit better, but if you're feeling lucky, go ahead and try it out. It would probably inflict some massive hurt with some skill.

  • I need help with a tanking set for Glaceon that uses Toxic. I have Hail taken care of, and here's my expected plan.

    Glaceon@Leftovers
    Bold/Calm nature (more to Calm)
I have no idea on EVs here.

    Ice Beam
    Toxic
    Protect
    Mirror Coat

Basically a tank that can plow back with Mirror Coat. If anyone could suggest a similar set, let me know, but it must rest along tanking.

yeah go calm as glaceon akready has good def + you want the sp def to use mirror coat. And is your planning to use it with hail, maybe go bizzard (hail puts its accuracy to 100) and with STAB packing a power of 180!

I need some help with Togekiss for my team. I was planning to train it as a supporter with Follow Me to allow some stat boosts for other team members, like Garchomp's Swords Dance etc. Togekiss has pretty good defense stats so is this a good plan? I also need help with the EVs.

    Togekiss @ Light Clay
    Bold Nature
    EV ???

    Follow Me
    Reflect
    Softboiled
    Air Slash

Because Togekiss is usually used as sweeper, I thought this would be a nice surprise.
