Earthquake always is there. Try Ice Fang, Thunderfang, or Stone Edge over Toxic. Invest some more Attack EVs instead of Defense.

IMO Hippowdon needs max Def...all physical walls do. Just look at Garchomp ._. It might be uber in our eyes, but everywhere else it isn't. Also, I'm no fan of thunder Fang or stone edge. Stone edge is utter trash on most walls and Hippowdon just doesn't have any use for Thunder Fang.

Ice Fang is cool and I use it, but the powa of Toxic cannot be denied! lol It actually is pretty good, especially when those annoying bulky waters think they can wall you...

Hi all, i need a clefable set please

Clefable@leftovers
252 HP / 252 SP.DEF / 6 DEF
Calm Nature
Trait : Magic Guard
- Softboiled
- Thunderwave
- Seismic Toss
- Reflect / Light Screen /ice Beam ./ Stealth Rock

Blissey with Weight Loss XD, its actually pretty good.

can someone give me a list of leads?

nevermind how about a lead set for metagross?

I would like to request a team based on Fire and Dragon pokemon, I have Charizard, Arcanine, and Gyrados so that leaves 2 slots open to fill with 1 HM slave.

Magmortar and Garchomp are good. Try them.

:16:

Shoddy's top 20 leads:

1 Gengar (16590 leads)
2 Bronzong (14887 leads)
3 Gyarados (12517 leads)
4 Tyranitar (11043 leads)
5 Salamence (8894 leads)
6 Yanmega (8120 leads)
7 Hippowdon (7595 leads)
8 Ninjask (7485 leads)
9 Azelf (6478 leads)
10 Infernape (6109 leads)
11 Abomasnow (5957 leads)
12 Weavile (5770 leads)
13 Swampert (5621 leads)
14 Metagross (5484 leads)
15 Crobat (4933 leads)
16 Jolteon (4682 leads)
17 Roserade (4665 leads)
18 Aerodactyl (4329 leads)
19 Zapdos (4166 leads)
20 Ambipom (3452 leads)

I'm surprised people haven't figured out DDGya is an awful lead, lol

do you know the lead set for metagross?

The moveset of Jolteon? Seeing Jolteon as an potential lead sparked my interest [sorry for so much request guys ><! trying to figure out a team and what natures, etc.]

Jolteon is primarily a BPer, usually a subpasser with Sub/BP/Thunderbolt/HP Ice. It can also pass Agility and can use Charge Beam to pass SAtk.

Metagross with a Choice Scarf is a fun lead, but CBgross or defensive sets are probably better bets since they're better sets.

is there like a defensive speedy set?

Plusle@LifeOrb/ExpertBelt
Modest/Timid
252SpAtt/252Spd/6HP
ThunderBolt
HP Ice/Fight
GrassKnot
NastyPlot
The problem with plusle/minun is that the have extremely shallow offensive movepools. This is your best bet for a sweeper, with nasty plot making up for its rather average base SpAtt. It looks like it could make a good passer, but im no good with that kind of poke.

Right, currently deciding on a moveset for Gengar, help anyone?

Gengar @ [Need help here, avoid choice specs if poss]
Hypnosis
Sludge Bomb / Shadow Ball
Destiny Bond [Defo up for swapping] - Possibly Toxic
Nightmare [Probably up for swapping]

Max Speed EVs, the rest will be on Sp.Atk. I know this is probably a terrible moveset, but I've always battled the n00b way or R/S/FR/LG, Lv. 100 vs Lv. 100, freinds only. My current team fare well on Wifi considering they're not EV trained, but I think a proper EV team would do me some good! Hence the reason for this crappy (?) Gengar.

Gengar@LifeOrb/ExpertBelt/ChoiceSpecs
Timid/Modest
252SpAtt/252Spd/6HP
Thunderbolt
HP Ice
FocusBlast
Hypnosis/ShadowBall
Standard variations right there. Nightmare is a waste as it is cured on a simple switch out. I personally prefer the specs variant with Shadowball on the last slot and timid nature, but thats the general jist of it.

Wow, that was fast! Is this any better?

Gengar @ Expert Belt/Choice specs
Hypnosis
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Toxic / Thunder

For some strange reason I have a serious desire to keep Hypnosis in there. =|
