No, this is the right place, he only wanted moves etc for them.

It also does not meet the specification needed to be a rmt, that being EVS, Natures, Items etc.

hey guys,

i was thinking of making a lead support infernape. Tell me what you guys think of this set.

Infernape (male)
Naive Nature
252 HP, 212 Speed, 44 Spec Attk
Substitute
stealth Rock
will o wisp
Focus Blast/ Fire Blast *which one?

I would try

Infernape@Focus Sash
252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 DEF
Timid nature
- Taunt / Fake Out
- Stealth Rock
- Will -o- wisp
- Flamethrower

Or something, if its an anti lead your looking for =p.

As for my query, im considering using this : -

[PokeCommunity.com] Request an Individual Move Set Thread

Spiritomb@Leftovers *THE REASON TO USE TOXIC ON BLISSEY >=)*
252 HP / 252 SP.ATT / 6 DEF
Modest nature
- Nasty Plot
- Pain Split / Taunt / Hypnosis
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden power Fighting

Nasty Plot Tomb, poops on most walls =), hits everything in the game for neutral and has the stats to pull this of if i do say so myself

However, im unsure about slot 2, suggestions ?

Infernape is one of the few faster Pokemon that sports Encore, second only to Jumpluff and Alakazam, though I wouldn't use it as a lead necessarily. What's more fun than switching into Garchomp in order to Encore their SD? Thus halting their sweep. Then you Substitute on the switch and do whatever the heck you want.

The set should look something like Substitute/Encore/WoW/Flamethrower with max EVs in Speed and maybe SpAtk or even HP.

I've actually been wondering, why not use Fire Punch on D-E?

Deoxys-E@Life Orb
Adamant
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP

Fire Punch
Superpower/Brick Break
Zen Headbutt
Rock Slide/Pursuit

Bronzong:

Fire Punch does 50.00% - 58.88% vs Standard Sassy Bronzong. (High 2HKO)

Blissey:

Superpower does 76.75% - 90.20% vs 252HP/252Def Bold Blissey. (2HKO)
Brick Break does 48.18% - 56.72% vs 252HP/252Def Bold Blissey. (Medium 2HKO)

Celebi:

Fire Punch does 35.15% - 41.34% vs 252HP/220Def Bold Celebi. (3HKO)
Pursuit does 38.61% - 45.30% vs 252HP/220Def Bold Celebi. (Switch) (3HKO)

Gengar:

Pursuit does 118.70% - 139.31% vs Standard Gengar. (OHKO)

Cresselia:

Pursuit does 2/5 of jack all vs Resttalk Cresselia. (1,000,000,000,000,000KO) >_< [/jks]

OHKO's Machamp, Heracross, Breloom with Zen Headbutt. OHKO's Tyranitar, 2HKO's Blissey, 2HKO's Resttalk Lax (Possible OHKO with Stealth Rock). I think you get the idea.

This response might be overdue but I have an opinion on this. I actually tried a CB Deoxys-S with pretty much the same set. It didn't work so I figured using a Life Orb would help it. It didn't.

The problem with physical Deoxys-S is that it just doesn't hit that hard at all. yeah it catches Bronzong by surprise, but most of its counters can heal themselves or often have wish support. Many counters to the standard set counter this set too, taking away its only real good attribute (surprise value to deal damage, basically), most notably Cresselia. The minute they catch on, your Deoxys-S is almost useless.

That and Deoxys-S as better things to be doing. It's a wonderful spiker and obviously a tremendous late game sweeper and revenge killer.

Thanks for the wonderful sets you guys posted to help me out >.>

Now, I need the following:

1) Set for a Rest-Talk Gyardos (NO DD'S PLESH)
2) Opinion on which is better: Sub Salac Heracross or Choice Band Heracross
3) Set for a reliable mixed Kingdra (HP Electric/Waterfall/Draco Meteor/Ice Beam)

1.

Gyarados@Leftovers
252 HP / 96 Atk / 80 Def / 60 Sp.Def / 20 Speed
Adamant Nature
- Toxic / Ice Fang / Stone Edge
- Waterfall
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

2.

I do not like sub and salac tbh. Choice Band, Scarf, Flame Orb, SD Life Orb + Rest Talk sets are your best bets.

3.

Kingdra@Life Orb
168 Att / 252 Sp.A / 88 Speed
Naught Nature
Trait : Swift Swim
- Draco Meteor
- Waterfall
- Surf / Hydro pump
- Rain Dance

88 speed lets you outspeed Scarf chomp in the rain. Dont even bring empoleon or gyarados up, they cannot take boosted Waterfalls or Draco Meteors respectively =).

Waterfall 2hkos Blissey with this spread.

I'm loving the sets. Now that I have my sets done, is there any glaring weaknesses before I post a RMT?

Bronzong/Gyara/Kingdra/Suicune/Heracross/Ludicolo

I was debating over Magnezone or Suicune.

As far as Sub Salac Cross goes, do you mean:

Heracross @ Salac Berry
EVs: 252 Atk / 244 Spd / 12 HP
Nature: Adamant (Atk+/SAtk-)
- Substitute
- Megahorn
- Reversal
- Swords Dance

Or did you mean this?

Heracross @ Salac Berry
EVs: 252 Atk / 248 Spd / 8 HP
Nature: Adamant (Atk+/SAtk-)
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
- Megahorn
- Close Combat

If you meant the former, there's too many Hippowdons and Tyranitars out there for that to work. You'll never get a shot off. If you meant the latter, he's an excellent late game sweeper, but he too suffers Sandstream issues. Also Stealth Rock ruins much attempt to Reversal because it throws off your HP calcs. The second one though isn't really based on HP calcs as much (he's supposed to get berry activation at 25%, but at 12% works too if there's no sandstorms out).

CB Hera is generally better, but the other can be good if you are facing certain teams. Either could work though.

By Sub Salac I meant the latter. Sorry, my computers messed up and I thought I posted the SubSalacSD set.

how does the species clause work with having scyther and scizor

Wrong thread, try the Simple Q&A thread, but to answer your question: Scyther and Scizor are two different Pokemon, it applies to the same type of Pokemon (ie. Two Blastoise)

how does the species clause work with having scyther and scizor

* Species Clause (You may only use one of the same Pokémon per team, eg. Only 1 Charizard, but you may use a Charmander and/or Charmeleon too).

Its just the same pokemon that more than one are prohibited when used on the same team, Scyther and Scizor are not the same poke, so one of each would be allowed on the same team.

Could anyone make me a moveset for a Kyogre and a Luxray?

They are like partners in crime. -shot'd-

Okay, so I always or usually send these two out first in double battles, and I'm wonding what moveset I can give them to compliment each other. At the mo ive got:

Luxray:
With leftovers
-Spark
-Thunder
-Thunder fang
-Crunch

Kyogre (pretty much untouched since i caught him in emerald)
With Chesto Berry
-Hydro Pump
-Surf
-Rest
-Double-Edge

Thank you!

Kyogre @ Choice Scarf
Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/252 Speed/6 HP

- Surf
- Thunder
- Ice beam
- Water Spout

Water Spout + Rain + STAB + Full HP + First move = Serious hurt. Thunder gets 100% accuracy under rain, Ice Beam hurts the dragons and Surf is there for STAB when your HP is low. The standard set, I believe, thus the most expected, but no less powerful. Remember though, Kyogre is a member of the Uber tier, and I'm not sure how well Luxray would fare in the dizzy heights of Ubers.

I'm not really good with Luxray, somebody else could help you there.

Spark and Thunder Fang are the same move. Don't use them both. Thunder and Spark are also frowned on together, just use Thunder if you're going with Rain Dance-based strategy. Also Luxray isn't the best electric Pokemon to use with Kyo anyway. Jolteon would do much better, as would Ampharos/Raichu/Zapdos. Luxray is physical and Thunder is special. The others I named have higher special stats and are more adept at using Thunder.

I'll give you a sweeping EV spread for Kyogre, there's a more defensive one too. Since you're seeming to be aiming for a PBR-ish team, this one is better.

Kyogre @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
- Water Spout
- Calm Mind
- Thunder
- Ice Beam

Since Kyogre is a legendary, use whatever nature he has since you can't breed for new ones.

Need some help with Pikachu future Raichu. Im new so i dont mind starting over.

Current

Pikachu Lvl 35

Nature: Adament/Likes to fight
252 ATK 252 SPD

Thunderbolt
Feint
Agility
Volt Tackle

Just soft re-sett for one ?

Surf >> Water Spout if your using it like that, Kyogre is not the fasters uber and its stab move will just loose power once youve calm minded up, due to most probably getting hit.

Blegh....

Raichu@Life Orb
252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
Mild Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Grass Knot / Hidden power Ice
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Punch

Thanks everyone ^^ Yeah, I'm using it for PBR. xD I just use my favourites for it, so thats why Im using Luxray and not Jolteon etc. ^^ Thanks!
