froslass@focus sash
snow cloak
timid nature
shadow ball
destiny bond
hail
blizzard

should i replace shadow ball with thunder bolt?

Basically if you want hail use Abomasnow support. Otherwise use this set, if you want a lead that is.

Froslass@Focus Sash
Timid Nature
252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 W/E
- Spikes
- Destiny Bond
- Taunt
- Ice Beam / Shadow Ball

When played right, this thing is a real pain.

Either that or check here since Froslass can do alot.

I don't really know about your Venusaur, but for Gengar GET Focus Blast - no pokemon in this game resists Ghost / Fighting combination. If you REALLY don't like the accuracy, try HP fighting, but you'll lose a LOT of power. You may want a STAB Sludge Bomb if you're crazy, although not really recommended, since many of the Steel types (especially Steelix who is immune to thunderbolt) will comepletely wall it.

i need help im building a team and im missing a pokemon
my team
Charizard
-Fly Air Slash (Fly is a physical move, and is a 2-turn move which gives a free turn for the opponent to set up. Go with Air Slash if you need a flying move)
-Overheat Dragon Pulse (Fire Blast already takes care of the job, go with Dragon Pulse for type coverage)
-sunny day Focus Blast (Focus Blast is another great type coverage, although the accuracy's a little shaky, besides, you really don't get much out of Charizard using Sunny Day except for Fire Blast)
Fire blast

(Comment
: Charizard is a great pokemon overall, but it is cursed with a 4x Rock weakness - which means you will get 50% off once Stealth Rock gets you.)

Venasaur
-Toxic / Sleeping Powder / Substitute (okay move with Leech Seed; may replace with Sleeping Powder or Substitute)
-Sludge Bomb (horrible Coverage, but better than nothing)
-Energy Ball (Main Attack)
-Power Whip Leech Seed (Special Attacks are better way to go for Venusaur, use Leech Seed)

(Comment: Venusaur is not that great in my opinion as in stats or typing, but if you want a Leech Seed staller, go for it.)

Gliscor
-Aerial Ace
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-U-turn

(Comment: Looks good, and Gliscor is a great physical wall with a respectable Attack. Just watch out for ice attacks.)

Floatzel
-Surf Waterfall (Why use surf when you've got a physical Waterfall to work with a 20% flinch chance and great speed from Floatzel? :P)
-Crunch (Good)
-Iron tail Ice Fang (Iron Tail has poor accuracy and Steel isn't the best offensive types around - go with Ice Fang for great coverage)
-Rain dance / Return / Brick Break (Actually works with Floatzel + Swift Swim, but if you're using Charizard as main, don't use it as it will weaken Fire Blast; use Return or Brick Break.)

(Comment: Floatzel's a pokemon with respectable attack and great speed. However, it's pretty fragile, so don't expect it to sweep a team.)

Heracross(I'm changing for lucario)
-Brick Break Stone Edge (Why use 2 fighting moves when you've got a 120BP Close Combat and a great rock attack called Stone Edge? :P Stone Edge saves you from Flying types who will eat Heracross for lunch.)
-Close Combat (Good)
-Megahorn (Good)
-Bulk Up / Night Slash (Either works, but I prefer Night Slash, for hitting Ghosts and Psychics.)

(Comment: Heracross is one of the most scariest pokemons in OU tier, so why not use it? Lucario is also great, and has about the similar reputation as it, except it has hight Special Attack at the cost of lower Attack.)

I'm thinking normal, psychic* or ghost maybe

Changes are made in the quote. I'd recommend you to make either a UU tier team, since some of them are bad in OU or an excellent in UU (You can't use Heracross / Lucario or Gliscor though, as they are banned from UU battles) If you are using Charizard, get a good Rapid Spinner like Forretress or Claydol, since losing 50% HP per switch isn't all that nice.

Can you please rate the moveset for my Aggron?

Aggron
Strength
Fire Blast
Double Edge
Solar Beam

You need to explain why; don't leave us hanging.

Hail commits minimum damage and wastes a turn of no attack. A Pokémon that causes it to hail when they are called out into battle would be much better if someone needed to use hail, but for the most part blizzard is a stronger attack and does probably as much as, if not more damage than the hail all together. Hail is the move I would get rid of.

You do know that the reason i have have hail is because it makes blizzards accuracey 100% and frosslass' ability raises its evasivness in hail.i dont really use hail for damage.

I dont really know what your trying to do with this aggron, but from what he already has i guessed that you want an all out attacker.Use this

Stone Edge
~ Aqua Tail /Earthquake or superpower or focus punch(if you dont have platinum that is)
~ Double-Edge
~ Earthquake / Superpower / Focus Punch

Gliscor
-Ice FANG
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-U-turn

also cary i would replace aerial ace with ice fang

Is there a gas leak in this thread? Does no one not realize that these last few posts has been obviously made by non compettitive battlers? Just by looking at the most of these sets, you can tell that these pokes are either in game, or that the posters has no idea what they are doing. Why is more advice being given? Especially without any EV sets or the like. Just point them to the direction of the stickies.

Anyway, I need a set for a UU Cradily.

Fair enough. In so case, ignore my suggestion. I can't remember who I was replying to anyway... It could have been you I'm not sure. Either way, I think it was for a different Pokémon... I should check that.

Oh wait, it was a reply to you. Sorry.

Anyway, I need a set for a UU Cradily.

Don't use Cradily Sims. It's setup fodder and easily overpowered by a great deal of the UU metagame.

Victreebel, Cacturne, Vileplume, Venusaur are all much better Grass-types to use in UU.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't intend to use it over any of the other grass types. But it's for a cheesy tourny involving set rules. Needless to say, I got my hands tied.

Incidentally, what is a good Venasaur set?

My personal favorite is:

Venusaur @ Life Orb / Leftovers
Nature: Modest
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Speed
Overgrow

Leaf Storm
Sludge Bomb
HP Fire / Synthesis
Sleep Powder

I prefer Life Orb over Leftovers for more power. If you can't get HP Fire, Synthesis is a great option to heal off recoil from LO. Without HP Fire though, you're helpless against Steel-types. Sleep Powder will shut down Venusaur's counters.

No, dont ever full out attack with it. Slow start cripples its physical attacks and clefable/everything runs a specs set better.

Regigigas@Leftovers
252 HP / 76 Def / 180 Sp.Def
Relaxed Nature
- Knock Off
- Thunderwave
- Stomp
- Earthquake / Thunderbolt

Support set. Regifail is a wall and should be used as thus. T-Wave + Stomp allow you to para flinch stuff whilst Knock Off is a great move to screw things up. Last slot is mainly a filler.

You could Try Hidden Power Ice/Icy Wind + Thunderbolt in the last 2 slots too.
