How would I distribute my version I make through Pokemon Essentials?

Can it be converted into a ROM and played on an emulator?

Must others have Pokemon Essential to play?

    How does it work?

It is not a ROM and it could not be converted into a ROM.

Others do not need RPG Maker XP or Pokemon Essentials to play it. You simply need to compile the game and send yhe compiled game to them.

    Okay thank you.

Also, can the icon/title of the window be edited?

Where the minimize/maximize/close buttons are. The orange shape and the words "Pokemon essentials"

and PE seems very versatile, but what can NOT be edited?

The requirements are the RPG Maker XP ones, but is need more power that a conventional RPG Maker XP game.

Only with external program like Resource Hacker (ResHacker).

I've noticed from experience that midi files won't play if RMXP (rtp mainly) isn't installed.
Otherwise, I don't think you need to do anything accept do what IceGod64 said.
