    DP76:「レストラン七つ星！タッグバト ルでフルコース!!」
    Restaurant Seven Stars! Tag Battles for a Full-course Meal!!

    Air date: 24 April

    Summary: Ash & co. have a reunion with their old friend, May, who is going to attend the Contest to be held by Wallace. They decide to have lunch in a well-known restaurant nearby, however the owner of the restaurant, who has a crush on Pokemon battles, says that only the winners of the tag battles can enjoy the full-course meal. Thus Ash & Brock are partnered; so are Dawn & May.

    It was confirmed to be the new title.

    Since Wallace's first appearance is covered on a separate thread (the Contest Master one), I want to focus on May's big return and possible speculation/by-products only. So, direct all that here.

    Have at it. My opinion later on.
     
    You could ahve quoated me! XD Anyway yeah I'm happy. Just to clarify some things,

    FAQ 1:
    Whats May doing in Sinnoh? She should be in Johto competing in Contests!
    A: Battle Fronteir was only how many episodes? She only needs five ribbons, so she isn't like Ash competing for Badges. Not to mention she isn't in a group so they don't need to stop and help people every episode. She may actually jsut be visting but chances are she maybe done with Johto and in Sinnoh now to see things.

    FAQ 2:
    Will Eevee of evolved?
    Maybe maybe not, it may have evolved but time will tell.

    FAQ3:
    Where are they?
    Based on the title and where they are going they are most likely around lake Valor so the contest maybe at the Valor Lakefront.

    FAQ 4:
    Will TG (Ginga-dan) be making an appearane?
    Possibly if it is an arc, remember in the games they do, but also remember this could take place after the games because Saturn seems to be the leader.

    FAQ 5:
    What are Wallace's pokemon?
    Though it really only has to do with the Arc, according to the summary he is looking at a Milotic. So one would assume that is his. That's all that's been revealed, but maybe the rest of his team is there too.

    One more thing this was confirmed on Bulbagarden. So if it is wrong please don't hurt me. They said it was true and I'm going by them.

    Oh great! May is making an appearance. Finally Ash will remember her XD hehe

    I wonder if she's gonna have a new costume design. Most likely, this will be the case.
    I was sorta hoping for May VS Dawn but this is just as good I guess =)

    You've answer my question, BUT May is traveling in Johto with Solledad, Drew Harley and Robert remember? And remember Grand Festival is once a year only. Contest is not like battling Gym, The road in Contest is more harsh, in Grand Festival about thousands of people try to compete, but only 60s or 70s people can be semi-finals, thus only one can be winner. May isn't that always so lucky, that she could compete in Grand Festivals, we have example who were unlucky like Dawn and Zoey they both lost at Contest for consecutives times.

    Hohoho!I would like to see May's Squirtle and Dawn's Piplup using Bubblebeam together at the same time - Double Bubblebeam
    and I think that May or May's Squirtle shoule teach Dawn's Piplup to use the Ice Beam move, just like Kenny's Breloom - taught Ash's Turtwig to use Energy Ball.

    As long as they don't pull on May what they did on Misty in her sole Hoenn appearance, I'll be fine. You know the "Off-screen, she and Ash have been in contact with each other without mentioning a word?" And there was nothing mentioned/alluded on the Broadcasting System episodes, either. If May randomly appears in this one, I suppose I can live with that (beats the alternative).

    Of course, then, there is the fact May haven't been referenced in D/P to any extent (unless that changed as I don't watch the Japanese versions), so this smacks of fan-service. More so, when the fact Wallace is there, a video game character people wanted to see converted to the anime.

    I don't wish to whine, but after what happened to Misty, I hope the same doesn't happen to May. That said, about time on the part of the writers.

    Well no, if I recall in the Japanese version she is traveling alone and going to meet Soari and Shuu there to compete. They are;t going to travel together. Fair enough that it's only once a year, but whose to say that contests were't going on already. Like I said look at the Kanto grand Festivalo much shorter than DP is going on so she can, she may have not even won, but thats it.
     
    This will most likely be one of the few episodes I've watched of the D/P season since I stopped last year. May was my favourite character and I'll probably just watch the upcoming episodes for her return. I do hope it isn't too short-lived and at least makes it more appealing and rather extraordinary than the some of the other D/P episodes that've aired.

    And of course, Eevee better have evolved. xD
     
    It's sad because I'm pretty sure when Ash sees her, he probably won't be surprised [though he should be] and he would just shake hands [though he should give her a hug].

    I wonder if she'll have a new outfit(doubtful, but it doesn't hurt to hope, right?)

    I'm guessing her Eevee will either be a Glaceon or a Leafeon. That's probably one reason for her appearance in the first place.
     
    She'll probably have her Emerald Outfit.... Or the same, or a completely different one

    if that's the case, it's more likel to be Leeafeon than Glaceon =/

    I wanted to see may have a Glaceon! >.<

    May was the second best character in the series. Does Wallace still use the same pokemon like he does in the games?

    Have you guys ever think that, what would May react when she see Dawn's Ambipom[or Ash's Aipom in previous season]? She knows Ash's Aipom right?

    As far as everyone knows so far all that's been revealed ina summary is Milotic. Ill add that to the FAQs.

    Well after seeing how May just been forgotten it is kinda amazing that they even remember to give her a cameo. Teeheehee I mean the SO many refrences.

    I think another question that needs to be answer is what new pokemon does May have? Does she now has a Snorlax instead of a Munchlax?

    Well I think May is just taking a break from her tour of Johto to visit Ash and take part in Wallance's contest that it seems like he is hosting. Still really I kinda hope and I bet Charaxes is hoping that May and Ash and friends kinda meet up together by accident. Like May was invited by Wallance to take part in this contest of his and Ash and Friends just happen to be in the area because they are or Dawn has plans to enter this contest too.

    OH! I wonder what she would think of Dawn having Ash's what was an Aipom. Teeheehee

    Hohohoho, I'm not angry with you, infact I'm happy that someone else think that too!!
    Talk about May's reaction, we know that Aipom evolve into Aibipom, but May didn't know she evolved, so that would be a double big surprize!! Btw in JP version TR used to call May, 'chari garu'(brat girl), but the name is 'preceded' by Dawn, so what would they call her?
    To be honest, I really want her to travel with them, wouldn't it be more better if she travel with them, even about 80 episodes. So that would make the team balance - 2 boys and two girls. There's no need to be balance though...

    I wanted the writers to make this: Ash won his Gym battle in Canalave City and Dawn won her Contest as well .[I assume that there's a Contest Hall there, most city in the anime feature Contest Hall in big cities] Then May decided to leave the group, as May is relieved that Dawn had already improve in Contest.
    -So what will May do during she's traveling with them?
    She'll be a mentor to Dawn, due to Dawn's consecutive lost in contest. [I'm not mocking Dawn!! I like her how could I do that!?]
    -Then why Canalave City?
    There's a pier in that city right? That would more make sense if she leave in that episode.
    [The thing I don't understand is, why does the anime don't actual follow the in game place, for example like they add pier in Littleroot Town, but I can't even see any water in that town in game versions! They even add a Contest Hall in Solaceon Town, which isn't really feature in that town in games! Finally, some Pokemon are 'amazing', I know that Jessiebelle's Dustox has Stun Spore]
     
    It's a great episode only one thing that annoys me.

    - Wallace WAS a gym leader.
    - Is Wallace still a gym leader like he was in the games? (Ruby/Sapphire)

    - Did Wallace quit being a gym leader?

    That's all I would like answered.
     
    May's coming back! Woot! You know, I've been rewatching the Hoenn saga and these episodes make me really miss May. After that last Battle Frontier episode when she left I was wondering what female could the writers make up? Then Hikari entered the picture, I love Hikari, but I gotta admit her contest loses make it hard to tell who's better? May or Dawn? May has lost a couple contests in Hoenn and like 1 in Kanto but those others win make me lead more to May. I'm not mocking Dawn, but she could be better, I mean sometimes you lost but geez she should have at least won the Hearthome Convention, but that's another topic. Anyway, I wonder what new Pokemon May will have? She'll probarly still have Blaziken (I would), Snorlax (hopefully), Squirtle (wouldn't be awesome if Squirtle evolved into a Wartortle?), As with Eevee, people keep saying Eevee will have one of her Sinnoh evolutions, but I would be satisfied even if it was a Umbreon, or an Espeon, through Leafeon intrigues me. I wish Max would come back too, but oh well, just seeing May's return is enough for me.
