Plot:

After having defeated their Titan predecessors, the Greek gods and goddesses ruled upon Mount Olympus, believing the worst was behind them. They lived as they wished, testing mortals and demigods alike and sending many on quests. Some gods helped the heroes, some made life difficult for them. Famous heroes include Hercules, son of Zeus, Odysseus, descendent of Hermes, Theseus, son of Poseidon, and they all performed incredible feats.
Though, while the gods were having their fun with the mortals, the Titans were scheming. They had been defeated, but that had only fueled their rage and hatred for the gods. Since the day they were banished into Tartarus, the Titans laid in waiting, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. A moment when the gods had lowered their guard, and stopped expecting the Titans' return.
Originally, the world was only populated with humans, animals, and plants, with the gods watching over them. Each god had their own jobs, such as Ares with wars and violence, and Hera with families and marriage, but as the world evolved, so did the gods.
It is the year 30XX, and the world is drastically different from how you know it. Due to chemical radiation, pollution, and many other factors, the world's lifeforms mutated. Humans were able to resist mutation as they discovered how to deal with it quickly, and developed antibodies, but the rest of the lifeforms, well, they were not as fortunate. Soon, these new mutations began developing powers, and with the help of science, humans were able to develop a device that could capture these new creatures to harness the powers, which they dubbed as pocket balls, shortened to poké balls. With this name, soon came about the name pocket monsters, which was similarly shorted to pokémon.
The gods did not help as they felt it was the humans fault that pokemon now existed. Instead, they did nothing and said that the humans should learn from their own mistakes and make do with what they made the Earth to be. Though, as humans rely on gods, vice versa is the truth as well. With these new creatures popping up, the gods had to learn how to incorporate them as well in their jobs and soon, rather than gods of war and the sun, they became gods of Flying-Types and Water-Types.
Now with the world so changed and the gods so busy having to deal with these new ways of life, they forgot the imminent threat of the Titans. Thus, the Titans had gained their chance. They ambushed Olympus and with the gods so occupied, they lost without even getting a chance to put up a real fight.
With the gods defeat, they have no choice but to rely on their demigod children to avenge them, and defeat the Titans. Now child, can you handle the return of the Titans?

You:
You are the child of Greek god or goddess. Each god has their own types that they rule over. As their child, you may only use pokémon of your divine parent's types, but dual typing is alright. Also, as a demigod, you only have 1 godly parent, but each parent has 2 types, as to create more diversity. You are allowed 3 pokémon to use. The setting is Kanto, and Mt. Olympus is at the Indigo Plateau. You will progress from the hometown of your choosing, increasing your strength along the way. At the end, all players will meet at the Plateau to face the Titans. In order to be allowed to go to the Plateau, I, the GM will decide so, when I deem every players team worthy for the 'Challenge'. After being deemed worthy, the player will face their godly parent in a battle. Only then, is are they strong enough to face the ultimate foe, the Titans.

Proud Daughter of Hephaestus

Hometown/Starting Point: Lavander Town

Background: Cressilie Savich grew up in Lavander Town near the local orphanage close to the church. She never knew about her parents at all, except when the Shaman there told Cress about how her mother mysteriously left her at the doorsteps of the church wrapped in a blanket. The Shaman tried going after her mother, but she attended to the wailing baby in her arms and named her Cressilie Savich after seeing the name written on an old pendant she wore. Truth be told, Cressilie didn't mind the fact she was abandoned on purpose, although she sometimes envied the children at her school who bragged about her parents. But, she was thankful she had a good life in the orphanage, although that was as good as it got. So it's only natural that on one of the ordinary days for the carefree Cress that something strange were to happen. Near the age of ten, Cressilie was in her night shift visiting and taking care of the church when all of a sudden, a bug gust of wind blew inside, making the fire spread everywhere in the church. Panicking, she tried screaming for help, but no one could hear her. She continued to scream and fret when the fire inched closer to her. She screamed even more when the fire slowly crawled up her skin, but to her confusion, the fire felt... welcoming. She started to wave her arm around, and the fire swirled, mimicking her movements. She then passed out in astonishment.

The moment she wakes up, she finds herself lying on the floor, and there load no sign of the fire. She'd began to convince herself that this was a dream when a Litwick suddenly appeared in front of her, and threw small fire balls at Cress. Her instinct made her catch the little fire balls that sent warmth in her and threw them back. The Litwick must have seen what she could do before, because it then lead her to the tower, where it guided her to a secret compartment inside, and soon she was face to face with an ancient drawing of a god controlling fire, although she couldn't recall who he was. So for the next six years, Cressilie became distant, kept to herself, and constantly watched everyone else. The cheerful, carefree girl was gone, and in her place was someone who knew what her secret could do to her. She did her duties at school and in the orphanage, but she sneaked off at night, smuggled books about ancient times, and she learned how to mend and control her powers with her Litwick. Of course, she avoided fire when she was around people to advert her secret being discovered. She planned on traveling and figuring out how to know what she is, but of course she couldn't leave her orphanage until she was old enough to roan, so she started to work in the humble Pokemon Mart at sixteen. She worked efficiently, but she kept her eyes opened for anything odd, or someone that seemed odd. She did what she was told, but never told anyone about her ability to control fire. So once she was 18, she decided to go to Saffron City, where she used an excuse to look for a job to go. Litwick decided to follow her, and so she set off. She managed to get a menial job as a waitress in a small café, and it wasn't long before she met an archeologist, and she carefully questioned his career. Cress found out about the sudden rise of Mt. Olympus, and how only those worthy of the challenge may pass. He mentioned that they had connections to the gods, but couldn't find much out. After that, she transitioned herself to becoming a trainer, and she gracefully raised her Litwick all the way to a Chandelure. She also stumbled upon mega evolution, and she raised a Beldum to a Metagross for those purposes, and raised an abandoned Larvesta she found to a Volcarona. Now, taking her vacation days from the café, she moved back to Lavander Town, where she found out her mistress died of a fatal stroke, and now the orphanage was in trouble of being demolished. Using the money she saved up, she gave it up to maintain the place that had raised her open, and so she now visits her training grounds and practices with fire.

Also, I don't see a Poison/Dragon type. I can't think of any Olympian for it though. Dionysus comes to mind, but I am not sure.

Also, are we allowed Mega Pokemons?

It was a song my mother used to sing to me. It goes like this.

"Down, the River Styx, baby don't cry.
Papa will meet you in the afterlife.

Fiara Goodlife​

27 years old | Celadon City​

Appearance: Fiara is a charming lady, as befits the trainer class she has chosen to become. She has medium-length brown hair that is always kept in place by a flowery pin, which holds her keystone. She has small green eyes that seemed to match the color of the gemstone, emerald. Her skin is medium in tone, and is unmarked by any kind of blemishes.

She stands at a good height of 5"7', a height that is remarkable of a woman her age. She's got long and skinny arms and legs. Her hands became smooth from her handling with various Grass-type Pokemon.

Background: Fiara Goodlife was born on the city of Celadon. Her mother rushed herself to the hospital alone, as the story goes. When asked about the husband or the father, her mother only said that she will deliver the baby without any questions asked. The hospital listed the father as deceased. However, the birth was fine. Fiara was a healthy, little baby, and up until her childhood she had been lively. Things started to change however when Fiara turned six. She suddenly developed so many kinds of diseases her mother never knew. She, Fiara, had been a regular visitor to the doctors.

Her mother tried everything to soothe the pain her child was undergoing. She tried therapies, non-invasive surgeries, etc. Nothing worked until the city's Gym Leader, Erika's mother, brought Fiara under her tutelage at the age of fourteen. There, she had been in contact with Grass-type Pokemon, the type the city's gym was specializing in. In one way or another, the environment helped soothe the little lady of her pains, eventually reducing her diseases to episodes once in a while. She had been healthy, generally, for almost ten years then.

Fiara, due to her training, became a Gym Trainer for the next leader, Erika. However, despite her interactions with the Grass-type, she never developed the attitude to raise them. In fact, she became obsessed with Ghost-types and Dark-types, to the surprise of everybody who knew her. Fiara was a happy child, raised by a well-off mother, and trained by the equally fair Gym Leader. How could she have known to appreciate the wild beauty of the unknown? Nobody knows. She was given a Phantump as a starting Pokemon, a Grass-type to sync her with the gym, but also a Ghost-type. It delighted her so much.

Training never came easy to Fiara and Trent, her starting Pokemon. They were always the black Mareep in the crowd of trainers, Grass-specialists. She learned to only further the strength of her Pokemon, capturing two more Pokemon, none of which are Grass-types. Despite of this outcast feeling, she retains no anger or hatred in her heart. Her love for her own Pokemon and the gratitude she has for caretakers spurred her forward.

Name: Arion

Age: 23

Hometown/Starting Point: Viridian City

Appearance: Arion has shoulder-length straight light blonde hair, light blue eyes, and a pale complexion. He is tall and slender, and also looks slightly androgynous. His normal attire usually consists of a vibrantly colored jacket and khaki pants to match. In his hair, there are random scales, most likely fallen from the wings of his butterfly pokemon.

Background: Arion was born in the Viridian Forest, and grew up being molded by a life lived amongst the trees. His mother, known as Demeter, raised him directly for most of his life and he wanted for nothing. When he started to grow older, Demeter decided to allow him to leave the forest he grew up in and to experience life as a regular human being. By the time he was 20, he was already well known as bug-type trainer and had been considered as beautiful and fragile as the butterflies he trained.

Arion is calm and collected most of the time, purposefully giving off an air of peace and tranquility. He flirts with every girl he meets, knowing that he can get away with it on looks alone. He is often mistaken for a girl, which is his greatest pet peeve. He has a tendency to be hostile towards other men his age, but once it is established that he is seen as a guy in their eyes, he drops the hostility and treats them as he would a normal person.

His greatest weakness would be his fear of fire and lightning. Being raised in a forest, his fears are that of a tree or forest animal. Even one spark can set a forest ablaze, and with that in mind, he stays away from open fires and finds cover during storms.

His talents are derived from his mother directly. He has an affinity to bug and grass type pokemon, and can always feel what the forest as a whole feels. He can sense the feelings of trees, and can tell what the current situation from how the trees portray it. His greatest talent however is his command of bug pokemon.
Godly Parent: Demeter (technically, Arion is a child of Demeter and Poseidon, but he was also a horse. Poseidon is cool, but everyone wants to be a child of him, and I want to use bug pokemon.)

Okay, a few quick questions; are we meant to just post alone until ultimately meeting at the Plateau, or are we allowed to mingle and meet before that as well? Also, by "increasing t your strength along the way", do you mean that we'll be doing Gyms, or just fighting random Pokémon we encounter, or something else?

Just trying to figure out what exactly we'd be doing in the rp.

@GoldenHouou you will all ultimately meet there in the end but mingling is up to you, you guys can meet up/team up mid-rp anytime as long as in-story you two(or however # of people) are in the same location/area. Strengthening is up to you. you can challenge gyms or battle other trainers/RPers. evolutions and learning new moves have to be logical (like no instant first-post evolution, unless you make a really good reason/post). To challenge you, every now and then i'll bring in a tough enemy/job/situation for you to face. RP is completely up to you. you can even join Team Rocket, become its leader for instance, anything within reason. More battles you do, the more stronger you get. the more missions or jobs that you do, you get stronger (I will post missions for you guys to do that can make you considered to be 'strengthened'). Basically best ways to strengthen up= trainer/wild battles, gyms, join a gang, join law enforcement, do a mission, become a gym leader, etc.

3 pokemon max, but you're free to capture new pokemon of your typing, as long as you somehow incorporate the release or 'boxing' of one of your current pokemon. this kind of rp post can lead to a sort of strengthening too (of a mental kind) like how Ash releasing his Butterfree since Butterfree wanted to go with its mate and to appease its wishes Ash let him. it doesn't have to be as heartfelt or sad but like some kind of tale to reason with the release/boxing of one of your pokemon.
preferably you'd not catch pokemon but you can if you follow that guidline.

Nathan was born in Pewter town to archeologists who traveled around the world to different regions collecting artifacts and going on expeditions for the Pewter City Museum of Archeology. Nathan was born frail and sickly so he was unable to get a normal education at the Pokemon school so he poured over the vast expanse of books and information available at the museum and it's library. His scores on tests were almost always correct, and would occasionally intern at professor oak's lab. Nathan, although very shy about it, had acute psyonic abilities, which his father accredited to his extraordinary intelligence. Often his father, after exceptionally long excursions, would bring home gifts such as artifacts from long lost civilizations or very rarely a Pokemon. a natural affinity with the battlefield and his high intellect, Nathan achieved prowess over his peers in battling. his time alone with only his pokemon for company has made Nathan a quiet, but quirky person. his sharpness helps him out in conversation, but otherwise he is a very reserved and socially awkward person with a unique personality.

Name: Gelius Gold

Starting town: Vermilion City (Hometown is Cinnabar)

Appearance:

The logo on his gloves is from Cinnabar Academy, a university where he studied.

Background: Gelius was born in Cinnabar Island. All started when his mother was alone and was giving to birth. His birth proceed to have no troubles. The hospital and the cops think that the father was disappeared. Gelius was healthy as well as his mother, Clarice Gold. However, Clarice died from an hearth attack. Gelius had no parents at just 4 years old. But instead going to the orphanage, Blaine sent him to an employee of the lab and also Gym Trainer. Gelius was not so happy, after his mother death. The Gym Trainer cared for Gelius... But everything changed when he turned 10.

Gelius was with his friends, and suddenly knew that the person who Gelius was living with, disappeared too. Gelius was very sad. Gelius did not wanted to go to an orphanage but he couldn't live alone at the island. Blaine himself kept Gelius at the lab until he could find a place. Blaine treated Gelius as a son and Gelius treated Blaine as a father. When Gelius turned 12, he had a first contact with a Pokemon. Blaine and Gelius were watching the Seafoam Islands. Gelius saw a Sneasel and asked Blaine if he could get one. Blaine kept his promise and gave Gelius a Sneasel (Which was called SneaSlash).

When Gelius turned 16, he started to study about Pokemon Battles. Gelius had already caught a Squirtle and evolved it, and had caught a Totodile. Blaine had offered him a place as Gym Trainer. Gelius quickly accepted. He developed more his feelings with Pokemon as well with other people. Gelius also started to play dice, cards, billiard, poker and other casino games because he loved it. He bought an indestructible billiard cue (which later he discovered that has a Keystone). He was very different then when he was a kid.

When Gelius turned 18, left Blaine's Lab to go to the Cinnabar Academy, a university where he was dreaming to go to study. He kept the Gym Trainer position, yet he never appeared in the training, which lead into argues with Gym Trainers and other people. At Cinnabar Academy, he made friends. He enjoyed the parties, pulled good marks, etc.

When he was 20, he finished the university, went to Seafoam Islands, and suddenly, a gigantic wave had hit the cave. However, instead being underwater, the water was surrounding him like a whirlpool. Gelius lifted his arm and it created a path by the water. Believing that it was a dream, Gelius kept going. When he reached to a safe zone with no water, he was wondering what happened. When he snapped his fingers (when he had an idea of what happened), all the water became ice. Gelius was so confused and passed out.

Back at the lab, Gelius tried to discover what happened. He discovered that he was all normal. He then tried that his Totodile splashed his face. Somehow, the water felt good. He believed that gained new powers and was relieved that Blaine did not saw what he did at Seafoam.

At his 24 years old, he was getting bored, until he heard about Mt. Olympus. But he didn't had the Soul Badge, so surfing was not an option to start his adventure to go to Mt. Olympus. Luckily Lt. Surge was visiting Blaine and was going to leave on his boat. Gelius managed to convince Blaine and Surge to take him to Vermilion... Now that he was on the Vermilion City, his adventure was about to start.

Gelius is a very smart guy and loves to play billiards (he can't aim without his billiard cue) and other casino games. His love for Ice and Water type is big, even though it wasn't very appreciated in Cinnabar Island. He is able to sacrifice himself for the people who he cares for and for Pokemon too. He is, however, a little bit reckless (Because he left Cinnabar with no money, no items in exception of his hat, his goggles, his billiard cue with a Keystone, the Cinnabar Academy gloves, and 5 Pokeball). He is also stubborn and likes to give nicknames to his friends (exception of Blaine, who he treats him as a sensei). He was also very popular at Cinnabar Island and has the nickname "Flirty Boy". His nickname tells everything, when he sees a girl he likes, he tries to flirt her. He is doing this all the time. Gelius thinks that Pokemon and Human are Partners, and is very talented on Pokemon battles.

Guess what... I'm not that noob at editing... I made a better image of my character. Plus i think i have a lot of characters with brown hair so i keep it black.

P.S.: Just to edit the gloves took me 1 hour, putting the symbol of the University on them took 2 minutes and looking for a key stone took me 3 hours. Editing it took me 1 hour for having the wrong one.

almost all the greek gods are extended family. i bet we're gonna follow Percy Jackson logic, and if we're not i'm suggesting it.
