Revolution control.

OO you are right about sony.

Well I said, it is a futuristic controller, it have lots of cool things, but for some people it will be hard to use that one. o and i saw the video. If there will be a normal version, it will be cool, that way we can normally play cool games like Super smash bros meele, and resident evil(they are supposed to be to all nintendo consoles).
Oh really? Resident Evil 5 isn't currently in production for NR, but is for PS3 and X360...

I'd really like to know how they're going to all be for Nintendo consoles...

^to the above poster: uh huh, and you bothered to reply to this topic why?

theres more to a controler than its looks, and learn to spell ugly.
anyways, I think this new controler will be pretty cool, I'll buy the "notmal version" attachement (sp?) as soon as it come sout, but its pretty cool. the only thing I hope they upgrade (or is already one it, I just haven't heard) is the option to turn off the motion sensitive laser thing and play normally.
Fugly isn't mispelling ugly...

I almost wanted to cry when I saw the Revolution video...

I have readed many articles, and most of them said that Capcom said that all the resident evils will be in nintendo consoles, though, i know it was only announced to 360 and Ps3. Maybe is that it will be difficult to make the game for Revolution, since the controller is strange and lacking in some buttons.

Well, my opinions pretty much stand as the same as Triforce89's, but here's a picture of the Wavebird like shell of the remote for those who have not seen it yet.

That's not the actual controller shell, it's just a mock-up that IGN made. The real one hasn't been revealed yet.

And to people who hate it: How is it ugly? Do you not use computer mice? It's technically a 3D mouse. And do you not use remotes? And do you have any good reasons to hate it other than that it looks ugly?

And along with this, you must sit in a certain position, use your entire arm(or wrist) to control. More of a chore IMO
Just because you're lazy doesn't necssarily mean this is a bad controller. It honestly doesn't matter what we say to you anyways, no matter what you'll think up some excuse to why Nintendo products suck compared to Sony, yadda yadda.

Meaning we can't lean or get into comfy positions on the couch?! Nuuuuuuuuu!
Leaning while playing video games isn't healthy to begin with.

I was really looking forward to this!
Sarcasm? >>

Why not just go wireless for extra peripherals? Or atleast make the connection utilize something we're all used to, such as a USB port on the controller?

Because Nintendo has ORIGINAL ideas, and doesn't just rip everything off a computer.

Do my eyes decieve me? The left hand controller is wired to the remote-styled one!
Oh please, that wasn't even a worthwhile point. The wire isn't even long, and connects the 2 controller piecec, not to the console.

^Comments up there. And no, I'm not a Nintendo fanboy, I treasure my Sony consoles and Nintendo consoles equally. Honestly, XBOX aint worth my time, XD

People who hate it only hate it because they don't know about the gyroscopic features.

Look ninty rules end of story they said they were doing something different and well they did it but at least it's better than the ps3's "really cool" (YEAH RIGHT) boomerang controller!!

Like omg! I'm the same way! xD

Anyways, I guess I could give this a try. At first glance I was a bit sceptical, and still am. But I guess I could give Nintendo the benefit of the doubt...again.

uh huh, and you bothered to reply to this topic why?

Because I felt like adding my opinion, just the same as everybody else. Is there something wrong with doing so? Sheesh. I never even slammed the Revolution itself. I just said I didn't want to look like a complete spazz playing it. Hopefully most, if not all games will come with an option to use the GameCube controller instead, because even though I don't really care for it either, this thing seems to be a piece of tripe.

Oh, and fugly is short for f***ing ugly. It's not a typo.

There are two ways to look at it, either Nintendo making different products just to be different, or Nintendo making different products to be better. 'IMO' justified that I was looking at it from my perspective.

Joking!

I just don't know why that was listed as a feature...
Because Nintendo has ORIGINAL ideas, and doesn't just rip everything off a computer.
That's not being original, that's using proprietary technology in an unforgivable case. Exactly why would someone buy an official Revolution keyboard when they could just plug their own?
And in the midst of all of that sillyness, it's not even completely wireless?

Why extra features will the Revolution utilize by not supporting connections we already use?

Oh please, that wasn't even a worthwhile point. The wire isn't even long, and connects the 2 controller piecec, not to the console.
What about people with really long arms!?!?! :P

Seriously though, refer to the point just above this for my reasoning.

HOW DARE YOU!!!!!! YOU THINK A ****-**** *** TOY IS BETTER THAN A COMPLETLY ORIGONAL IDEA! ALL THEY DID WAS MAKE LONGER HANDLES!!!! OHHH THEY REALLY HAD THINK HARD ON THAT ONE!!! GUESS WHO MADE POKEMON??? WAS IT CRY BABY, NO CARE FOR THERE CUSTOMERS SONY? NO!!!! IT WAS THE ONLY COMPANY WITH A SYSTEM THAT IS COMPLETELEY COMMITED TO SERVING YOU!! SHOVE THAT UP YOUR ****-**** *** TOY!!!

here's a link to the video, from what I read,(which was the first post) is here:THE MOST REVOLUTINARY CONTROLLER!!!

Zero ex, From what I read you didn't even tell what the controller does!!! It uses wireless technology and full movement technology to make it so your constantly moving, now that's revolutionary, much better than those retards at sony!! that's whos working at sony, they just bumped into the gaming industry like nobodys business. And don't even say Microsoft did that, they have been making computer games forever. The gaming industry is not something to just show up in!!! Nintendo is not new to this world! They saved the word of gaming by coming out with the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) They Have been the ones to make revolutions before!! Sony has done Diddly squat!!! nintendo has come out with 12 Systems including the revolution and the GB micro, and Sony has come out with *retarded voice* one...two...three...four. that was the head of Sony by the way, thanks for coming by you! go back to the asylum now!! I curse you now!! I will never leave this thread!!! I will post tiny facts about nintendo regularly!!! muhahahaha!! you have been cursed by the nintendo fanboy!!!

I have long arms FYI, XD
I always though wireless was defined by the fact it isn't plugged into the actual console. Then again, I'll probably lose this thing as easily as my TV remote, XD

Edit: Swizzler, that was definately UNEEDED. Your thread was closed because 1) It was in the wrong forum, and 2) Because theres this one already. For that post, you're recieving a warning.

Yes, but I also like Nintendo, as I've stated in a previous post. Both companies have their ups and downs. However, this thread is about the Rev controller, not Sony.

Edit: And you editted the Sony part out of you post, I see. It may be the truth in your eyes, but please express it in a more mature manner.

Spelling error

I know, I just become alot harsh when someone says sony is better at nintendo at anything, you should of see me this one time when some one said... (Shudders at continuing) sorry! but the contoller is better than you think, Zero ex, you should really see the video!

BTW: I have edited the above post, I have cooled of and realized that I was alot harsh. wow, I got my first warning, darn.

90% of the people who posted in this thread need to get a life...

"OMG Nintendo is perfect no matter what!"

"OMG Nintendo sucks no matter what!"

Seriously, whens the last time people had an opinion of their own instead of just swaying the way of the fanboi. This new controller for the revolution, I really don't like the look of it, and seeing as most gamers are mainstream (meaning they go buy games based on graphics/titles/esrb ratings) this controller won't sell very well. Yes, I know it's Nintendo. Nintendo happens to be my favorite game company, and I love nintendo. But anyone with half a brain knows that Nintendo is in a HUGE slum right now in gaming. I really hate it when nintendo fanbois won't even admit to themselves that nintendo could possibly be doing bad right now...

Love nintendo...hate the controller (for now)...and that's me...

What is it with looks these days, I mean, Who cares what it looks like, To me, this controller will get gamers more in-tune with the game! In the video did you see how much they were moving? they were becoming more involved in the game!!! that is exactly what this contorller will do!! I was complaining about the PS3's handle bars because they seem uncomfortable in the only way you can hold it (the ex. long handle bars make it so you have to stick out your elbows, so most of the time, your friend will have your elbow in his stomach.) with this controller, It is a variable how you can hold it, to get what I mean, watch the video!!

@Dakota: name one thing Nintendo did wrong before the revolution.
also, they aren't in a slum in gaming! the games rock! it's called 3rd party! nobody buys the games though, there in a slum of *style* everybodys got to pretty things up nowadays, heck, I would buy the revolution if the cas was a cardboard box!
