Richard Steel's Battle Stadium

Auraoa, that was actually a very good battle! Togekiss is one of the most annoying Pokes I know, but I thought I had paralyzed it? Must've been wrong.

And boo to you for using Yanmega! That thing is so utterly cheap and unoriginal, that I love when Hypnosis misses, if just for spite. And then we went into a staller war between Bronzong, Blissey and Starmie... that was funny.

And man, talk about relying on stat boosters... almost every guy you had was Calm Minding or Nasty Plotting up. And I couldn't believe how much Tri-Attack did to Blissey... was thinking for a second that it might OHKO her! But nope! And once paralyzed, Porygon-Z was pretty much dead.

But it was a nice battle!

All other battles will have to wait, sadly... I must go for a while, but shall be back very soon!
 
If I had used Hyper Beam Blissey would have been dead x_x For Yanmega can't really think of a good replacement for him ><;
 
Hey I suppose I should post here if we want to battle? I probably wont be free at all today in time to battle, but I have no work tomorrow, but my friends want me to run an L5R campaign so I may or may not be free.

I guess we will see? Heh.

Could you do one now? I'll be most of the rest of today, but very little tomorrow. So it's all up to you, but I could happily battle you now.

I'd rather not rush through a battle, though. I hear you're good, so I'd hate to spoil our showdown! Will you be available later tonight? When do you get home from work, if you're even able to get on then?
 
I'll be back about 9:10pm (PST) but some friends want me to hang out around then. If you are free right around that time then I can get in a battle before I go. Don't expect this to be too epic though! I'm not some master battler, and I mostly have bred for pokemon I like rather than those which are considered the best.

Still, don't underestimate me either! I'll see you later tonight hopefully.

someone has incredible luck today.. critical hit from gengar.. sp.def decrease on venasaur.. and sleep powder is 25% so far

PS: Did you stick a Choice Scarf on Heracross?

i'd like you battle you... do you mind if my team is all shinies?

and is the "hax item" thing in affect, because I use razor claw with one of my pokemon.
 
That battle was so utterly one sided I'm slightly pissed off.

I can accept a loss, but when it was because of hax, I have trouble trouble accepting it. Every hax I got meant nothing, however every hax you got meant everything. Sleep, paralysis, and how does Earthquake not KO Blastoise like that? I'm positive without a doubt that a STABed Earthquake from Claydol with over 100 EVs in Attack would do enough to damage to knock out what was nearly in the red, don't you think?

I'm not even gonna say anything else.
 
WIll you let me battle you richard but turn it off when the battles over because I need to test a pokemon and you seem to be the only one that is currrently battling.

Nah, I'm done with battles for right now. Sorry, but I'll be sure to get back into it a bit later.

yes my heracross has choice scarf :P it makes a nice surprise..

well yeah, the hax started in your favor then it became in my favor.

good battle... it went down to the wire. i love my blastoise ^_^ it won the battle for me. blastoise is so awesome in 4th gen, so underrated.

well with skarm and claydol both not being able to take surf i liked my chances... blastoise did good. it was paralyzed at times too but its defense was just too good. it's defense is like 302 or something.. max hp too.

and remember even if you took out blastoise, i still had snorlax at full hp. even with spikes it was enough for it to curse up, rest, then finish your team.

Even if Snorlax did finish Claydol off, I don't understand how Earthquake didn't KO Blastoise when it should have. His HP was just too low to absorb it like that. Same thing happened with Donphan - an Earthquake from Metagross should have finished him off. But nope! Left him with something like 1 HP. Since damage isn't set in stone (like, a certain attack from a certain poke to a certain poke won't always end up being the same damage, HP-wise), I consider surviving with one HP like that a somewhat hax also. It's just bothering me that Drill Peck from Skarmory did more to Blastoise than Earthquake from Claydol.

And I'm starting to think you put Choice Scarf on your Heracross for the sole purpose of taking out my Starmie... it wasn't like that the first time we battled, or else I never would have kept her in.

Either way, the luck you had with haxes just pissed me off, so my apologies if I'm bitter over that one. All in all I got lucky two times: Focus Blast on Snorlax, and the crit hit against Venusaur, and both meant nothing, really. Paralyzing my Skarmory with Body Slam at the end, that was the tie breaker.
