First and foremost, I usually disliked stall wars, but after a while using Suicune, I've lightened up to it, and decided to try out a stall team. Be as harsh as you want (I encourage a few mocks) and please only post if you have something that will benefit the team. kthanxbai.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT] My First Stall Team

    Deoxys-e @ Leftovers
    Impish
    252 HP/216 SpD/42 Def
    Spikes
    Recover
    Psychic/Substitute
    Taunt/Knock Off

Most people think of Deoxys-e primarily as a special sweeper, but for a stall team, I wanted to try this guy out as an opning Spiker. I'm confused at the last two slots. Sure, it's awesome to be able to protect against status, but then again, I don't want to be utterly walled with no attacking move. The last slot is tricky too. I definately don't want things setting up on me, but I also think an extremely fast Toxic would be beneficial to my team. EV's tweaked to take hits better since I won't need to hit that hard.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT] My First Stall Team

    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Careful
    244 HP/28 Def/238 SpD
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Earthquake
    Body Slam/Crunch

Everyone's "big-boned" wall comes into my team as a status absorber as well as a VERY reliable Heatran counter, which my team sort of hates. Unlike a lot of other Snorlax's, I'm trying to make it so Mismagius and Gengar cannot get a free set up and wall him to no end with only Body Slam and Earthquake.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT] My First Stall Team

    Metagross @ Leftovers
    Adamant
    252 HP/176/40 Def/42 SpD
    Ice Punch
    Bullet Punch/Toxic
    Earthquake
    Reflect

Metagross is here primarily to take those nasty Outrages and take them down solidly with Ice Punch. Earthquake is for things like Tyranitar and friends, whereas Reflect gives me support against those scary physical sweepers. You could say it is a Weavile counter with Bullet Punch, and Deoxys-e doesn't especially like Metagross's bulkiness.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT] My First Stall Team

    Gliscor @ Leftovers
    Impish
    252 HP/252 Def/6 Att
    Roost
    Stealth Rock
    Earthquake
    Aerial Ace

My fighting resist. Coupled with Spiritomb, they can take on any fighter (Spiritomb handles anything besides Heracross, whereas Gliscor kills Hera) I gave him Stealth Rock to see if maybe he's bulky enough to pull it off. It might work out.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT] My First Stall Team

    Spiritomb @ Leftovers
    Careful
    252 HP/142 Att/116 SpD
    Pain Split
    Sucker Punch
    Taunt/HP Fighting
    Will O Wisp

Spiritomb is used to to help Gliscor take on some of the fighting types. With Will O Wisp, Tomb can cripple nearly any physical fighter (excluding Heracross and those rare Machamp) This is where Gliscor comes in and walls the poor thing and OHKO'd with Aerial Ace. May consider Taunt to protect against status, but then again, Spiritomb is really slow.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT] My First Stall Team

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Bold
    188 HP/252 Def/68 SpA
    Surf
    HP Electric
    Wish
    Toxic/Ice Beam/Roar

Every stall team should have a bulky water. This team is no exception. Vaporeon acts as my Gyarados counter with HP Electric, a dragon "counter" with Ice Beam. However, Roar is the most preferable choice here. I also use Vappy for Wish support, so this can pass on some support to my teammates if they need it (Metagross mainly) Surf is there as a reliable STAB. Vaporeon is also here to counter the ever so dreaded Mixape. It also does quite a great job at it.

Of all the team types that need a spinner, stall would be at the top of the list. Hell or just get something to absorb T-Spikes, or all your team gets crippled. Speaking of T-Spikes, i suggest you add those to you list of "Get these on this team nao !"

    Roserade@Leftovers
    252 HP / 252 SPEED / 6 SP.ATT
    Timid Nature
    Trait : Natural Cure
    - Sleep Powder
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Hidden power Fire
    - Grass Knot

    Does both

This can hit all the common spinners for SE. A Life orb 132 Sp.att Starmie 3hko's this accounting for leftovers ^_^. So it can take special hits better than most people expect.

    >>Deoxys, who atm doesnt seem like its doing much in particular.

As for Lax, ive found it still beats all (non Taunt / MS) Heatran 1 vs 1 with Body Slam, as it hates the paralysis, and your not gonna win vs T-Tar anyways, so use Crunch + Body Slam, a STABless lax is a sad one. You have vappy to back lax up anyways on the Heatran issue. Actually, You dont even fear Mismagius and Gengar, due to spiritomb, so its up to you, but i re-iterate, without Body Slam Snorlax is lol.

Use Taunt on Spiritomb too, seeing as you lack a PHazer.

Ice Beam on Vappy aswell, nothing here can do anything to SD Chomp.

Oh and 252 hp / 184 def / 72 speed on Gliscor plox, so you can outspeed Adamant Breloom, Timid Magnezone and + speed T-Tar, so you can avoid getting Sub Seeded to death, HP Iced and Ice Beamed respectively from the aforementioned threats.

Also, i must ask, what does that Metagross do that a HP Ice Bronzong cant (Bar Bullet punch) ? In fact i would feel more comfortable with Zong >> Meta for threats, especially Garchomp.

With a Stall Team, rather than simply throwing together a bunch of Walls, you need to cover each aspect of Defensive strategies.
    So:
    - The Obvious Walls.
    - Spinner
    - Phazer
    - Weather?
    - Spikes/SR/Tox Spikes
    - Para Support
    - Toxic Support
    - Sleep Support
    - Status Absorber
    - Wish ?
    - Burn ?
    - Priority Move/Exploder?
    - Normal/Fighting/Spin Immune
    - Ground Immune
    - Dragon Resist

    ("?" means Optional)
Cover most of those and you should be fine.

With Deoxys, it may be a gimmick, but Wrap prevents switching for 5 turns. I like Gross, though.

I'll use Roserade, but can't Metagross take Outrages and Dragon attacks better? It has a lot more defense than Zong.

    So:
    - The Obvious Walls.
    - Spinner None of my team is SR weak, and Spikes isn't much of a problem since 5/6 of my team have recovery
    - Phazer Was thinking of Roar on Vappy but where
    - Weather? Why?
    - Spikes/SR/Tox Spikes Deoxys-e/Soon to be Roserade
    - Para Support Body Slam Lax
    - Toxic Support Metagros
    - Sleep Support People are too prepared for sleep these days, but I guess Zong if I use it
    - Status Absorber Lax
    - Wish ? Vappy
    - Burn ? Tomb
    - Priority Move/Exploder? Metagross for the former
    - Normal/Fighting/Spin Immune Metagross/Gliscor/Spiritomb respectively
    - Ground Immune Gliscor
    - Dragon Resist Meta

I dunno, Roserade seems like a nice addition...Would it work as a lead?

I was about to use Hippowdon as a lead, but then I thought it would make Meta's role redundant.
