    Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
    - Psychic

LO Deoxys-E makes a great revenge killer, outspeeding many pokemon. 148 speed is for Modest ScarfGar and +natured 95 or below speed. I'm reluctant to add in more speed taking out of attack to outspeed Jolly ScarfChomp due to the need to 2HKO Blissey.
LO recoil also adds up in a Sandstorm, potentially hindering my chances to sweep. I have considered Expert Belt over LO, but it decreases the damage I would do.

Spiker, and counter for physical threats Sala cannot wall.

Eh, new team. I'm basically trying out stall with a heavily revamped edition of one of my teams.

    Problems:

    • Anything with Rest =(
    • Forretress, setting up on Spiritomb and Rapid Spinning on anything else
    • Steel types
    • Gyarados

    Looking it over, I'd would say that's a nice team you have Aqu. Interesting Salamence as well, rare to see Wishin' Mence these days, damn specs runs everywhere. >>;

Mmm. Why have immunity really, on lax? Thick fat would do a nice help having Skarmory and Salamence. It's a restalklax so your going to shrug off poison anyway.

Problem is, Resting takes one turn and I'm certainly not going to let Snorlax become set-up fodder.

Gyarados is the main threat I'm hoping to cover, as well as a way to deal with Resting pokemon, mostly Cresselia, Shuckle and Suicune.

Deoxys-E would outspeed BulkyDos after one DD no? Well you have TBolt, and IIRC, D-E is not exactly super-fragile, So you can risk taking an unboosted hit on the way in, if they choose to attack rather than DD.
Also, you manage to get off a Toxic/WoW before being burned, he'll hate you.

As for resters annoying you, You might as well take the chance to set some thing up with CM/Curse or you could take the chance to get in Some more spikes.

Hmmm. if Gengar puts Spiritomb to sleep, (Hypnosis shouldn't activate sucker punch), you're in deep trouble.

Quick Question - Why do people prefer Whirlwind to Roar? Roar hits through a Sub.

My first switchin to Gengar is Snorlax to absorb sleep, if they Focus Blast first, I would send in Spiritomb and shuffle back to Snorlax to scout Hypnosis.
It helps a lot when Snorlax and Spiritomb are immune to Shadow Ball and Focus Blast respectively.

I almost always make it a point to reserve Deoxys-E for the lategame, the only instances I would bring it out is against an Outraging Garchomp/Dragonite.

I find that Deoxys-E's sweeping capabilities are limited by LO recoil + potential entry hazards + Sandstorm, and it can't come in and revenge kill if I take a hit from Gyarados.

The Resters that are particularly annoying are, Suicune (CM), Shuckle (Toxic) and Cresselia (immunity to Spikes). I can't risk Skarm going in to phaze Suicune, and Cresselia walls almost all my team otherwise. Shuckle is just extra annoying.

Basically, my main problem is Forretress, it can set up on Spiritomb and Rapid Spin if I switch to Mence.

Whirlwind also hits through Subs, as an added bonus over Roar it can phaze Soundproof pokemon and the only pokemon which can Imprison Whirlwind is Smeargle.

Usually my teams are horrible at first and after 10 or so battles they start to get better :0

I would really advise Thick Fat on Snorlax though. Toxic never seems to be common anymore, and you can always Resttalk it off. Set-up fodder-ness is pretty annoying, but Snorlax can always wait a turn or two to rest. It's mostly because Moltres and Heatran will become some really annoying sweepers to put up with.

I would also suggest a rock resist, as I can see Tyranitar's CB Stone Edges hurting an awful lot, especially with such a high crit rate and Skarmory's inability to wall it well.

I was thinking the same about T-Tar as Anti earlier.

Taunt DD Versions of Tar cause you trouble also and shut your team down, you can revenge kill it with Deoxys, but with Life Orb and SS residual damage...yeah. Unless you put Steel Wing on Skarm OLOL . I was thinking a bulky fighter in here, CB Machamp beats all those resters you have problems with Cune, Shuckle etc. Cress gets Pwned by payback and cant status you thanks to Guts. Psychic cressy gets walled by spiritomb regardless.

But this leaves the question, what do you replace ? I thought >> deoxys, but you seem to rely heavily on it revenge killing threats and its your Gyarados counter. So meh =/

About Forretress using Tomb as set up fodder, Taunt maybe ?

Ok.Taunt sounds really good on tomb for two reasons. 1- stops spinners setting up until you switch out the tomb, and 2- you can taunt resters and stall them to death with residual damage.

Just thought it was worth mentioning, i run my tomb with HP Fighting and Shadow Ball, so it hits most spinners well, as they either focus on physical defence or are weak to ghost.
