The current section between Pacifidlog Town and Slateport is a nuisance to navigate if you want to pick up all items and beat all the trainers.
I also consider the entire Battle Frontier a waste of space. Ah yes, more battling. Like there wasn't enough of that.
 
FR/LG: This game has the choice of the series' best protagonist and the series' worst protagonist - and of course the worst protagonist is the more popular one.

Also, why are the 2nd gen wild Pokemon so ridiculously low leveled compared to the 1st gen wild Pokemon in the same patches of grass? Like, how have the Lv50 Persians not hunted the Lv10 Sentrets to extinction?

The Safari Zone method of catching Pokemon absolutely sucks. I'm convinced that place is a scam operation run by Team Rocket.

4th Gen: Routes 216, 217, and Mt. Coronet are a royal pain to traverse.

Rock Climb and Defog: Did we really need more HM moves, especially ones that aren't that useful in battle?

Ah yes, Octillery is my favorite Electric type and Steelix is my favorite Fire type. At least Platinum corrected this issue.

Platinum is also the only home to a lot of the cool stuff like the Villa, Cyrus' "cult leader" speech, and UP AND DOWN BUTTONS FOR THE POKETCH

Speaking of which, "Poketch" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

bruh i swear x and y is so glitchy and trash it almost fried my 3ds and the fact that game freak couldnt come up with a actually good and decent story is embarrassing for everyone and even gamefreak plus the lack of character development is so embarrassing i might vomit rn and the lack of POST-GAME BRO i swear they barely put any work to X and Y and that game was easier i beat it in 5 days the gym battle music is kinda mid and it has the worst rivals in the world like bruh i rather have paul bully me then the dumb rivals in x and y and bro THEY MESSED UP MEWTWOS MEGA EVULUTIONS like legit XY is a disgrace to me and the pkmn community

Gen 6.
Hey guys, let's give the player the most tools we ever have to make their Pokémon extremely powerful and overleveled. Let them catch a bunch of Pokémon with high stats. And give gym leaders Pokémon 2 moves each! And stop adding post game challenges so there's no point to all these new tools. And on top of that, lock all but 8 mega evolutions behind the very last shred of post game story.

Seriously I love gen 6 but even I can admit it had its problems. Kalos deserved Z version to attempt to fix these issues
