    Title says. Do you prefer rock or pop?
    Myself, I prefer Rock because of classic bands
    like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and so on.
    What do you prefer?
     
    Rock most definitely. I listen to a lot of classic/hard rock, metal, metalcore.
     
    Rock, but even then I'm only keen on punk, hardcore, rapcore, symphonic and alternative. No classic, glam or rock & roll for me, thanks. :X
     
    I like both but I listen to more POP than ROCK.

    Im more to alternatives, punk, emo, screamo/post hardcore...
    Aerosmith is classic??? In that case, classic is mah favourite too...
     
    Rock, although I prefer my rock to be blended with electronica to give it an edgier sound like something from t.A.T.u. or Shiny Toy Guns. Another interesting mix that I really love is rock and reggae/hip-hop, which Skindred does incredibly well (not to mention their lead singer is Jamaican, which makes it even more fantastic).
     
    Aerosmith do not deserve to be defined as classics

    Rock gets my vote, just no black/death metal.
     
    I would definetly say Rock. Though Pop has good beat... Rock still... well... Rocks! *points to user title*

    Same here. Beatles are at the top of my list as well as Moody Blues, Allman Brothers, Cream, Queen, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, you name it, they're probably on my Ipod.
     
    It's rock for me, unless it's modern rock (yeah, I'm a pretty old-fashioned guy, especially when it comes to music). In that case I'd probably prefer pop since it's at least...catchy?

    Of course there are exceptions but I generalize everything as it is, lol

    I'm more of a classic rock guy, so yeah. I REALLY don't like pop though, so even if I didn't like classic rock I'd probably vote rock by default.
     
    Personally, I'm more into Rock than Pop. I tend to listen to bands such as Queen, Within Temptation, Nightwish and System of a Down.

    I think that Pop has lost its appeal. The only Pop that I tend to listen to are my old favourites like Steps or Scissor Sisters. No Spice Girls please!
     
    Rock. I'm now getting into psychedelic rock now.
    And alternative is also very, very nice. :>
     
    i'm more of a rock guy than pop.
    i listen to punk, metal,emo, heavy metal,alternative, you name it.
    but i just hate the new rock songs coming out today, that and death metal where they all just scream incoherently(example: the new deathnote song).
    Pop just sounds too...upbeat ever since i listened to TWEWY soundtracks.
     
    Rock all the way for me. Everything from classic (which I grew up on), heavy metal, alternative, anything that screams but not throughout the whole song. I love crazy guitar solos (Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine). Anything rock for me!
